I am a DeepOnion fan from China by using the wallet from http://onionwallet.org/. I checked my status today and found that I was blacklisted as a result of the hacking of http://onionwallet.org/. I did nothing to my online wallet and everything is good the last time I checked it. There are lots of Chinese users of http://onionwallet.org/ because of the local wallet issue in China. Now all of their coins have gone and their wallet addresses are blacklisted. In a local Chinese DeepOnion fan group people are crying. We know that you have a really dedicated dev team to the community. Please help us solve those troubles or give some advice. You moved all your coins away from the address and apparently send to exchange and dumped them. In my opinion NO exchange is better than Novaexchange. We might as well wait til it's picked up by Polo, Bittrex or Liquio instead of some garage shop with horrible volume and security. There is also a point to letting a project mature before rushing to the market with a crap price on an alpha product.

Hello crypto-rainbow I agree with this viewpoint wholeheartedly and would rather not see DeepOnion trading at Yobit or NovaExchange. This would have the effect of building a myopic short termi-biased shareholder base and I do not believe it would be conducive to long term price appreciation of the ONION tokens. I would rather wait until ONION could be added to Cryptopia, Poloniex or Bittrex. IMHO now is the time to build a base of committed advocates and share holders that not only wear signatures, but also contribute computing power to the network. Deep Onion is the first crypto coin I have ever PoS staked with capital. I feel its a promising investment and look further to further growth of the platform. You are right, but there are people here just want to get free coins, they don't want to participate, they want to dump and take profit. This is OK and I am sure dev team is aware of it, that's why they put 10% rule in the airdrop. And I saw that dev announced that they will increase payout share to those who contributed to the community, which is a great move. Hope more and more dev will distribute the coins to those who care about the coin and community, this way the community and coin can develop in a healthy way and for longer term. |

We have distributed 3 rounds so far.
We have had some wonderful supporters, we also have seen some fudders and haters.
To make our community better, and to encourage helps from community, we decided to make the following changes in the distribution formula.
Airdrop Amount = (Total coins to be distributed) * factor / sum(factor number_of_member_type)
factor = ranking_factor * community_factor
community_factor default is 1, and dev team may assign higher (2 for double) the factor to certain members, who significantly helped this community.
All the members are encouraged to suggest to dev team (PM please) if you see people significantly helped the community.

I like the idea and especially the upvoting part of it. Again in the direction of motivating people to trully bring out the best, and continue developing the community and the project. i'm gonna be one of those who will significantly participate to earn that reward! Yes this is a great idea. The success of a coin depends on two factors: community and dev, we have both here. The community is those who actively supports the coin, they are the core and they should be paid more. |

It seems that the miners can't agree which way to go - wait long enough to trigger further difficulty reductions - or just sabotage this (by inserting empty blocks minutes before the trigger) - to kill BCH/BCC.
Without a higher block frequency you wont ever get a stable network - so that there wasn't an easier way for re-targetting from the beginning of the fork seems a major oversight. It shows the dependency of BTC et all from large commercial mining pools, - a form of centralization...
The way will get clearer within a few days - if a week after the fork, BCC is again above Ripple in Marketcap, and has a stable network with sufficient blocks - the way up to the moon is open. If later on the Bitcoin Core / Segwitt supporters have a second fallout - BCC could emerge as the REAL Bitcoin by the end of the year.
OTOH - if it's below or around Litecoin, and the network is still slow - and will get worse if there is not a difficulty adjustment just in time - BCC will be on it's way to oblivion. In that case it will not have any advantages over LTC and a few others, but will have lost the goodwill brought by the BTC-Name. So it will then fall out of the top10 marketcap very soon, with the network still instable - and with high difficulty and low price likely to get worse - transfers are still difficult, exchanges remain isolated islands, and will eventually de-list. In that case, the BCC price will be far below $1 at the end of the year...
I am getting confused with BCC diff. If the trigger is not set off, then when BCC's diff will be re-targeted? |

I've read all the scam accusations too this evening and I personally vouch for the stop staking option. Please stop staking the premine. And thanks for distributing those additional stakes in this week's airdrop.  We as a community would like to stake our coins too. This is not possible if the large premine addresses are staking. I don't see anything is wrong there. Dev said that the staked coins will be used for bounties etc, rainbow even talked about a possible 41st round of airdrop. Man, be generous, you know how much work dev did for the community? He did not even take anything and some people just worried about he or they take more. Come on, you guys get the coins free, free. What's the complaint? |

So, it's completely out of the question to think that an internal team that created this coin kept a small number for themselves, and dispersed? They never said they weren't keeping a certain amount for themselves. To go from rational thought (above) to conspiracy theory (link you posted) is a set of mental gymnastics I'm not willing to make. What do people honestly expect from them? Transparency and privacy don't run hand in hand. I wouldn't want anyone knowing who I was or what my wallet address was if I was part of a team responsible for bringing a privacy coin to the market. It is not hard for me to understand why they would keep quiet about certain aspects of team size and payment breakdown. And also.. To people saying "be careful". Of what exactly? Losing money on the free coin I was given via airdrop?  When someone can explain to me how I can lose money on a coin I spent no money on, I'll start "being careful" you have free coins lucky you!! I bought them and spent their time on the extraction!! and I'm interested in the fate of this project!! I don't want to exit on a stock exchange merged!! therefore, to ask such questions!! and conspiracy here or what not !!! you have a distorted way of thinking!! lol, extraction from where? from solaris? lmao. if you are really interested in the coin, you would participate in the free airdrop, it gives you a lot more than "extraction".
