Thanks for sending the coins but I am still unable to receive them. I have a new problem.
I am able to start up skycoin ok now, I have the wallet open, and things are working but I'm seeing
"Failed to read from "
"Failed to connect to "
"disconnected because: invalid version"
coming up over and over.
The wallet shows a 0 SKY balance.
I have tried a number of times at different times.
What is going on now? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I vote that we rename Skycoin to Conspiracy Coin  Hi Skycoin, thanks for help but in the early wallets I have there is no seed in them. I have new wallets as well and can see the seed. So for some reason not sure why there is just no seed. Unless there's something else that can be done maybe I should just scrap it and start again and re apply for coins again. What do you think? It does contain an "id" and I can't find an "id" in the new wallet files, however the "id" : "contained numbers and letters" are overall shorter than the seed in newer wallet file. The "id" is also referenced twice at the beginning and at the end of file information. Create a new wallet. Then send the coins to the new wallet. You must have had a really early wallet. The first wallets did not have seeds. The coins you have sent me were to this old wallet address that I am unable to get working. I have not been able to receive them because skycoin wont run with this old wallet. So I have no coins to send anywhere. You will have to re send them. This is becoming one problem after another with no end in sight. Maybe we start all over again and I will re apply for some more coins. Ah. Should not be too difficult. En fait ethereum est avant tout un support d'applications (plutôt petites, à priori) et plus ces applications ont besoin d'un tiers de confiance (joué par le réseau P2P et la blockchain), plus l'utilisation de ethereum est pertinente. L'aspect monnaie de ethereum est assez secondaire : il sert de monnaie pour payer l'utilisation du réseau par lesdites applications. Donc, tout le succès de l'éther va reposer sur son adoption ou non par ces applications : si de nombreuses applications voient le jour, il y aura besoin de beaucoup d'ether pour payer l'occupation réseau, sinon l'ether ne servira à rien ou pas grand chose. Sur le plan théorique, c'est assez enthousiasmant. Dans la vie réelle, comment cela vat-il se passer, c'est une autre histoire. Un point de repère tout de même pour tes éventuels futurs achats : lors de la prévente, les concepteurs même de l'ether ont évalué sa valeur à 50.000 satoshis. C'était à une période où le bitcoin valait autour de 600/500 €. Donc à peu près 30 à 25 cents l'ether. Avec un bitcoin à 238 $, ces 25 à 30 cents correspondant à environ 115000 satoshis. Donc, comme je le disais plus haut, les gens qui ont acheté leurs ethers lors de la souscription (et c'est largement la majorité des détenteurs d'ethers puisque le minage est très récent et limité) et qui vendent aujourd'hui font encore un énorme bénéfice (68 cents) malgré les baisses quotidiennes à répétitions de 10%. Et ils feront des bénéfices jusqu'à ce que le cours atteigne ces 115000 satoshis/30-25 cents, donc le potentiel de baisse est énorme encore. A mon sens, il est urgent d'attendre :-). Cloné le bitcoin comme litecoin a fait, puis d'autres ont fait, c'est facile ça pouvait marcher. Je te sens bien péssimiste, tu as encoré joué et perdu sur une shitcoin ?
On s'en fout que les grandes sociététes s'y mettent, si elles le font ce sera centralisé et closed source, donc pas du tout une concurrence pour Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dash, Doge, NXT,...
Tu préfères migrer sur une technologie blockchain totalement sous contrôle par une grosse société ou être sur un réseau bien plus robuste et fiable géré par la communauté ?
Une grosse boite qui utiliserait une blockchain centralisé et closed source, elle pourra faire comme Volkswagen avec ses voitures, modifier la blockchain à sa guise.
La centralisation c'est pas ce qui dérange les gens, ils préferont miser sur IBM blockchain ou Apple smart contract coin 3.0. Après tout si il y a un défaut sur le produit ils savent a qui se plaindre et auront peu être droit a dédommagement si des choses tournent mal, plutôt que miser sur le coin développé par Jean Luc Ethan truc géré par un réseau décentralisé. Après ceux qui voudront opter pour la décentralisation il y aura toujours Bitcoin, Ethereum etc mais les autres seront vite dépassés. (si c'est pas deja le cas) Car techniquement ces géants la avec tout le staff et l'argent qu'ils ont, vont pas juste copié le modèle bitcoin altcoins mais pousser la technologie encore plus loin. Ou alors c'est qu'ils sont bidons et valent pas un Satoshi ou Vitalik. |
