201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good days to bitcoin will be back soon. on: November 18, 2022, 10:17:47 PM

As for POS nothing more to say infact the recent saga around Centralized exchanges as proven that POS doesn't have a future due to its centralization, I just hope investors do not realise it late.

If comparing POW with POS then of course POW will be the better choice because it brings decentralization but the collapse of exchanges, specifically FTX in recent days, I think has nothing to do with POS. All the people who lost money in the FTX crash are aware of the risks of putting their money in FTX but they chose the risk to seek profit and they were too subjective to trust FTX completely.
Proof of work is far more secured than proof of stake algorithm since pow give us decentralization and prove of stake open us up to centralization of the network, since with proof of stake, the wallet with the highest stake volume control the network confirmation and this give power to few whales that can tempered with the transaction process since their have the higher stake volume.

But then pow also have its own shortcomings and one of them is the energy consumption by miners, but even that is taken care of by the use of another source of energy supply.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential scam.. need help please on: November 18, 2022, 09:21:32 PM
This is pretty common with ethereum wallets I have tons of those cheat tokens seating dormant in my wallets for God knows how long and sometimes I consider them to be spam tokens, and these tokens are never worth anything, ethereum network with its smart contract feature have open us all up to a lot of this spam where random tokens are dropped in addresses in the network.

I don't usually take them seriously since they can't amount to anything and they can be a threat to my wallet security unless I click on any link.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportbet.one - SCAM on: November 18, 2022, 08:08:14 PM
Many sportbetting sitesare guilty of this and some time one can't blame them since players also are guilty of trying to cheat the casino or abuse their bonus systems, but seeing that you received a latter from the casino team on deduction from you balance to cover for loses and interested to know how much was the deduction and what is left of your balance.

What is the current state of your account, can you access the account now or it is still blocked?
204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do what is right to be happy on: November 18, 2022, 07:51:14 PM
Bitcoin is the best choice when holding assets for the long term, and also we should know that having to dive into buying bitcoin at the right time is also a good way to go about it.

Since Bitcoin is a volatile asset we should make sure that we have a good entry price so that we will have a good position whenever the market situation happens.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So many good news but Market and coins don't go up on: November 17, 2022, 04:59:22 PM
Sometimes, news alone is not enough to push the market upward and if you may know, we still have so many factors that control the price of many coins and not only news.

We have whales that hold big bags and they can influence the price of those coins too.

Other factors aside from whales and media news also include the public perception of the coin and how traders react to them on the exchange.
206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Never depend on cryptocurrency as your only source of income. on: November 16, 2022, 09:42:22 PM
I think, what we should first look at is the amount your friends were earning as monthly take-home pay from their job and how happy and satisfied they are doing that job, if they earn below what their profiting from trading then they could quit the job to focus on trading and if there have proper risk management, there will be fine during a bear market because there should already have a set-aside fund that can cover for them for a while before the market pick again.

But then it is not advisable to depend on one source of income so while they are profiting from trading, they should also focus on developing other skills that can be a replacement or an addition to what they presently have.
207  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 16, 2022, 09:28:38 PM
Thanks yeah about the bonus cheaters i think we have to sacrifice that and offer low bonus so we can be always 100% a KYC free site
Try to avoid no deposit bonus even if the amount is a few dollar. You will end up discovering yourself losing a lot of money. Eventually these accounts are hundreds of bots from a few group of people.
Rose777 is right, a deposit bonus at a none KYC casino is not going to be possible no matter the number of funds you think you have to cover up for the bonus even if the bonus is a few cents.

Bonus abusers will have a slide ride and fest on your generosity, you can never find real players in that manner only tons of bots will drain up your bonus and have them sent to one wallet to gather their lots.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: November 16, 2022, 07:09:43 PM
However, even though we can't presumably predict the price of Bitcoin in the next couple of yes to come, we can be certain that Bitcoin price will rise above its present market price so holding Bitcoin for the long term is the best possible option if you are getting to secure the financial future of a child since you will have enough time to wait for that to happen.

Given a 10-year investment plan is cool anyways but not everyone has the patience to wait that long for the investment to appreciate.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of self-custody outweigh the risk of exchanges on: November 16, 2022, 05:39:45 PM
The risk of exchange is higher than that of private custody because with an exchange you are not in control of your coins and not only the exchange but even hackers also have access to your coins on an exchange. But if you have your assets stored on a cold wallet without it being connected until you need it only you will have access to your assets, as long as you have the private security keys to the wallet you can have it stored on multiple forms.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another opportunity is coming, a time to hold on: November 16, 2022, 12:49:49 PM
Even though we can not rely on speculative data to conclude that not all Canadian will have the boldness to publicly show off their Bitcoin addiction and since the whole industry has ridden on the wings of speculation over the years we can not conclude that we will have a bull run in 2024.

Even though the year 2024 is another halving year for Bitcoin and many expect to see a bull run after the halving but we are still uncertain of that we can say that a Bitcoin bull will happen in 2024 even though we greatly expect that.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: thank god for bringing btc back in 2018. on: November 15, 2022, 09:34:11 PM
usually the FOMO is triggered when the price approaches the ATH.
but in reality it is during these collapses that you have the best chance of buying cheap coins.
I would also add ... sell some shitcoins that you have accumulated "believing they were the new bitcoin" this is the best time to do some cleaning Wink
The worst case scenario is when one sells at a price below the entry, and if you have the right frame of mind and approach you will always e fine with the Bitcoin market conditions at whatever point in time.

Most people believe in shitcoins to be the next Bitcoin but those coins keep falling in value constantly without any form of recovery Bitcoin has always regained its value at several points when it declines in price and Bitcoin have also made all-time high price several and when it comes to Bitcoin, I only have one advice and that is, always know when to enter the market and when to exit the market. The best form is, to buy low and sell high, so each bear market is an opportunity to buy more.
212  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sanitize the Gambling Board. on: November 14, 2022, 09:19:33 PM
I have seen quite a few numbers of such topics popping up on the gambling board instead of the gambling discussions board, u don't know if the creators of such topics do that deliberately or out of share ignorance of the appropriate sections that suit such discussions if you see such topics you can make use of the report to moderator's bottom so that such threads will be moved to the right sections.

I won't want to call anyone out since the bottom solve such issues is active in the forum some members may not even know how to move a thread they created to another board so even though you call the attention, it still ends up as a waste of time.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: thank god for bringing btc back in 2018. on: November 14, 2022, 09:01:59 PM
To say the truth, I am with those with the opinion to see Bitcoin price go up, not because I am greedy but for the sake of speculation of the market Bitcoin has hovered around a declining level for so long and if care is not taken those who want to take advantage of the weak hands will always want the price to stay down for a while so that they can fill their bags.

But if we can also be sincere, we should see this situation as the best entry point, since the price is low.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 12, 2022, 08:37:23 PM

So what would you advise as a gambler? is it better to collect the cash-out or wait for the full cash
If you think that amount of winnings is already good enough for you and are starting to doubt the remaining legs then cash it out. I've also experienced those kinds of parlays where there are only one or two legs left but instead of cashing them out, I decided to ride them out which rarely works out. Whenever I have a parlay and I can't cash them out I sometimes bet on the other side as it's better to secure some profits even if they go down significantly.
You are very correct on this one as the amount won in the total cash kit balance can determine whether you continue to play or not. Let's say you already earn over 40% of your total bet amount you are as good as winning the total bet price and can decide to walk away and not want to risk the entire winning price if the bet goes against your prediction as the game goes on.

So cashing out is sometimes the best thing in some situations especially when the clubs are top clubs.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 12, 2022, 02:47:09 PM
What a surprise in Manchester. Brentford, after 4 games in a row without a win, beat Manchester City by scoring in the 98th minute of the match. I wonder if Arsenal will beat Wolves today and extend their lead over Manchester City to 5 points. Newcastle vs Chelsea is going to be a very interesting match. In this match, I bet on the home team to win.
What a great match we saw, a match we never expected. Basically I mean Manchester City to lose. Manchester City dominated the entire game. But we expected Manchester City to win this match. Unfortunately, the opposition managed to defeat Manchester City with a goal in the last minute of extra time.
Not every day is a lucky day and even though I hard strong faith in Manchester City winning the match today and the end up losing with a 1-goal difference which makes the match to end 2 goals to 1 and Manchester losing the game but I know in their next match Manchester city will recover from this unexpected defeat after the club has topped the league table for a while.

The outcome of today's match may not lower Manchester City's position on the table but then a lot has changed in their overall performance and statistics based on the result of today's match.
216  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: November 12, 2022, 01:47:23 PM

What extra do you expect from a (somewhat established) crypto casino? A few aspects we can think of include:
- More crypto original games. Minesweeper and plinko, so we've heard, are getting trendy. Any more thoughts and would these interest you?
- More cryptos accepted as payment options. We currently support BTC, ETH, EOS, USDT and USDC. More has been requested - but will it make depositing easier for you? And which cryptos should we add, in your opinion?
- Additional features for our chat room?
And feel free to tell us anything else you really want!

No matter how established is the casino there is always a room for more growth as innovations and ideas can make a casino even more better.

You have already mentioned a few things which you should include in your casino. More games, more and easy withdrawal and deposit options should be implemented as soon as possible. The more facility you can give to your gamblers, they will not only become our permanent customers and stay at your site but at the same time recommended it to their family and friends.

Think out of the box how can you make gambling more easy and entertainment for the gamblers and keep doing improvement in your casino.

Well trustdice have improved the functionality in recent time and for the admin to create this thread for a room for feedback from forum members to further serve the community better, and most of the challenges already mentioned by members have already been handled and proven by the trusdice team who have constantly kept in touch with their clients in bringing more features to help compete with another casino on this forum.

And the only major challenge with the casino is in their currency system and how conversions are made both for withdrawals and deposits.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 11, 2022, 08:54:02 PM
I like to cash out about 75% if I win big and then play with the rest.
Exactly cashing out is a very important feature in football betting just like every other investment, if you already gain a tangible amount of profits all that you need is to walk away unless you are very sure of the outcome of all the games you selected.

But my ultimate advice is to exit when the stage is still in your favor because football is an unpredictable game so you have to act with caution and be smart to analyze properly.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: War of exchanges on: November 11, 2022, 07:13:27 PM
We should be prepared for more bear market as this exchanges are causing panic within the cryptocurrency community and why this war will effect price of most commodities on the exchange is because exchange CEO and they teams are the whales we have in the market and we may see more of whales actions in the coming days.

Whitebits should have stated the reason for delisting BNB from their trading pair so that their clients will have a better understanding of what is happening rather than leaving them to speculate the reason behind the action of the exchange.
219  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: November 11, 2022, 05:26:26 PM

Could "staking" be the source of extra rewards? Perhaps, but I don't know, I haven't tried staking.

Yes, it really is especially for OWLtoken, which offers High APR, and low risk. I got 500 additional Owltoken after only 10 days of Staking in their pool, their  Earn OWL Stake OWL pol expired yesterday and I'm waiting for a new one, hopefully, it will be the same APR and the same rewards, I'm looking forward to stake my Owl token for 30 days or more for more rewards.
if the price is stable you of course have earned more profits, but if the price drops the results from stakes at least help cover your losses, storing OWL tokens is not suitable for the short term, at least medium distance while the casino site is still running OWL tokens will be the most valuable
The truth is casino tokens can not be taken as an investment token since their price is highly unstable, and even if you are rewarded with high rewards from staking what is the worth of it in the exchange market, 500 owl token is not enough to pay for gas fees on the Dapp, but all the same, if you get rewarded with thousands of tokens then you can earn enough to take profits even if the price of the token decrease on the exchange.

Those who got into an owl at the early stage were lucky to have accumulated enough tokens at a low price so they are still at a good entry point and can easily take profits.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My reason to be in btc on: November 11, 2022, 04:18:06 PM
This is a wrong reason, how can you suspend your ability to pick up other abilities?

Haven't you read the phrase: Do your research?
I advise you to take the time to build your knowledge in diverse ways related to cryptocurrency and investment in general and rely little on others' advice, especially for altcoin investment.

The technicality behind Bitcoin may be sustainable, but the same can not be said about altcoins. So concentrate more on Bitcoin if you lack knowledge and depend on others to make your entry decision.
