City who maintains possession and high line often welcomes lot of risk. Counter-attacking is the great way to break City's defence find the net. For a great counter attacking side like Brentford, they seemed to had a plan and executed that well enough to get 3 points off from the game. The second goal was kinda dicey. De Bruyne had to make a difficult choice- either to make a challenge and win the ball and continue with the attack OR just wait for the player to get in control and put pressure on him which in turn will delay things a bit. With 3-4 minutes one on the clock it was a difficult one and Brentford did great job to find that goal.

Now Arsenal have the chance to increase the gap to 6 points. Just perfect before WC starts but hope Gunners defeat Wolves.

What a great match we saw, a match we never expected. Basically I mean Manchester City to lose. Manchester City dominated the entire game. But we expected Manchester City to win this match. Not every day is a lucky day and even though I hard strong faith in Manchester City winning the match today and the end up losing with a 1-goal difference which makes the match to end 2 goals to 1 and Manchester losing the game but I know in their next match Manchester city will recover from this unexpected defeat after the club has topped the league table for a while.

It was a big loss for Man City. They were playing at home and they dominated the game, but in the last minute they conceded and they had to lose the 3 points they could have won. If Arsenal can win against Wolves, then Man City will be even further behind Arsenal.

I didn't think Manchester City players played carefully to avoid injury. The performance of Manchester City players was similar to the previous matches. They attacked a lot in this match. In this match, Manchester City players made a total of 29 shots, 6 of which were on target. On the other hand, Brentford's players made 10 shots, 8 of which were on target. Brentford didn't attack much but every attack they had was beautiful. That's why Bretford won against mighty City today.

Brentford I didn't see it coming but I knew the match would be difficult for Manchester City even though I had hope that Manchester City would win but Brentford surprised us with a 90+ minute goal by Ivan Toney to make it his second goal of the match and a winning goal for Brentford.

This is the beauty of the English Premier; unpredictability. No team is unbeatable and every team has the capacity to win big teams. Manchester City was in-charge of the game and controlled every area of the match. But the Brentford defense was solid and mother luck was by their side. Counter-attack is indeed the only weapon to undue a highly attacking side like City. Brentford created more chances and attempted to score more, they deserve to win.

Brentford were ruthless today while playing against Manchester City. Right from first half, it was evident that, they were in for a very tough game. 5 minutes into the game and Brentford have got about 3 chances to get the ball in the net.
Manchester City didn't play like a top team in today. They were just there, being average, looking for fowls and penalties and the referee wasn't giving in.
Haaland had zero impact due to the defence mounted on him and u suppose this the trick now for most teams as, Manchester City are now building there games around Haaland, always looking out for him to make the finish and that's some reason for them to fail.
