The Mooncoin price is around 1 Satoshi now. If some whales don't dump, it could be listed at Bittrex (they have only BTC markets and promised some time ago to one our member to list MOON when it reaches BTC markets), yesterday MOON did it. There are no amateurs these days, only wise crowds, who buy only top coins together with 'smart money', or maybe make their own coin with a crowdsale. The actual supply is 221 billion, and only 1.5-2 milllion (not billion!) are mined each day.
Doge has a 109+ billion and an unlimited supply, Ripple - 38 billion, Bytecoin - 182+billion and they are successful.
It's not the supply what matters apart from that more coins better fit long-term perspectives (there are several billion of people in this world).
It doesn't matter whether you own 1 coin or 1 billion, it matters how much you invested (a BTC or fiat equivalent).
Also a half of MOON supply is unspendable, top addresses which you see in block explorers are unspendable.
So Mooncoin's real market cap now is below $1 million.

A lot of pools support Scrypt, but not Argon2. Currently Mooncoin works great, only no listing at big exchanges.
Probably a person who will buy this BTC wall also will have money to pay for Mooncoin listing at large exchanges.
Argon2 or not, Mooncoin still works fine and keeps getting better. Thanks for letting me know about this. It would be best for MOON to stay in an algorithm which is fully supported like Scrypt. We do really need big exchanges to increase trading volume for MOON, but unfortunately there are some of these exchanges which are greedy like Bittrex which demands a high fee to list a coin there. Perhaps, if Mooncoin could get listed at Poloniex or even Cryptopia, it would be great. Someone wealthy enough might help Moon to get listed, like you said. It would only be a matter of time and patience, to see good results for Mooncoin. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward for more exciting updates. I'm not sure if MOON has implemented SegWit into its code yet, but it would be cool to have it, as well as get the acceptance from the miners to make MOON better than ever. Just my thoughts. Cryptopia has delisted us by someone's fault. I can no longer pay to list in , and then to be delisted by the whims of one weighing across all the community. |

Are you sure it was a wallet itself which didn't work, or consensus issues with its network (when some people hadn't updated a client) or wrong settings etc?
Have you made it work finally (with another dev?)
We had no clue what was wrong with it and Barry was gone so it couldn't be taken care of. We didn't have all the time in the world to sit around and just wait for someone to do what they said they could do a month prior, Barry knew this full well from before. After a week of nothing from Barry I hired someone who actually did what was asked but only in 4 days. The new version of HYPER is based off of Blackcoin PoS3 and is functioning properly. The other people I hired did what they said they would do and delivered it on the day they said it would be ready. I've disabled the Mooncoin faucet that I have had running for 4+ years as well as removed Mooncoin from my upcoming game. My support for MOON has come to its end.
