201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reporting Scam Project ETU (Ether Universe) and IDCM exchange. on: August 18, 2018, 01:32:02 AM

Reporting Scam Project ETU (Ether Universe) and IDCM exchange.

First of all, I gonna talking about ETU and what scam they did to the community that supported them from the first day.  ETU is a project of cross-chain 3.0 network that launch ICO and and raised a large amount of investment with a huge community of 160k members. Without the huge support of community they would never have successful ICO like that.  To get support from us, they give us 2 airdrop campains. The first airdrop finish before 1st April that give each member 8888 etu and 8888 each referals. The distribution will be 1st April but they delayed it to end of April but when the time come they continue delayed it to end of May. But untill July there is no ETU distributed to community.
From July they have a new airdrop campain with 888 ETU for each airdrop and 888 ETU for each referal, we continue supporting them even they haven't distributed the airdrop 1. From that they force us to register on and KYC a new exchange call IDCM, both projects come from China. We refused and suggest them to send us the token directly to our private address but they rejected our request hardly. They said we have to KYC on that strange and unsafe exchange or we have to forget our token. Deadline to distributed is 27th July for both airdrop 1 and airdrop 2. The problem is ETU confirm that ETU have no partnership with IDCM and we have to KYC for 8888ETU (about 5$) when withdraw fee is 2500ETU (LOL). And when we as IDCM about "do IDCM related about airdrop of ETU? or not?" they refused to confirm or didn't give us any announcement about that problem. IDCM try to make us confuse between distribution of ETU airdrop and Register IDCM reward (288etu).
BUT WE DID ALL OF THAT REQUIREMENT.
But 27th July, they continue delay it to 1st August. On 1st August they continue delaying to 6th August. On 6th August, they send us 288 ETU of register reward (which doen't worth a cent because minimum trade is 1000 ETH and withdraw fee is 2500 ETU). ETU said they will distribute airdrops after 15th August when ETU is listed on IDCM meanwhile IDCM keep silent weirdly. Today is 16th August, ETU is listed on IDCM but no airdrop is distributed.
We asking for a explaination but ETU refuse to give us answer or distribute airdrop. Only Bot automatically answer us in common information. Meanwhile IDCM exchange officially have an annoucement that IDCM is not related to ETU distribution after the community asking too much.

The problem is ETU betrayes our trust and selling our information to a strange and unsafe exchange. We help them grow bussiness but they broke their promises time after time. And IDCM support ETU and help them hinding the information from community. Both project come from China and if only fools beleive that they have no partnership.

I wrote this article to share about this scam of 2 projects ETU and IDCM exchange. Hope you guy don'tinvest on ETU trading or join IDCM ICO or IDCM trading untill they have a solution for this mess. Please share this message till ETU and IDCM distribute airdrop or IDCM DELIST ETU...

*Note: in July, ETU have annoucement that they will be listed on FCOIN on 1st August and their is a bonus 5% for depositing on Fcoin. But Fcoin confirm that there is no listing ETU and no Bonus deposit campain on Fcoin as ETU said. And now there is still a problem to withdraw ETU from Fcoin.

I have been retricted from writing on etu group. Let us share this message to community and media as bitcointalk

update: ETU distributed everyone 8888ETU BUT the referals is have to KYC also on IDCM. The problem is from the begining of airdrop there is no requirement such as airdroper have to KYC or referals have to KYC... Meanwhile when starting airdrop they promise they will give everyone email when distribution BUT there is no email. That is why after 5 months waiting airdrop almost community don't know about distribution or KYC... The result is airdropers will only get their 8888 etu (1.5$ for now) and no referals be count. the community is angry right now because there no such a rule like that before airdrop and they can not control if their referals KYC or not.
And ETU decide that kind of referals are Zombies... LOL From now a human can be zombie not because of virus but NOT KYC instead Smiley)))))))))))))

Airdrop Roadmap of Delay progress: 1st april- may- 27july register and  kyc idcm- 1st august-6th august- 15th augaust- after september....more

8888 ETU is almost worthless as it comes. $1.5 is almost negligible me, and personally I've decided to call their bluffs. It's sad how these guys perfect scams, use the community to achieve publicity and their selfish aim only to be left in the cold.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if cryptocurrency market is not also good in 2019? on: August 17, 2018, 11:08:54 PM
I personally like to take it once step at a time. The crypto market wasn't fantastic in 2016 and then it's imploded in 2017, alts seeing their ATHs. So I'd rather you focus on surviving 2018 and the current bearish market condition.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many airdrop programs? on: August 16, 2018, 09:33:47 PM
Airdrops are an integral part of the of the promotion of an ICO. In order to create more hype and build a community around a project, it's important for the team to give of it's tokens out for free, I mean who doesn't like freebies?

However, a lot of these airdrops are scams as they come, you end up wasting time with them, accumulate tokens that are not of any value because the team have no plans of actually pursuing the course of the project.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How "certain" is the road back to ATH? on: August 16, 2018, 02:27:19 PM
The road to ATH for BTC and most alts is very long and it's quite uncertain how long it will take before it gets back to normalcy. The bleeding this year has been severe and it only goes to show that the bull run in 2017 was sort of an overdraft
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Of The ICO Telegram Group Has Fake Inactive Members on: August 16, 2018, 12:42:41 PM
This is the norm with ICO telegram groups and it's really heart wrenching to find out that more than half of the members on the group are either bots or people added with their consent and they end up being inactive on the group. I had such experience with JET8 ICO. When we later found out that the bloated telegram numbers were not real. The project is almost dead now and losses were incurred.

SO, DON'T FALL THE HIGH TELEGRAM NUMBERS!
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: August 15, 2018, 11:53:47 PM
Every year the amount of ETH in supply increases. But it's certainly not the reason it should go down to $50. That's very unlikely in my honest opinion. In a bearish market, one can't tell how much a coin can dip, but ETH won't see $50
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Neo go to 10USD on: August 14, 2018, 01:46:54 PM
There's possibility for everything but $10 for NEO is highly unlikely at current moment as it's already in it's one of the lowest price in years.
For it to go around $10 bitcoin need to go below $2K. But this wave of depression is already matured and we are on brink of a rise.

This is a very matured comment. People forget that alts responding to the decline in the price of BTC. Yesterday, ETH plummeted in price and this affected a large percentage of ETH-based tokens adversely. NEO like every alt out there is grossly oversold, and going down to $10 is very unlikely unless the price of bitcoin dips even harder.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth falls on: August 14, 2018, 03:00:57 AM
ETH fell and other alts responded swiftly to the fall. Some (shitcoins) might not recover from the fall from the look of things. For me, ETH is still a good coin, for sure it will bounce back. Stack up as much as you can in readiness for the bull run.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmex Tips - How to not lose your house and maybe even make some money on: August 13, 2018, 06:36:04 PM
Heard a lot about Bitmex and how it has rekt a lot of people and made a few rich equally. I don't seem to understand what it is all about, especially shorting and going long. I need to sit it out and get a hang of it
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Bitcoin market manipulators crash the market? on: August 12, 2018, 09:49:23 AM
Manipulations happen in almost every market. But the manipulation in the crypto market is even more pronounced because the market is unregulated. The market cannot crash because of manipulators, but it will end up making potential investors lose confidence in the market, consequently, no injection of fresh funds.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Bitcoin market manipulators crash the market? on: August 12, 2018, 08:28:02 AM
I think the current crash in the market is a product of manipulation. These guys in congress have a way of spreading FUD which the crypto community will always respond to negatively, resulting in massive sell off.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Referrals, Bounties, & Giveaways ... What interests you? on: August 11, 2018, 01:04:06 PM
Bounties for me are the best, especially for those that make you learn a thing or two or research about the project in the course of the program. Bounties are like a job, you have to put in your time to earn.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 11, 2018, 12:55:17 PM
For me it's actually Bitcoin, Ethereum and others. These are the levels for me. Sadly, the crypto space is replete with the '7th and 8th levels'
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: August 11, 2018, 12:04:35 PM
I know a lot has been said already by noobs and the experts alike. But first things first, FOMOing in the crypto world is a terrible thing to do, because 95% of the time, you get burnt, sometimes very badly. NEVER FOMO!!! Never join a train that has taken off!! I'll advise you hodl through. The crypto world is very unpredictable, the market could just bounce back in a very short while, and you recover your losses.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / HOW TO MAKE ICO's PROFITABLE AGAIN on: August 10, 2018, 11:47:54 AM
Lately, we've seen that investing in crowdsales are no longer profitable due to ICO's favouring VCs and private investors. These set of investors receive heavy bonuses with almost no lock up periods at all. Consequently, they dump these tokens at listing on exchanges and crash the prices below the ICO price, resulting in big losses for smaller investors. As a result, it's difficult to make 5x - 10x from ICO price anymore.

As an investor, one of the best ways to curb this and make ICO's more profitable again is to focus on crowdsales. You have to make a conscious decision to invest in only projects with good lock up periods for VC's and private investors. These lock up periods is what guarantees that the guys with big bonuses don't dump on us. A project with good and experienced team, working product, good token metrics, use case, and considerable lock up periods for VCs and private investor should ordinarily do well in the market.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is dead. Prove me wrong. (DIECI destroys ETH) on: August 10, 2018, 11:31:46 AM
Never heard of the Dieci project until now. I have checked out their website and I'll continue on my research about their use case and see what chances they have at annihilating ETH
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA CTR SCAM - Founders Arrested on: August 09, 2018, 09:10:16 PM
It is very insulting when the invested money disappears. I invested in this project quite a bit, only 50 dollars, but still insulting

I'm glad I sold my coins which I got for free at the time. This was long before they were busted.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA CTR SCAM - Founders Arrested on: August 09, 2018, 09:08:31 PM
Here's an active development, the founders are back with a new shady project created to make you lose money:

PHANTOM – Scalable, Interoperable, Private Smart Contracts ran by centra tech

This is why the cryptospace is the wild wild west. Imagine fraudsters coming trying to rebrand and reenter the space with another shady project. With such bad reputation, people should blacklist them and stay away
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MVP vs. POC: A ICO, Startup Launch Strategy Guide on: August 09, 2018, 07:00:07 PM
This is a great read and an important guide for ICO start ups. Like you've stated, one births the other, the proof of concept gives birth to an MVP. Therefore, the POC has to be well articulated and the product of a well thought out process.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the right time to buy & sell the cryptocurrency? on: August 09, 2018, 10:06:43 AM
Ideally, the right time to buy cryptocrurrencies is when the prices are down and then sell when the prices rise. Never do a mistake to buy when the price has rallied or already taken off, that's FOMO and you get dumped on, forcing you to hodl for longer time
