Your insane to pay 700 for a s-7 I just picked up two s5's and a s7 for 550, including shipping. Check my trust if you want proof. Has reference and everything.

probably a good time to consolidate. my 5sat/byte tx got confirmed in 1hr or so.
Yeah, payouts have been confirming by other pools, with that small fee I put on them, so indeed anyone who has been doing consolidation with low fees should have been getting their transactions though pretty cheaply. Yea was nice I consolidated two yesterday and both went through at 10sats/byte. When I bought some more cables and breakout boards from sidehack was kinda sad to pay 200sats/byte but at least I knew it would clear faster. probably a good time to consolidate. my 5sat/byte tx got confirmed in 1hr or so.
Jesus I just saw this, that is awesome to hear. I might try to consolidate some more my self then.

If it was truly a gift. I would reinvest it into mining hardware since I have free power and make even more with it and then give it back or pay it forward.

Just had a question I was just poking around looking at my graphs for shift work checking on my miners, and I notice today at 00:47:54 I lost about 1 ths figured I lost connections for a second but then I notice on the pool hash rate the same dip at the same time were the pool lost like 2 PHS. Is that something with the connection to the pool or maybe reboot? Just wondering if my drop in hash rate and the pools was due to the same issue.
Sometimes its a connection or reboot issue. Sometimes the graph can look skewed if more than one block is found by the network seconds apart. Those kinds of dips show what it can really take to get everyone here mining on the same page after getting shot with a blank Short network blocks do affect the shift graphs, but usually only by a sizeable amount around the time we also find blocks. The nodes do drop off and back on again straight away sometimes, so in those cases there'll be a 5 minute failover and fail back for miners connected to the node. These show pretty clearly on the Pool Graph - but the graph itself is a little misleading - the width of the gaps doesn't correctly represent the amount it has gone down (or up) since the points are the average middle point of each shift. If you have your second pool set to a different kano.is node, then you should see little if no effect on your hash rate unless both nodes do it at the same time - which is of course pretty rare. The failover of 5 minutes (which is what cgminer is hard coded to do - yeah it's too long for ckpool ... ... ...) means about a 10% drop for that shift for any miners that don't have another kano.is node as backup, so that explains the drop level also. In the long run it's not really a lot, and it's just caused by design flaws in ckpool. That's something that I've already done changes that make it resolvable, that I'll finish off after I've done the accounting code. ... and on the subject of the accounting code ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Soon after I get back I'll update KanoDB to add all the new account types and settings that I completed before I left, but hadn't done enough testing on it before I left, so I wasn't wanting to push a bunch of change live as I got on a plane ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This has to do with the cloud changes I've mentioned before that I'm working on. The problem has come up with the cloud design that I need the accounting code in place anyway. So since the accounting code was next on the todo list, and I need it to finish the current todo item, cloud mining, that means account is what I'll be working on as soon as I test the current changes and get them live, once I'm back. Sweet thanks for the information. Cant wait to see the new updates! good luck on you trip and safe travels. Posts of picks of Bitmain if you were able to go.

Game looks like a ok but the ROI for all animals seems to be around 6 months. You would be better off mining with a S3 with out the fear of the website shutting down before 6 months is up. I mean I guess if you add in referrals it might speed the process up a little bit on ROI but 6 month that's to steep for me. But I wish you the best and good luck.

does the c1 come with the watercooling radiator and pump and tubing ?
Yes it does. The pump is working and so is the cooling. I also have the Bitcrane 600ghs that is also water cooled which is also working.

Has any one else been contacted by member 3x2 claiming to have D3's in stock now and wanting to sell?
No but always use escrow and Never give up your btc first. Even if it is just shipping payment. ALWAYS ALWAYS use escrow for newbie accounts and as well for many others that don't have trust rating.

Brand new to mining, my Avalon has been warming up my attic for just over a week now, and already feeling the sensation of pool block findings, payout notifications, and Satoshis ending up in my wallet... Love it! Been searching this topic regarding the payouts, and the fee's when using the mined BTCs. My wallet gave me this warning: http://support.exodus.io/article/71-i-receive-btc-mining-payouts-why-are-the-fees-so-high. Searching this topic I did not really found a good answer to that. Sorry if I missed it, but could somebody explain what up with all this? And how I can maximise the usage of my mined Satoshis? I dont know which wallet you use, but I just went through this. You are probably seeing high fees when you go to use you bitcoin from mining correct? This is due to the transactions from mining with a small amount of hash rate. Like me I was running around 2.5 ths up till last week when I upgrade to 5 ths about to be 6. Which is Still a small amount of hash rate. This just means out payouts are smaller. So we wait till we get enough to spend. So when we get enough we go to spend it and DAMN it costs 50 bucks to send 50 bucks worth of bitcoin. Or in my case it was 200 bucks transaction fee for 550 bucks worth of bitcoin. This is due to the transaction we receive. We have to take all of the tranactions and combine them into 1 input. So for me Here is the transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/266016458fbc1f666e9dd49eaab4abcec489d8343cf6a2fd3a1bd7630a0548c8 it had to take all my transactions and combine them to make one amount to send. This causes the huge fees. The more transaction you have to combine to make the amount you want the more the fee will be. The best way to get around this is to consolidate your transaction every week or so. Meaning you need to get a wallet you can pick like a week worth of transactions and then send them to your self, ether to a new address or same doesnt matter. When you choose all the transaction you want to spend from you will then choose the fee which should be over 10 satshio per byte. Most transactions fees are 100 to 500 satshio per byte. So you will save your self a bunch in fees by consolidating every week. Just make sure you set your fee at least above 10 sat per byte and it will get mined. It may take alittle longer to confirm. But it will. Here is one I just did but kinda messed up on. I thought I used 14 sats per byte but did 4 sats per byte. It probably will take for ever to confirm if it does. I will probably have to raise the fee on it https://blockchain.info/tx/e1c35435aa6f08690f9ba3dc272e16b2a1bc74f71c907af1678807022d86af17 You will see I am taking all of my mining trans actions and combing them into one amount. Granted it is kinda of a hassle but in the end it will save us so much more when we go to spend our mining profit. Hopefully that helps

For a cheaper PSU you can try a DPS800 and a breakout board. Not sure how much they are nowadays but I got mine about half a year ago for $35 and they're built like a tank + quiet. Their peak power is 800 watts 120 and 220+ is 1000 watts, and they are also 80+ rated IIRC.
Really don't need a break out board just solder the connections to the PSU. Here Is a link how to do it. https://telavivmakers.org/index.php/Mini_CNC Even though break out boards are nice. But if you are going cheap just solder them on. Or solder two 10 gauge wires to the positive and negative and use those two wires to wirernut the connections.

The miner has comes with 2 burned (literally) hash boards, and one PSU with 6 pci-e cables. Not sure if the PSU still works but some of the cables are fried. Controller and beagle board seem intact. Still able to access the miner page and it says I am hashing at 8 g/hs, but not sure if that is true. Better to sell all together or just sell as parts?
You could sell all together but wont go for much. You could try to part it out and make a little more. Shoot me some pictures I might buy it off you just so I can play with it.

You don't want the PSU on max load all the time. You will burn it out and maybe your miner. Kinda like a car you keep it red lined all the time it will blow up. You want something like a 750 it will run for ever and not cost you as much in electricity it is all about power consumption the less consumption or electricity you pull the more profit you make. Granted if the power is free not a big deal you wont make much if anything if you are paying for power with a s3.
