Ohhh i miss this mining rtx 3060 on laptop, after break even in time eth to pos, my laptop go to shelves again, without any interest using laptop rather than pc or tablet for daily use, is nice only 63w mining eth ath 39mhs back then, and rtx 3060 laptop considered cheap when rtx 3000 series at 2-3x msrp, nice experience

Went to my local computer store for some parts. And right in front of the store they had a huge collection of returns and almost all of them were GPUs. Many were still sealed. They have a decent return policy and I am figuring out that these are mostly scalper returns.
Really surprised that they didn't just decline returns if someone is returning like 10x GPUs, which is clearly not for personal use but for scalping. Very surprised that people are still trying to scalp GPUs these days when ETH POS was months ago.
Cause rtx 4000 was disappointed so scalper began to accumulate rtx 3000 / rx 6000 series they stupidly cheap, for me buying 2nd more reasonable than any current deal at very moment, this heaven for gamer, miner still steady watching mining announcements, but nothing came to replace eth, gpu miner need to sell as much they can for us miner began to profitable again |

Once upon a time I used to be into everything that has everything to do with Artificial Intelligence and I was happy that some blockchain projects are into A.I but they never seem to get better adoption, A.I is something g the world wants but it just seem too early, now I've give up on crypto / blockchain A.I projects but now
What about Metaverse? Will this use case faces the same fate? I am worried that we are too haste into the future like we won't be needing this until some several years later, is this something to be worried about?

Many people believe there is 2 big dump in this year + before halving just like cycle before, at this point btc still strong, only really bad news like binance & usdt fit these categories, and macroeconomic began sign of recovery. QT still run at 95b per month till end of 2024, but doesnt meant fed gonna doing their plan accordingly. For me only 10% fund left for exchange, but yeah macro & these bad news left user fund outside exchange, good for whale accumulation

Found a gigabyte ga-h1110-d3a and asus b250 mining expert in a cupboard in work. Boss says I can have them FOC. Wondering if worth building a system around these two boards as I know they are quite old now. Dont mind doing the leg work if worth the while

Gigabyte b250 version is available but dunno about asus one, not interested they dont have dvi or vga out, only hdmi, which is not recommended for mining monitor, sometimes it wont display anything, better vga or dvi, nothing go wrong with that, pure stable I always connected the monitor to the main video card in the first X16 slot, I did not use the integrated video card. The old monitor is connected via an HDMI-VGA adapter. If there is no image from the main video card, then I connect to another. On the case of the mining farm, I make a mark to which video card I need to connect, if necessary. Well in my experience using onboard gpu for monitoring or applying config or testing oc, is more stable than direct using from gpu, for miner this best time to buy 2nd gpus, if in the future miner not profitable like good old day, sell the gpus with decent profit while new gpus stay expensive with fancy new features make them more expensive to build |

Last time ergo is nice for amd cards but, after eth pow gone, ergo floded x10 hashrate from miner desperately trying to recoup their investment on gpu side, with the fall of ergo price, began quickly unprofitable even you got free electricity isnt worth it at all

For me when bear market start trading pair switch to alt/usd and scalp trading or buy when dip happen. When bullmarket start switch back to alt/btc. Keep in mind many alt will dien when bear market hit, even exchanges will gone with customers fund, last cycle most altcoin only pump 2000% same as btc did, so whats the point holding alt, that depend on your strategy when trading alt/btc or alt/usd

How about rtx 4090 mobile is arround the corner, chinese will make dedicated gpu for that things only 150w tdp perform like 3090 in gaming performance. Always mobile gpu lead better efficiency, the price seems to be cheaper than desktop gpus but no warranties , im looking at this |
