201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 5 of tokens in 2018. Your opinion on: August 17, 2018, 12:14:10 PM
As we're launching our own token called TUT (you can see more info here: www.tutellus.io) and also in our bounty program here (http://2tel.us/2kSIYoV)

What FIVE tokens do you think will be the most valuable at the end of the year?
Let's go!

For me I would pick the following coins
ADA
NEO
Dash
EOS
NANO
They are the coins that I believe in the most to do very well in the future. They have good projects, good communities, good team behind it and as the market grows so will the coins grow.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your strategy for hodling or selling? on: August 16, 2018, 09:48:06 AM
While this might seem like something very intuitive, it is in fact one of the most difficult things I have noticed in the crypto world. When should I sell and when should I buy for maximum profit and minimum loss? After a lot of mishaps in this space, I have come to understand that a system, strictly followed is the key.

My own system is very simple. It doesnt matter when I buy, I could buy at an ATH or midway between an ATH and an ATL; but for the sake of security I would always sell at an ATH. This system assumes there would always be a correction following an ATH, sometimes a very damaging correction that it becomes a perceived market crash. No matter when I buy, provided I don't run into some life threatening issue, I believe there would always be a new ATH, so I wait, and I sell immediately that ATH comes. The I sit back and watch the greed and FOMO take over, wait for the correction, then buy again. Rinse and repeat. The only constant that this formula relies on is that there would always be a new ATH. So far this fact is yet to be disputed.

What is your system?

Mine is similar to yours, though we all want to buy the bottom there is always the fact that we cannot predict for sure how the market is going to turn out so that way it is best to just hold through it all. When I buy the coins,I buy them with the mindset that I am not selling off any of it until I see another all time high of the coins, that is only when I sell.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you care about product? on: August 16, 2018, 09:41:25 AM
I do care about the product because the product is what will determine if the project will last for a lot longer than everyone else expected it to do. If you are planning to invest in a coin for the long term then the product is what will determine if it a good option. I plan on using the products of the project which I am putting my money in, that way I know my money is safe.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: August 16, 2018, 09:02:31 AM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

I do not trust ICO rating websites simply because of this, people are corrupt and they will take money from people and give good reviews to bad projects thereby allowing the scammers to get more people to invest in their shit coins and then scamming them out of all of their money. The best way for me is to just do your own research.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are you still believe in ico's?? on: August 15, 2018, 12:32:46 PM
I still believe in them, the market may be saturated with scam coins now but that does not mean that  ICOs are not a good way for you to make money. So far using a lot of people have made money from investing in icos that went on to do well. The only problem now is that it just takes a longer time to  research the coins and find out which ones are good.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: August 15, 2018, 12:00:01 PM
Bitcoin breaks $8,000 and still increases every hour. The whole market, altcoins are also  green and solid growth. This is the best new today for crypto enthusiastic. I think that the Bull Market has come. What do you think?

There is no bull market in sight now, the coins are doing way too bad for us to say we might be going into a bull market. Maybe in a couple of months during the end of the year we might be seeing another bull market but for now we are in a bear market proper which would most likely last a while before it passes. Maybe we can see another recovery soon.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: God save Crypto on: August 14, 2018, 11:51:12 AM
How would you explain the current fall in price of cryptos.
There are no news of crypto banning or confiscation. So what is the reason for it?
Did we wanted more than we needed?
Is our greed killing crypto and blockchain technology in whole?

I would say that the current price is as a result of dumping. Way too many people are dumping their coins and the market cap has fallen very low which means that there is no way that the coins can go up at this point. There is no fud and there is no bans like you said, just that as long as people keep dumping their coins then the price will keep going down.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Negative Mind Will Never Give You A Positive Life on: August 14, 2018, 11:41:15 AM
I say this too, If you are always thinking about the negative then that is the only thing that will come your way. instead of focusing on the negative, focus on the positive, that will help you to ground yourself better and make better decisions concerning your investments. Don't look at the negatives in cryptos at this point, just focus on the positive.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Value of investments decrease on: August 14, 2018, 11:30:16 AM
The value I saw in my investments this morning got me thinking "do I continue with crypto or just quit?". Honestly am greatly concerned.

This is the time where you have to make your decision about getting out or seeing it through. At this point we are into the bear market proper which means that no matter how much we want the price to go up, the price of the coins is just going to keep dropping for a long time. If you want to get out then you should do it now but i would advise you to wait it out and see this through.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy Bitcoin with alts! on: August 13, 2018, 10:36:01 AM
It seems many people are speculating the rise of BTC and therefore are transfering value from alts to BTC. But if you want BTC, buy it with FIAT! Fresh new funds are needed on the market! You are dumping alts making prices dump hard and maybe are speculating you will be able to buy more of the alts later on, but what idiot will selll it to you at that dumped price?? So if you want BTC, buy it with FIAT or at least don't expect to buy back more of the alts for cheap!

I don't see why anyone would want to use alts to buy bitcoin, you are just not getting enough value for your coins if you are doing that. If anything what you should be doing is converting bitcoin to the altcoins that you believe will end up doing good. You are right, it is better for you to buy the altcoins with fiat and later convert it to btc to cash out.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My wife tell me that i should sell all of it. on: August 13, 2018, 10:22:47 AM
The thing is that you waited too long now you have almost seen the worst of it so there is no reason for you to be selling off your coins now. You should explain to your wife how the market works, make her understand that the bull market that we are in now is just temporary and that you stand to make a lot more money if you wait and hold.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Alt teams have abondened their projects! on: August 08, 2018, 07:09:27 PM
You must be joking if you think that the only project legitimate in the Crypto market is Cardano. Have you heard about Ethereum, IOTA or many such projects. I'm pretty sure you are going to end up regretting your decision few months down the line of only investing in one currency.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: August 08, 2018, 07:01:29 PM
It really depends on which cryptocurrencies you have invested in. There's a reason why everyone says to only invest what you could afford to lose. There are many factors which could lead a coin to drop in price and you can never be sure about anything.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe? on: August 07, 2018, 04:51:51 PM
I don't know what makes you think that keeping your coins on exchange wallets is going to be less risky than keeping them in your wallet. Do you know how vulnerable exchanges are to hacking. Storing you coins in your wallets is any time going to be better than keeping them on exchanges.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Cryptocurrencies For Trading In 2018!!! on: August 07, 2018, 04:49:29 PM
2018 has turned out to be a bear year and I would strongly recommend you to not trade during a bear period. As unless you are a very experienced trader you are going to end up losing all your money. You should rather just buy the dips and try to daily cost average.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll reveals 2% of American investors own Bitcoin on: August 02, 2018, 05:51:05 PM
If just 2% adoption could do this to the Bitcoin price then think of what a 10% adoption rate would do. And in this 2% too I think that very less people own a substantial amount. There is still too much room left for Bitcoin to grow and there is nothing stopping it from achieving it.
217  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: August 02, 2018, 05:49:43 PM
For cryptocurrencies to start making a difference in this world there would need to be its adoption first. We are slowly reaching a good adoption rate. Once cryptocurrencies would be easily accessible to people all over the world people are going to get its benefits.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market corrections are good on: August 02, 2018, 05:48:48 PM
Market corrections are definitely good for the crypto markets as it weeds out the weak hands, panic sellers and those who are here for getting rich quick and only the people with strong hands who have belief in the crypto markets stay. Also the price just going up wouldn't be possible and the market needs correction.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is a virtue but how much patience do you have? on: August 02, 2018, 05:41:47 PM
As someone who will be going through a 2nd bear cycle I've got all the patience in the world. The market wasn't able to make me panic sell the first time and I'm sure it isn't going to happen this time too. It all comes down to if you have belief in the project you are invested in or not.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet? on: August 02, 2018, 05:35:50 PM
Obviously you can lose your coins for trusting a new wallet which doesn't have any previous track record. There could be a hundred problems with the wallet and you wouldn't know. Also the wallet would most likely still be in the beta phase. That's why I would try to avoid new wallets.
