201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: November 06, 2016, 05:39:45 AM
The scam artist is pumping up the price and then tanks it 30-40% causing people to shortsell.  Pumps it up again and then tanks it.

Two ways to avoid this ever-present manipulation:
1) Stay out of the token market (and all speculative places to put your money),
2) Buy & hold.

The only people who get burned generally are those who cannot afford to be in speculative markets with their non-disposable income, and are forced to sell because they took short term positions with next week's grocery money, or next month's rent.

The idea of Synereo being behind such behavior is absurd, and baseless.

You should focus your complaints toward the exchanges that permit this kind of behavior (and they are usually in the unique position to profit from this, regardless of the direction of manipulation).  Getting away from Centralized entities with single points of control clearly needs to be done in the crypto trading industry as well as all others.

First of all, money is money irrespective of whether its disposable or not.  The decision to sell is not only based on need.  Many people sold their AMPs because they see clear price manipulation going on which tarnishes the credibility of the project.  Why would I as an investor put my money into something I know is 100% being manipulated (and considering this is your project whose reputation is being tarnished, perhaps, you should be the one focusing the complaints to the exchange).

Secondly, there are a lot of red flags around the manipulation going on because it A) Requires a huge amount of both BTC and AMPs to orchestrate,  B) Seems to be only targeting AMPs and 3) Coincidentally occurs right after the ICO is over. I f we were to compare these behavior to another speculative type of investment, penny stocks, the culprit is 99% someone from the inside.

Also given how Elokane chose to respond to the ICO investors who just funded his whole project and had legitimate concerns, Choosing to default into the scripted Legal Cover Your Ass statement and throwing them under the bus, indicates how much these "donators" are actually valued by the Synereo team and casts further doubt on the individuals behind the project.

The last thing to point out is very soon, there are going to a whole bunch of pissed off ICO investors that will be getting their AMPs.  I'm sure some will hold, but there will also be many that will dump it all.   Given the clear 100% price manipulation going on (meaning the current price is artificially derived by a single source and not really set by the market), the red flags as to who the source is, and the looming increase in supply of AMPs which will get dumped,  it makes sense to avoid AMPs like the plague.

202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: November 06, 2016, 01:53:08 AM
almost every ico have delay's... it's "normal".
but yeah, no communication is a problem... they should at least explain what happened.

but chill guys, wait a little before you start crying and asking for your money back... it's a big launch and a small team, one day isnt big deal.

I don't think people would mind the delay in the vein of doing a proper release.  The issue is the communication.  If someone just came out and simply took 1 minute to type an update, that would be fine.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: November 06, 2016, 12:59:10 AM
No reason to give release dates if they arent kept.  Every date so far has been missed. Name change was a bad idea

Good point about dates but i disagree with your opinion on name change.

The team has stated the ICO will be completed before the name change so think of it as a time period to expand your portfolio while the prices are low.

Once a new name and marketing campaign are launched there is no reason for drksilk not to replace dash, xmr, ect and have the price reflective of its capability.

Be patient fellow silknetwork believers, the payoff will be worth it  Cool

Sure it wil.. i just want my money back. I didnt purchase an ico of 'mystery coin' i purchased darksilk set to launch at a certain date. Completely irresponsible and amateur undertaking here.

I get his point.  It's not the fact that its delayed. It's the fact that there is no communication at all about whats going on.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: November 03, 2016, 04:04:39 AM
I wouldn't touch AMPs with a 10 foot pole now.  There's a huge scam going on  with an orchastrated massive dump.   The scam artist is pumping up the price and then tanks it 30-40% causing people to shortsell.  Pumps it up again and then tanks it.   You will know this is happening when on the buy side in POLO, you will see a nominal amount as the first buy order.  DO NOT I REPEAT TOUCH AMPS.  You will be burnt.  Case in point- If you go on Polo now, you will see the first buy order as 0.66 AMPs for hours no matter the price.  The person has a bot programmed.

Dor and his scam artist team have litterly robbed investors (Sorry, he considers them donators).   The project will be long forgotten in year's time.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: October 31, 2016, 03:42:08 AM
Looks like Dash is bouncing back pretty hard.

Still, I'm really getting worried here.  A lot of time and money is being spent on the same things over and over, website and logo, marketing, etc...  Don't get me wrong, I agree these things are important, but I see this gaping hole that isn't being worked on at all.  That is merchant integration.

I believe we are losing ground on adoption.  I realize the core team wants to do things in a nice linear fashion.  Finish up Evolution, then make apps that will make Dash easier to use, then hope merchants will use apps someone else creates for them to accept Dash.  However, Dash Evolution is complex and will still take a long time to debut, and in the meantime we are losing ground to others who see the importance of merchant adoption.

If we don't bring this highly neglected sector up to the level everything else has come to, we are going to win the battle but lose the war.  We need merchant tools ASAP.  And we need them to be decentralized so that merchants can choose which products and service combinations they want and that are most advantageous to them.  But I see very little work in this direction.  All we have is expensive credit cards that can be used in the existing commerce system, which in fact adds 4.5% to every purchase (along with the 3%+ the merchant has to pay)  This is cool, especially if shake, or whatever their name is, can reduce the cost to free eventually, but it's NOT adoption!

Crypto-currencies have one big advantage to adoption, and that is cost!  They're virtually free IF a merchant accepts the coins and holds.  They're super cheap, around 1%, if a merchant chooses to cash out their coins for Fiat at their chosen exchange.  THIS is where merchant integration should be focused.  Helping merchants accept Dash (as an equal to fiat or credit cards) as payment.  We need to get people to NEED to use Dash, and Dash alone. Because it is instant and secure (huge network) it's also private.

This needs to be fixed ASAP.  We can't afford to wait for Evolution.  By that time, we will have lost our head start and other coins will make inroads into the minds of merchants and users.

But how do we do this?  The core team really doesn't understand the needs of merchants.  We need a new team to do this work.  To take over this kind of integration, this service to sell to merchants.  We have a chicken or egg situation, and we simply have to create both at the same time.

Is there anyone out there who is considering working for Dash, the network (not core)?  Can you provide ideas and hopefully solutions to this problem?

Something like square's Point of Sales solution?  This could work for any small business, especially hobbyists flea markets, etc... We need to make REAL inroads into a marketplace, and as the Jackalope festival showed us, the easiest inroads would be wit free thinking, advantage seeking individual merchants.  Lets make it so advantageous for them to use Dash, that it becomes the must-have and most desirable payment option.

But we need someone with the skill and vision to make this happen.  if that's you, please come discuss this here

I am happy to help and will send you a PM.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 30, 2016, 09:54:43 PM
How and when I can receive the AMP, I invested through BankTheFuture and still haven't received the coins. What do I have to make?

When investors get the tokens, the price will go lower because of inflation.

You are a fool to think like this. Inflation would be if there would be nothing in exchange for the coins. But in fact there is an additional 4.7 million dollars in development fund value added to the coin. Your coins are worth much more now. Especially because the investors paid 3 times the price.

It's not being foolish. It's basic economics.  When people receive their tokens, it will increase supply which will lower the price.  There are many investors that got burnt because of the scam they just pulled off and will dump their coins to cut their losses.  The millions they just made ripping off investors is not enough to satisfy their greed.  Shame on them.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: October 30, 2016, 03:48:50 AM
How are things going here? Where is the development that has long been pending or any news that will jumpstart LISK slow growth.

Growth?  It's more like downhill trend into oblivion.  This coin will be dead pretty soon.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 30, 2016, 12:45:48 AM

If I was Dor, I'd be doing a company AMP buy back right now on the open market to pick up all these cheap AMPs the saps are selling.  Just take $1M out of the $4.7M and you could purchase back 9.25M AMPs which you could sell for much more later.  Seriously Dor, think about it.

$2 million

You guys don't get it.  This was an extremely brilliant scam orchestrated on their part.  They attempted to psychologically trick the "donators" to think that the price was 50x more than this coin is worth by setting an ICO price, allowing the price on the exchanges to rise. Once ICO is over, they started dumping en masse netting them a double profit.  Dor is an absolute greedy scumbag.

We set the price for the sale 25% lower than peak market price.

All Synereo-operated wallets can be tracked here, in case anyone wants to see whether or not Synereo is selling AMPs.

People are not that stupid.  You obviously had a private stash that you dumped on the side.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: October 29, 2016, 09:42:25 PM
It's almost a week now and I still don't see the SLK deposited into my SLK ICO address in Weaver.  Undecided  Is there anyone from the team that can take a look at this?
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: October 29, 2016, 07:25:19 PM
The interesting pattern I notice is that after every single big drop, the coin keeps rising instead of continuing to fall.

That's how it is unfortunately with Crypto.  The team themselves couldn't care less.  They made millions on top of holding on to  a lot of Lisk.  I wouldn't be surprised if it was many of them that dumped.   I am just thankful I got out recently with a small profit.  You have to look at the long term trend and it still even now continues to go downhill. The ICO price is the last resistance and once that is breach, its going to take a miracle for this coin to return to its former glory.  The team could litterly leave and come up with a whole new coin concept and raise more millions.   Wash Rinse and Repeat.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: October 29, 2016, 04:44:03 PM
The last resistance for this coin is the ICO price.  Anticipate a big dump to come soon.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 28, 2016, 01:11:38 AM
Stupid coin. Inprofessional team not conforting investors

This is fucking ridiculous, market manipulation at its finest, walls were purposely set twice and crashed the price hard twice, screwing investors short and long term, At this rate AMPS peak will be 10,000 SATOSHI if that.

Can AMP respond to give some comfort for investors that bought at the crowdsale? I know the price may never see 30,000 again mabye we can suffer a 15% loss or 20% but at this rate this is absolutely scary. 50?!%

Given, that AMP is an amazing project and I do see massive potential but now we are rivaling with Zcash.

I flat out feel like I am going to vomit, Crypto Currency is starting to really show its true colors. To much manipulation, When you are developing a coin I believe its in your best interest to not screw over the initial investors making you who you are.

This is awful man. To much evil in this world.

Dear xtyling and CollegeKid,

I want to correct some misconceptions apparent in your posts.

1) The name of the project is Synereo, not AMP. AMPs are one part of the project, which is quite large in scope, only meant to serve a purpose in the technological tools and apps Synereo is creating.
2) People who have purchased AMPs are not investors, and AMPs do not hold within them any financial promise. This is clearly mentioned in our communications and was discussed in the terms and conditions of the sale that one had to approve of before participating in the sale.
3) Synereo's business is not providing comfort to people who have purchased AMPs, but rather to develop specific tools discussed in the roadmap we have presented prior to the sale, culminating in a basis for a decentralized economy and the creation of a functional dApp ecosystem.

Wow, then what would you call people that purchased AMPs?  Donators?  I have to give it you, this is one of the best orchestrated scam ICOs that I've ever seen to pump up the AMP price for the big dump.  The OP flat out admitting that AMPs have no value.  Well Done.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: October 27, 2016, 04:20:27 AM
I don't mean to be disrespectful here.  However, it has now been 4 full days and I have not seen the SLK I sent over to my SLK ICO account on the SlikNetwork credited.   I have not received a single response or update from any of the team members telling me what's going on. There was no problems in withdrawing the SLK from the SLK ICO address I sent it over to  within 2 hours after the ICO ended, but yet, it still can't be credited to my account?  I understand that everyone is busy, but I would appreciate even a simple update or response that it is still being processed or looked into?
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 25, 2016, 10:55:44 PM
How do you guys view AMP in relation to LSK?   I may consider picking up some AMPs if the price continues to drop further.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: October 25, 2016, 12:10:43 PM
Can I still participate in the ICO?

I have SLK @bittrex, If I move them to the Wheaver (Silk (ICO)) address, then, the SLK can be swapped for dslk?

Is there some risk to lost the coins due to issues in the network, or the chain is working well?

People talking about issues are taking about the old Silkcoin and the old chain.

Silk(SLK) has zero issues and the chain is working better than well Cheesy

19hrs 20mins left of the ICO.

Sent you guys a PM.  Still not seeing the Silkcoin I sent last night to Weaver appear in my wallet.  Intended to put it all in the ICO...

We have messaged Matthew to inform him of the deposit.

Could you email the TXID and your Weaver username to contact@silknetwork.org

Sent him an e-mail but never got a response, still no SILK.  I guess I missed out on the ICO then.  Sucks Sad

Did you end up being credited your SLK that you sent over for the ICO?   Mine still don't show up on weaver after two days.    On the blockchain, it shows them as received and also withdrawn by someone shortly after the ICO ended.  Huh
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 25, 2016, 04:52:13 AM
Patience guys! Even if 44k buyers lost about 50% of their investment value. Grin

Honestly, I was about to invest in this, but did my research and realized 1) AMPs are already 50x what they were in their initial ICO and 2) the exchanges always had AMPs cheaper than investing directly in the ICO.   Even if you wanted to participate in the ICO, it was always better to buy directly on the exchange. Why people would directly invest in the ICO beats me.  The whole concept of multiple ICOs doesn't even make sense (other than to psychologically hype the price).  If the project is good enough, the price itself will rise based on demand.  The coin looks like its on a downhill trend, potentially as a market correction.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: October 25, 2016, 02:38:54 AM
Any updates so far?

I still haven't seen my SLK ICO wallet update with the coins that I sent across and the address on the blockchain shows the coins were withdrawn from the wallet which I'm assuming is a result of the ICO closing but can't be too sure.   I'm starting to worry now.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silk Network: Silk(SLK), DarkSilk(DSLK) and Weaver on: October 24, 2016, 05:15:01 AM
The ICO is now over.

Thank you to all of those that participated.

The Silk(SLK) sent to those ICO addresses that were done prior to midnight (BST) will be included and counted.

The total invested is 77.48475115BTC and 5,032,341.08914499SLK.

Many thanks to those that participated, now the hard work continues.

I still don't see the SLK I sent over to my SLK ICO address in Weaver.  But when I put in the SLK ICO address in the blockchain explorer, it shows the transaction but also shows a withdrawal of almost the whole amount with a very small balance left.  Is this part of the process since the ICO ended or did someone steal the SLK I sent over to that wallet?  Sorry if I'm being a little paranoid, but just want to make sure everything is OK.
