201  Economy / Economics / Re: Is now a good time to buy ? on: February 15, 2014, 08:02:05 PM
You say it's shooting to $1000, and I know it's actually been said to get to $1200 when the new miners are out and then higher and to the moon!  But where are the charts that people have created or made that show the dips and potential raises in pricing?

I know I have seen it before, but do they have some recent ones?  Thanks!
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: February 15, 2014, 07:56:00 PM
Was there a rise in network difficulty?  I am definitely mining a lot less then about 2 days ago.

Also is there no one interested in doge merch?  I have posted it up but I feel it gets hidden.  Beer mugs, wine glasses, pint glasses, shot glasses, etc....

Asking what thoughts are, and if there is a reason to create a line for the Dogecoin Community! (And yes we would accept dogecoins for merch!)

Thanks!  Let us know

So the real question I have is.   Does doge and other cryptos have the same malleability issue?

Has this jump happened similiary in the past?  And how far off are we from the cut in coins per block?

Yea it's basically one payout address, just a whole bunch of inputs coming into it.  So what are you suggesting for that?  Thanks!

So is Gox completely done?  Or is that speculation?  It appears that they are finally on the same page of pricing as the rest...but has there been anymore updates on when peopel can withdraw?  That's when I feel I need to be ready to buy in...what do you guys think?

Good question.... I have had the same question myself.

Was mining vertcoin recently, turned it off due to that I am looking into leafcoin and mining more dogecoin than usual due to a 10% boost that the suchmine.com are giving for the next 40 hours or so.

Also I'm mining feathercoin.

Look for the low difficulty ones that can actually be traded on Cryptsy and can be easily converted to BTC.  There's the answer I think.
Watch out for scampools.  If you don't see <yay!!!> from mining success and something coming straight to your pool record or wallet, turn it off and find another pool.  (don't forget the difficulty increases, check difficulty all the time, note that bitcoin as an example increases an average of 30% every two weeks.)

Have fun.

edit: you all know this stuff changes all the time, but here are a few nice tools for research and analysis purposes:
http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/ (scroll down for the 'cool tools')
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/coins/info (lots of raw goodage, relative difficulty, top tabs show exchanges and arbitrage data)
http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/dogecoin-mining-calculator (dogecoin mining calculator - see mining tab for many more coins)
http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php (the most excellent, btcinvest calculator, has the factors you need)
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/18095/what-should-i-consider-when-deciding-to-whether-or-not-to-mine/18097#18097

Thanks I've been on the same page!

i think its called research guys
dont expect people to do it for u
start here
http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency

This is not a request of having people do it for me, I have all of my paperwork and sites setup as well as my exchanges for what I feel.  This was a simple question to bring discussion on what people felt.  It's all speculation no matter who's advice it is.  This is a forum, and hence a place to bring discussions and peoples thoughts together who share the same love.  In this case, crypto currencys (more specifically, bitcoin).

If I were to ask, what currency do you guys think will prevail next to bitcoin, I wouldn't expect an answer of "Do your research, and don't expect people to do it for you".  I would expect some very educated and thought out replies that would raise discussion and fire up the thoughts of others.  That's how the business world does it, you bring up a question so that ideas can bounce off each other.  But thanks for your well thought out reply!

Alright so while working I use to be on faucets a year plus back.  I had a wallet address on my laptop for faucets, and a seperate main wallet for my mining and purchasing on my desktop.  How can I go ahead and merge the two.  For some reason nothing happens when I drag it onto blockchain, and when I try to send the smaller one to the desktop wallet, I guess it's too many small transactions.  Is there anyway to merge the two easily?  I heard of that python program, but to be honest I have no clue on how to do that.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer!

When did the ban happen on paypal and ebay?  I thought they just stated them as competitors?  And paypals CEO is invested and has stated the potential of being able to accept bitcoin in the future into paypal....

Thanks!  So no thoughts or speculation on what the price will go to and/or at what time.  Or are we going to still see a drop?

Hey everyone,

So right now I have used middlecoin for mining and have been mining dogecoin recently due to the ROI.  What do you guys recommend or prefer that could be exchanged on Coinedup?  Thanks!

What is the deal with Gox?  I havn't seen this article...and yea I saw the deal with Russia.  Apparently they aren't allowing it at all?  Is that confirmed or speculation as of now?
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Explanation help for the drop?? on: February 07, 2014, 03:31:19 AM
The apple portion I know but im assuming once that new undeniable app gets created there would be a panic.  But I wasnt aware of Mt Gox restrictions.   Whats that about?  I hear Mt Gox is thought to be messing with the inflation and not to be the most trusted exchange anyway.

Does anyone have a prediction as to what will happen and when.  Whether it's deflation or inflation?  Any predictions or advice will help.  Thanks.

I got some im holding onto from mining when it was 109 and then some purchases between 750 and 810.
220  Economy / Economics / Explanation help for the drop?? on: February 07, 2014, 03:21:36 AM
Im aware that Apple products started an issue but everyone says that we shouldn't see an issue from it.   So can anyone help explain the reason my bitcoin ticker alarm keeps going off due to decently extreme drops...thanks
