I have a question. I bought this coin 10 days ago in 3 seperate transactions, 1st one was for 2,000 coins, second one was for 400,000 coins and the 3rd was for 600,000 coins. I received my first stake 2 days ago for 12,000 I then clicked the minting button and now don't see the 600,000 coin transaction minting anymore, It's as if it's not there. Is something wrong or will everything be fine? Thanks for any and all help!
Minting tab is not accurate. Use coin control to see what is really going on. After a block stakes it will become 2 smaller blocks . If you want to keep large blocks you must manually manage them using coin control. "How to combine your blocks for maximum compounding. check using coin control. the minting tab is not accurate. Thank you, MrEggman! As I already wrote, I've read these your words before. But how can coin control show me the percentage of probability? It doesn't. Larger blocks have more "hashpower" and are more likely to stake quicker. At current PoS difficulty 1+ million in a block should stake on the first day it is eligible. It is like mining PoW there is some luck factor and an always changing difficulty making exact times hard to nail down. |

Most people in crypto have heard of Masternode Coins... they are the latest thing that is getting much attention lately. 808 is not a Masternode Coin. But let me explain how I use my 808 wallet, effectively making it far better than a Masternode.
What I am doing is saving up 6million 808 coins. This will produce a little over 1 million coins in around 10 days. My goal is to create 2-5 addresses, each with 6million coins. In my mind, I imagine each stack of 6million coins as an 808 Masternode. Save up enough for 4 "Masternodes", and you're now staking over 4 million 808 in less than 10 days.
This is what I'm doing to make 808 more fun and interesting. It's a great coin, if you use it properly. Let's keep raising the price, no more dumpers... 808 can easily hit 100 Sats, if we hold long term and do not dump.
This looks like a good plan you got there. This is how I promote 808 coin as I let people know that in fact 808 coin is much better then a masternodes coin as the rewards are a lot better and that it's cheaper then most masternodes coins out there. Also people don't have to leave their 808 coin wallets open 24/7 in the first 8 days of staking 808 coin so they save on resources. However at the 8th day it's best to leave the wallet open 24/7. I might try something similar to this once I build up my stack some more. You dont have to leave the wallet running in the first 8 days? So you can have your computer off then on the 8th day turn it back on with the wallet running so you can get your stake? Correct. 808 coin will earn coinage offline. You need to have your wallet online when the blocks are mature enough to mint your stake. If you have 1 large block you can essentially run your wallet once every 8+ days. |

Hi, thanks. It's too hard to dig this out. A lot of us are busy, have several wallets, have our own cryptocurrency we are launching, but still love 808. This information is not on the website, and I'm pretty sure it's not in the OP. Can you put a link to a major help file because this is a pretty obscure feat and the wallet interface is not intuitive for it. It's also a important feature. I'm laughing as I look at the old pos coins like trk, net, rdd, tek, etc that I use to stake and watching as their values are still low/horrible. Just remember, a currency's value is based on: 1. Stability : Price/stake rewards won't be changing 2. How many people use it aka adoption rate 3. How much interest are you earning; Is it good? 4. Velocity of money : How many times money changes hands using underlying currency - Reliant on #1 - #3 to work first. THe mistake of previous proof of stake coins is they over-relied on gimmicks and inflation control instead of focusing on promoting and making sure the rules were 100% solid. Piece of shit netcoin use to pay 100% with gradual reduction. Then 1 day the devs instant changed it to just 2% per year. Fking scam coin. Is 808coin purely POS or can it also be mined with gpu's or asics? You can still mine the pow side of 808 with sha256 asic. However block rewards are low, difficulty changes every block, higher difficulty lowers pow block reward. So you can only mine with sha256 asic and cant use GPU's? Could you send the link to mine it? You will likely have to mine solo if you want to. The cost of running a 808 pool makes it unprofitable option for operators. Total daily pow mintage is under 3k 808 atm and will drop even lower if more people try and mine it and raise the difficulty. |

How long does it take usually for the 808coin to appear in my wallet. I used the 808coin wallet for mac osx and transfered 10000 coins from cryptopia 10 hours ago and still nothing in the wallet.
Is there a walkthrough somewhere on how to use the wallet? maybe I'm doing something wrong

The transaction appears in the blockchain, I'm using the osx wallet and I added the .conf file with the nodes and I try to use a vpn as I'm in indonesia at the moment. It still doesnt sync. This is just the beginning. Demand is beyond strong right now.
I agree as there seems to be strong demand for this coin now. I put a sell order in for 38 sats and sold them in a matter of minutes lol. I have now combined all my coins into one large block so in 8 to 10 days from now I should earn a nice amount of coins. I think I'll get to my 5 million goal a lot sooner then I expected as the stakes grow very fast when we combine them into one large block. I would love to see 50 sats in the near future.
