PS: Looks like it might be 4 weeks exactly from when you get some coins in your wallet that the coins start to generate?

When the N value goes up the amount of hash goes down by ~ 50%. That's why people aren't seeing the hash rate they WERE mining with a few weeks ago.

In my opinion the N value went up way too fast too soon. We should be a year from now or so at todays N value (1024).

On the bright side not many coins are being made now which should make the price go higher.

As more time passes the the N keeps going up and every time the amount of coins you can get essentially gets cut in half. The price will go up and down but in a few months there won't be large dumps any more until the price gets "good" IMO.

When I got back into mining I went this route. I've got a 7790 and a 6670 mining away. I'll replace slower card soon with another 7790.

Try pulling and rebuilding the latest source from my github repository.  There was a space of about a day or so after I first added Nfactor and N to the getmininginfo data that it was reporting only what Nfactor was when yacoind was last started.  I fixed that and pushed the fix to github a day or two later, but you may have snagged a copy while the bug was still there.  Alternatively, restart yacoind and it'll show the right info until the next N change near the end of June.


I'm using the latest windows binaries. Can someone build another one with the bug fix in it?

My Yacoin client still says Nfactor is 8 but according to my hashes it did go up. What's up with that?

People stopped mining almost all together on AmericanCoin around 10k. 5k blocks is easy to get to.
