201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What caused all the price drops? on: September 05, 2018, 03:32:50 PM
Almost all the altcoins (and bitcoin too) went down alot yesterday. Does anybody have a clue what caused this major drop?
It seems to me, in many respects, this situation is due to quite logical correction of the market. After all, BTC and altcoins have reached their maximum for a certain period. After that, the market stabilization began. But now the time comes again when prices should begin to rise in price - a normal dynamics for any market.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: September 05, 2018, 03:32:13 PM
the current crypto market is so weak, there is no increase in the price of crypto, even the price of crypto is getting down, what should we do when the market weaken at this time?
No need to panic in this situation, personally, I'm sure of the great prospects of the crypto market in the market. Indeed, any market sometimes encounters periodic fluctuations and downsides, but the crypto market always recovers its position. Therefore, now you just need to keep calm and hold your tokens for the future.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ready to bounce back? on: September 04, 2018, 06:17:23 PM
Yes, I believe that now Eth can gradually recover its steady growth. There are all prerequisites for the gradual recovery of prices, and I expect the main growth from the middle of next year. Therefore, now is a great time to buy ETH, while the price remains low and did not start to recover.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget the past and move ahead on: September 04, 2018, 06:17:01 PM
Everything in life has past, present and future. Some of those who invested into some coins while their prices were higher, should try as much as possible not to dwell much on it, because if we continue to bother ourselves about the past loss, we will not be able to see the opportunities ahead.
The crypto space is full of opportunities, learn to find those alternative opportunities of earning tokens and explore.
That which you think might be a loss at this time, can give you huge profit later on in future.
I believe that past experience and knowledge are really important. Therefore, it is not necessary to forget about them in any case. But in the future it is necessary to look with optimism. Of course, you must forget the former fear of losing money and mistaken, but you do not need to forget the lessons learned and skills when working on the market crypto.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or Bitcoin on: September 04, 2018, 06:16:14 PM
Could Ripple XRP replace bitcoin before it is widely accepted?
If ripple allows users to send money instantly and almost fee free, with a pretty and easy to use UI.
Plenty of money to burn on advertising and reputation building.
Business and Financial connections likely to get them accepted on large merchant sites.
Why would the average person have any interest in Bitcoin?

More important could Ripple become controlled by business or government?

I'm not suggesting any of this is fact.
Just wanna hear the opinions of people that actually know stuff.
I read detailed information about Ripple in the forums, I studied the opinions of the experts. I think that he has important advantages. Including well-established effective relations with banks, it is possible to bring the security of transactions to a new level. But BTC also remains an attractive investment option.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are STUPID on: September 04, 2018, 06:15:44 PM
What's the point in distributing 2% towards bounties??

Those people will flip the tokens as soon as they get them, and it's usually much less people than it looks like due to multi-account.

Also the quality of the post is very low even for hero and "legendary" members.

If I had a coin I would never ever distribute part of the tokens towards bounties; I'd see that as a kick in the nuts to legit ICO participants.
At first, the rewards really do not seem so big, but you need to understand that not all bounties work like this. Most likely you just have no luck, because this can earn a lot in fact
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: September 04, 2018, 06:15:10 PM
In any case, now you need to keep calm. Personally, I believe in the excellent potential of the crypto market. It's enough to simply turn to the story - in 2013 and 2015, too, there was a similar situation. But over time, the market regained its position and brought significant profits to investors.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: today the crypto market is starting to rise again on: September 04, 2018, 06:14:48 PM
today on 04-06-2018, its price crypto market has gone up again, which I want to ask, is it right now to buy coins for investment? please give me your answer
You need to invest when the growth is still small and the prices are small. This is the best solution for your wallet in my opinion
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of altcoin down? on: September 04, 2018, 06:14:17 PM
give your opinion why altcoin cheap price?
is it time for us to buy altcoin?
why every mid year altcoin is always cheap.
I believe that the price of most of the altcoins on the market directly depends on the status and cost of the BTC. The stronger the BTC falls, the more altcoins are lowered. Therefore, now you just need to be patient and wait for the BTC to be restored - I'm sure that there are all the chances for this
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should buy altcoin now? on: September 04, 2018, 06:13:52 PM
For me, this fall is just like a big payday. Buy everything you want at the lowest prices, I do not know how you can miss this chance
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world? on: September 03, 2018, 06:41:46 AM
I would like to say a word or two about getting rich fast:

Im since more than 20 years in business and over this time I passed many ups and downs in various branches. It does not mater in which branch you try to make a profit, but you need to be aware of that get rich fast schemes are mostly scam or will bring a very bitter taste at the end with it.

Do not let yourself be fooled about something to be FREE or promising you will earn in no time xxx of money. This is most likely not going to happen! And Even if it does in the one or other case, I saw some people getting rich fast and ending up with big depth, because none of them had experience with the problems coming up with getting rich quick and what it actually means to make a lot of money in short time and how it will influence the life as you knew it.

I can tell that the average person that got "rich" needed at least 2 - 5 years to become it and it allays was hard work not playing lotto and hope for the win.

*************************************************************************************************************************************************

- If you have you own crypto project or planning to make one, do not let yourself and others be fooled to get rich fast!

- If you invest in an ico, do not be driven by greed, see it as a business opportunity that could bring you a nice profit over time (if no scam ofc )

- If you trade BTC or alt coins, do not join pump and dump coins, too many traders lost enough money by doing so. Not that it is not possible to make fast money, but the greed will drive you so far that you will loose your objective, analytic thinking and will let you take bigger and bigger risks!

*************************************************************************************************************************************************

What ever you do, aiming for the steady long term profit is most of the time the harder and longer way, but it will be less painful!

Here is a thread that might be an interested read about alt coin trading! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2154746

I believe that it is not necessary to go to the market crypto only for this purpose to get rich. After all, in fact, this is the way to nowhere - you just lose your time and money. The crypto market needs to come to learn and improve their knowledge. If you just want to get rich quickly, you're unlikely to be able to achieve the desired success.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: September 03, 2018, 06:41:02 AM
Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins
Yes, I believe that the crypto market will further develop, with the advent and improvement of many sought after altcoins. Of course, not all coins will survive on the market, and bad altcoins will periodically appear. This is a perfectly normal situation for the market, so you need to carefully select the right project.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did I get to the crypto world. on: September 03, 2018, 06:40:12 AM
My day started as always: waking up, breakfast and work. No signs of trouble, sitting working on the computer, cruising in the world’s net. A cup of freshly brewed coffee was expecting me, as you know nothing will invigorate you as much as this magical drink.
My co-worker stoped by and accidentally I found myself talking to him about crypto currency. I didn’t know anything about it back then, he said that he made 0.8 bitcoins in a year by investing 3055 USD and by buying asics. I took it very skeptically, but looked at the currency and realized that it’s about 6111 USD. Bitcoin didn’t make much sense to me back then, so I thought like “yeah good luck fella!”.  Although something clicked in the back of my mind - I really wanted to become rich!!! But everything didn’t start right away. I came down a little, I thought that it might be sort of a trick. After a while my bro came to visit me. He bought a new phone and expensive watch, you could’ve seen he made the $ himself, he had that “fire” in his eyes. And it all started from there, I found out about “bounty”, “ bitcoin talk” etc. I started to do everything to become a Jr. Member. All that time I wanted to participate in Bitcointalk Signatures. I was counting down days, hours, minutes, even seconds.. I found out about airdrop tokens at the forum, so I was participating there. I saw myself a millionaire next week, filled out bunch of forms, registered on Twitter and FB, started to be active on the social networks. After couple of months my expectations wasn’t met but I didn’t give up. And finally I became a Jr. Member, my first subscription Bitcointalk Signatures., waiting for the “bounty”, payments to finish, I guess everyone went through that. But after all that struggle I didn’t get rich. I figured that in a month I made approximately 0.1 Ethereum, which is like 39,72 USD. Although it’s not bad but it’s far from becoming a millionaire. The question was how to get Merit, since I’m a new member, I couldn’t write something smart and useful right away, was trying to respond with jokes, was writing something that I found in google but still I didn’t get any Merit. I started checking out the forum, found the topic - « Easy and legal way to get Merit », was learning the rules of the forum, was looking for the subjects that are breaking down the rules of the forum or published in a wrong section and reporting them. But my expectations wasn’t met and I still didn’t get any Merit. I started to freak out, I’m not asking for much, just a little. Of course I understand that you can’t get all at once, you need time, effort, perseverance, work, but you want it all at once, right?!
This is my story, I hope that it will be useful for someone and wish I could read your stories how did you become a part of the crypto world. Thank you all, good luck to everyone and I wish all your dreams to come true.

I think that many people started working with cryptocurrencies just as you started doing it. I am very glad that you got it exactly
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: September 03, 2018, 06:39:47 AM
People always greed.
Yes, I am one of them.
Recently, i lost some of my bitcon because i want more instead of holding bitcoin. so i buy altcoin but not top 10 altcoin.
Would you like to share your experience?
Beside, i know that airdrop is good way to gain profit.
What do you think DeepOnion airdrop? It seems that they got a very good community.

It is not so easy to get a large profit. You need a long time to study the cryptocurrency and all that is connected with them and only then you will succeed perfectly
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to buy an apartment using altcoin on: September 03, 2018, 06:39:17 AM
Hi Guys,

Which countries/islands allows people to buy real estate/land using alt coins?

It sounds like a fairy tale to me. I do not think that it is worth looking for such a country, it does not exist in our world yet
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: September 03, 2018, 06:38:31 AM
This is the Strategy I was following in crypto. This is the example.

buy coin 300A @1.00 = 300

Sell 150 @2.00 (Now you covered your initial investment(Excluding fee))
Sell 50 @3.00 = 150
Sell 50 @4.00 = 200
Keep remaining 50 for long term( If market is crashing you have to sell this proton immediately).

But this method can't apply if the market crash before it reaching to 2x. I would like to know the approaches/Strategies you are following and drawbacks of this method.
Yes, I met different strategies with which the participants and market experts work. But personally, I think that it is necessary to act according to the situation, depending on the current situation on the market, and not to look for some kind of universal strategy for all cases.

Yes, I find Stratis today one of the most successful and topical Blockchain-based platforms with excellent potential for development in the modern financial sector. I now see the undoubted benefits of Blockchain technology and the prospects for further development of the platform. Therefore, I can safely say about the excellent potential of Stratis for long-term investments.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BYTOM: An interoperational protocol for diversified byte assets on: September 07, 2017, 08:13:18 AM
bytom will refund the remaining tokens on the exchange as stated by the PBoC ?

I've been reading all the BTM threads I can find in several different forums and am now even more confused. I bought about 1 ETH (1700) BTM on Aug 11 off Binance. My standard jump in.

Does anyone know if they have said they will refund the original purchase (of 1 ETH) or another preset amount or nothing?

Binance hasn't said much. BTM is completely shut down but I still haven't decided if I'm HODL or letting go. The second I move the coins it's HODL but it's difficult to make a decision without knowing the other option.  Huh

refund info for ICO participants:

1 BTC = 75000 BTM

1 ETH = 10900 BTM

1 ETC = 610 BTM

per this:  http://8btc.com/thread-72384-1-1.html

Better off just holding. NEO (then Antshares) offered ICO refund also back in 2016. I'm bias because I bought a ton right before binance announced they were halting Bytom trading.
