Crazy times lately for 808!

Now sitting 5th place in volume on cryptopia.

32+ btc volume

worth over 130,000$

Is it time for Bittrex?

If the volume keeps up like this then yes I think it will be time to try and get listed on Bittrex. MrEggman do you think we could set up a wallet for donations to pay for the Bittrex listing? The donation wallet could be set up for people to of course donate some of their 808 coins and in turn those donations can stake to build on it even more so when it comes time their will be enough funds to hopefully pay for the Bittrex listing. Maybe you could set up a poll on this and let the community vote?

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

If I'm correct, I thought I read that this Wallet can find blocks.  What is the block reward from finding a block via the wallet?

To mine sha256 pow blocks and actually get anything you will need an asic. To mine pos blocks you need to have a balance of 808, after that sits for 8.08 days it starts to mine a pos block that will be 17%+ of  your starting block.

So you  get 17% of your staking balance every 8.08 days if you keep your wallet switched on? Thats a very high return for a staking coin.

From page one:
Eligible for 17%+ stake after 8.08+ days
Keep earning an additional 2%+ for each day you wait over 8.08+ days
Larger PoS blocks stake quicker, take advantage of compounding

That's right and that is why a lot of us who have been in the 808 coin community for a long while now for people to at least start with 500k to 1 million 808 coins as they would stake quicker once the 8.08 days are up. Yes sometimes it can take longer but in most cases people will earn a stake in 9 to 12 days staking with 500k to 1 million coins. If people have more then it will most likely be 9 to 10 days.

58+ BTC  volume! this is really great! however it also looks a little bit weird i think that bots are trading there. if it will help the price and or listed at bitterex that will be great. however i hope that the price wont fall down dramatically and that in the end there wont be a huge selling wall at low levels that will make the price stuck at lets say 7 satoshi for a few months, as i know it happened with lots of pump and dump. it seems like things might get out of our hands a little bit...   Huh

I thought I was seeing things when I saw this amount of volume. I just hope its not bots trading because its not a good way to build up volume. I'm not 100% sure because I haven't logged into Cryptopia today to see the trading going on. I do however think 808 coin is getting more exposure now as I have seen more people twitting about 808 coin now with the hashtag #808coin so it could be that the volume is legit but again no one really knows for sure.

Hi, everyone. I am a newcomer.
I need your help.
Though I just downloaded the 808wallet for MacOS, it seems not working, not connecting to network.
At the lower right of the window, it says "0 active connection to 808 network".
Could you give me some help? Are there any thread relate to setting the wallet or something?
Thank you for your kindness.

To use that Mac version You will need to make a 808.conf file and use some addnodes https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/808/ for an up to date list.

Its been a great 24 hours for me staking 808 coin as I have earned 3 stakes totalling around 200k my best amount of stakes ever with this coin. This is what I try and explain to people on Twitter that 808 coin is much better then all masternode coins out there and the cost for 500k to 1 million 808 coins is much cheaper then most masternode coins and the rewards are way better. Another follower of mine just joined the 808 coin community and now he is looking forward to staking in around 8.08 to 10 days from now. I'm sure he will be happy just like all of us here.

@MrEggman
I have come across this new exchange: https://mercatox.com/adding-coins It seems that we can vote for free 5 times a month which from what I understand once we have enough votes the coin can be listed or there is the direct payment option. I have used this exchange and it seems to be pretty good so I thought maybe we can try and get 808 coin listed on here.

MrEggman today on marketcap says there are 684830058 coins of 808.
How many coins are in total in a future?
Is there a subsequent down payment, as does coin 1337? If so, when and how?
Thank you

No MN, just regular staking. But profit you make is bigger than any MN coin out there.

Yep its way better to stake 808 coin and is much cheaper to start then most masternode coins out there. Staked another 50k overnight so its been a very profitable last 2 days for me staking this coin.

Not sure if anyone seen this but I came across a exchange that I believe is free to list coins but we must vote https://mercatox.com/adding-coins What do you think MrEggman? is it worth while trying to get 808 coin listed on there?
