202  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you buying? on: November 24, 2018, 08:00:21 AM
So at what price are you or have you been loading up on Bitcoin?

I don't have much money now, I'm planning on buying a ton of Bitcoin in late January when I get a bunch of money from the sale of the startup I work at (hoping price is still at least below $6k!!), but today I decided if this thing hits $3800 I'm picking up half a bitcoin, and if it drops significantly below that I'll try to pick up maybe as much as another half a bitcoin. For anyone with plenty of money on the side right now I hope you all are feasting on all this panic selling! This is how you get rich! Too bad I have $8k on exchanges that I bought up coins with a few months ago, I'd pick up 2 Bitcoin right now if I had that in fiat Sad
Well, now that Bakkt has delayed launch, I would not be surprised to see us driving as low as $3000 downward, and from here I really am going to start stashing as much as I can. The thing about life is that opportunity comes in a different dimension and in most cases, it takes being smart to be able to realize these opportunities and be able to take advantage of them.

Market dropping in value is never a problem for those who know what they are doing in this market when it comes to having a long term goal; it is only a problem for those who do not have one.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto songs on: November 24, 2018, 07:13:02 AM
Ahhaha i listened a music 10 days ago . That video came from one special group that is saying * bitcoin please goo to moon * stop going sideways now ** tone vays says bitcoin can go to 1k  but mr novogratz said we bottomed out - etc. I love that music. That is short but that is completely about us and our pathetic situation. I shazamed that surely i couldnt find that music. If i will find i will share it in here.
Will be good to see you share that actually. There are a lot of songs we are practically singing ourselves in our own head right now with the way the market has been going, but unfortunately for those who have been calling the moon too early without allowing the market to develop into it, I guess they are seeing not just the moon but the earth core right now.

However, it is still a good thing anyway, considering that for some of us, the songs we are playing in our heads now is that bitcoin please give me more bonuses to buy in more for the long run.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: November 24, 2018, 06:29:19 AM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.

If you understand the maths behind a probably fair system, then you will realize how the things work on the backend, and doesn't matter if you have positive toughs or bad ones. At end is a random number making some crypto hashing and giving a result.

But in other hand we have the attraction law, if you want to understand what i'm talking about you should read the book or watch the movie called "The Secret", here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3isjlvccc0
And that philosophy say that you attract thinks with your mind, if you think in positive things, then you will have positive things in your life, if you have negative or bad toughs all time, then that's what you attract to your life.
i'n my country we say 'You are what you eat', and i'm half agree with that, but you aren't only that, i compose that for, 'You are what you read and what you think'. Think positive will bring you positive results in life.

So, at end i'm not agree about that your thinking affect a bet result, but for sure it affect your day by day in real life.

But it is quite impossible, no one is able to trick casinos unless that you have access to the machines or to the entire system mechanism that is behind the protocol.

That is the only way that all the people that tricked them before, made a fortune.

It is always because of an insider

Always the thing with gambling, the odds are usually always going to be against you as the casinos themselves, which in this case have the upper hand, will not want to end up bankrupt and the only reason they keep making money is because of people that keep thinking they can at least cheat the casino with some strategy or some positive mindset.

Probably people should ask themselves, if everyone is winning, with the casinos still be in existence today. They are not some charity organization just in case people do not know, they are there for business and they are sure going to be profiting off almost every gambler.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the bottom of the market? Time to buy coins? on: November 21, 2018, 07:02:55 AM
Yeah, if you still believe in the market and you think it will grow well in the future, this is best time to buy coins. My assets is in crypto now and i don't have free USD, if i have, i will buy more coins at this time and hold for 2 years to 3 years. It would be my best investment.
One thing with this market as it is right now is that it is very unpredictable, but the truth of the matter is that as long as you know you have the confidence that the market is going to grow more than this in the long term and you have the patience to wait for it, then you have no problem at all.

That though, will require a deep understanding of the market, as well as the long term potential when it comes to usage and not just some speculative thing for people who are looking for easy means to get rich overnight. If there was ever any easy means, there won’t be any poor people in the world.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stop loss management on: November 21, 2018, 06:07:04 AM
Good day fellow traders, I'm thinking of using stop loss order in my trades, can you give me some advice how you use your stop loss order?
stop loss is good if you want to protect your capital and profits placing sl is not easy in volatile markets there will be high chances that sl will be hit we cant keep it to far also i think its better to place sl for how much risk we can afford and trailing stop loss is very difficult
Stop loss must be adjusted to several things such as the market condition of the coin, your ability to accept losses and many other things, if you are not too brave enough to take risks and you want to keep your capital from falling more. you can stop loss in the range of 10% drop, but adjust also to the market conditions
Well, market conditions will always change, but rather than adjusting every time, it is always better to have it already planned out before even entering a trade position. Usually for every trader, you try to look out for supports, price action on these levels, the momentum using some indicators and then making your trades.

As long as you buy at support and sell at resistance, stop loss should always be below the latest support, and that is basically something that works for almost every trade. Managing stop loss at times may not be easy, but you just have to discard any emotion when it comes to it.
207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchangers and kyc on: November 20, 2018, 07:23:08 AM
Is anyone know there is any crypto exchangers who dont ask kyc ??

Like its no bs transaction you send them coin they send you money with western union monegram or bank transfer.
Or you transfer them money they dont ask stupid questions they just make the trade happend.
Is anyone like this ? I spoken my friend from former soviet union country he said he dont care if only customers he can do exchanger without kyc.
I am not afraid of the KYC , I dislike it because it requires more information than really needed. Security is there to protect me from getting hacked, KYC is not security, lets not fool each other nobody puts KYC there so they know it is real you, they put it there because they want to make sure to know who you are and try to identify people who have some bitcoins and what they are using it for.

If for some dumb reason a person of interest gets into bitcoin and puts his face into a camera stating he is the owner of some coins than the authorities could identify that person using his KYC information and catch him before he does something with that money.

In reality no criminal would do such a thing and use someone else account for it but unfortunately the authorities have to do this to make it a bit harder for criminals. Meanwhile the people like me who have no criminal records at all have to work for getting your money out of somewhere.
Well, that is one thing when it comes to the whole verification thing, it is one thing to do KYC, and it is another thing for your profile to pass through verification. A lot of people tried using wrong information in bittrex in the past, and they got their accounts burned for that reason.

It is not a bad idea when it comes to the idea of anti-money laundering, there is nothing there as far as I am concerned, and as long as I know plainly that the exchange is simply trying to abide by the policies of the country where they are situated. It is when you have some skeletons in your wardrobe that you will end up being worried.
208  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency news on: November 20, 2018, 06:22:50 AM
awesome news.
very soon we will all be able to use crypto to buy things freely and everywhere... etc.
no longer subjected to crazy exchange losses when travelling.
A lot of us have always been thinking and hoping that one day we will be able to live life, go places, and make payment for anything without even having to convert to fiat first.

Sure, it is certain that however we want it, fiat is something that will always remain one way or the other, but as the world turns digital and we get to see digital payments than paper currency payment, I am really believing seeing means for real life usage, will really help greatly to see this space grow more than it is now. At least, things like this will help a lot for global adoption and awareness.
209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There are some indispensable things that new traders need to know. on: November 20, 2018, 05:39:53 AM
Nice tips for beginner trader and maybe the biggest enemy of a trading is when you stand in front of the mirror that is the enemy. Yes, ourselves, when we have profit or loss we never think for a short break but continue trading until finally the asset loses. So when we feel tired or we have badmood better turn off your laptop and get a rest until you feel better then can start trading. So Control emotional is important too
Really nice tips, but it is just a pity that a lot of newbies are always too lazy to read but they are never lazy to want to start making quick bucks, and there is always a step to everything in life and those who tend to rush things pretty fast always end up getting burned.

These are really indeed some indispensable things to learn and curtail as an habit when it comes to trading, but the most of it all, is never to trader at all without a strategy. By strategy, this includes, where you want to be buying and selling and not doing that blindly, and where you want to be placing your stop loss. If you miss anyone out, then you really have no good plan.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: November 19, 2018, 06:47:43 AM
Hi guys, I just graduated from college and wanted to have a better income but didn't know what to do. I want to find a solution to get around this situation. There are just friends who invite businesses to provide income, and there are also those who invite to invest in cryptocurrencies. If you are in my position and faced with these 2 choices, which one will you choose:
1. Invest in cryptocurrencies
2. Opening a real business

Give me the reason why you choose between the one above

regards
Being faced with these two choices basically means there is a possibility of you to at least take advantage of the two. Like they always say, never put all your eggs in one basket. The truth of it all is that this space is a whole lot interesting when it comes to the possibilities of making some good bucks in the long run, or even if you are just investing and holding for the long term, but you also have to understand the short term risks as well and the little long term risks. It is a new space, so you do not have to pour all you have in it. So put what you know you can handle, and then put the rest into other businesses of your choice.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How a trader should deal with the stress? on: November 19, 2018, 05:42:51 AM
It good to see unique positive service targeted at cryptocurrency traders and trading activities can actually take a toll on your mind and your body.  The relaxation could be healthy and profitable as well if you look at the business side of it.  I will sure use your service in the future!
It will always take a huge toll on your mind if you approach it like gambling, trust me! And that is actually one of the things that a lot of people are doing today. They hear that with trading, you can take advantage of trends and become wealthy in a short period of time, but they at the same time fail to understand that there is never an easy way to anything.

Trading is not easy, but the only way to make it easy is to make sure you have a strategy and the only way you can ever have a plan or strategy is to learn as much as you can, and then practice for some time. If you skip any of these, you will always get yourself stressed emotionally and that is one mental state of mind you do not want to be in when it comes to trading.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks must adopt new technologies to survive an ongoing “extinction phase” on: November 19, 2018, 04:56:17 AM
I am not really worried about banks, those are some of the oldest institutions around the world and they know very well how to play the game, they understand that they will need to adapt to this new development, but before they do they are going to try to eliminate cryptocurrencies so they do not have to compete but if they can't then they will reinvent themselves.
Yeah, the truth is that they have been through thick and thins, as well as adaptation to evolution over the years, and I do not see this shaking them into a hideout in the long run, as they most definitely will find a way to at least get to adapt to the way things are changing pretty fast.

I am sure they already know a time will come for them to realize there is so much to gain from the new world that is coming and as long as they are able to keep rendering a service within this space, which I believe there always will be, then, I am sure nothing will stop them from at least making the best of it.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm A Professional Trader, Here's My Strategy on: November 17, 2018, 06:45:44 AM
Hello All,

In this thread I'm going to detail how I trade Cryptocurrency.

I've been trading Crypto for the past 6 months with pretty decent results.

The strategy I use is based on a culmination of different techniques and knowledge I picked up in my time trading the Forex market, which is what I traded before moving to Crypto at the beginning of the year.

There are two parts to the strategy.....

The first part is what I use when the a large rise/bull run is taking place - (you can learn how to use this on my site - see below)

And the second part is what I use when the market is slow or ranging/consolidating.

My strategy is simple to trade but requires some explaining, so I'll be posting pics and doing analysis of different trades to help you understand why I took a trade and what you can do to begin doing the same.

Lets get to it.

P.S I've also started a website that has free information on Cryptocurrency trading.

https://www.cryptotradingschoolonline.com/

It's a new site, so there's only a few articles and things on there at the moment, but I'll be adding more articles to it in the near future, including ones that go into more detail on the techniques you'll see me use in this thread, so keep an eye open for them.

Also, if you have any questions you can ask me on the thread or email me at liamcrypto123@hotmail.com
Thanks Maxpips, this is really going to help a lot of people, myself included because I’m not all that perfect in trading and I haven’t taken out time to learn.

Just checked out your website and it’s quite good. I will also like to add that I once traded forex but quit due to it wasn’t much of what’ I expected it to be, but I didn’t made some profit from but it was difficult. After a few years of quitting forex trading, a friend introduced me cryptocurrency trading.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology improves we work more. on: November 17, 2018, 06:10:59 AM
The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?
Work these says are determined by skills. Let’s say that you’re well experienced in operating a tech, then you will probably have bigger pay and working same time as others. But in some countries, it’s never like that. There are people with much experience but they never get paid based on their skills and experience.

In my country where I live it’s even worst. Tech doesn’t make things easier for most people. Some employees even have the mindset that when there is tech involve there wouldn’t be much stress, so they shouldn’t pay you much. Really bad.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Now!!! on: November 16, 2018, 06:02:58 AM
Invest now while the the coins and tokens are at their low value.. The impact of the low value of bitcoin affects most of the coins. We should invest now before it returns to is glory. Its is a simple concept of a stock exchange where we buy at lower cost and sell it a high value ,, an increase in value can be a big matter if you invest more.. count your investments not your savings,,,

btw please follow me on twitter and i will follow you also. i promise , lets help one another to gain followers. GOD BLESS

https://twitter.com/batrocio
I don’t need anyone telling me what to do, I just invest whenever I feel is the right time to invest. I already bought Bitcoin and some altcoins and I don’t care about what people has to say.

I have plans to leave those coins in my wallet for as long as I wish, cause I believe that within a year or even less than that, there will surely be an increase. I got in late in the last one but I did make profit. I don’t want it to be the same way this time around.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My First Post on: November 16, 2018, 05:31:37 AM
Hello Everyone.

I am new to crypto market, though I have done some reading and trend analysis, I seek your advice and help on what are the major Do's and Dont's when trying to invest?

Please guide me regarding where to invest and how to go about it?

Thanks
I hope you also read that there are risks in cryptocurrency investment, so you wouldn’t have to complain when you start losing money?Same thing happens in every investment, and if you’re not prepared to face it, then investment is not for you. If you think you’re ready then you first have to set up a wallet and you can check out sites like Coinbase or Bitfinex.

And make sure to have an offline wallet so you wouldn’t have to store your coins on exchanges. You can buy and sell once you have account in any of those. And here, you might like to read this: http://time.com/money/5063203/how-to-invest-in-bitcoin/
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: November 14, 2018, 07:13:00 AM
Over the years cryptocurrency  has evolved into a global currency but governments are trying to sweep it's relevancy under the carpet. We all know that the eyes of the community are now opened to the importance and blockchain technology.

What baffles me is why are the government making lives difficult by banning or limiting it's use? Is it because it threatens the political power or are they scared it will improve the global economy or force the traditional banks to reduce their ridiculous interests rate which we have been robbed of for decades now.

What is your take on this and what do you think will make governmental bodies to finally accept crypto?
Not everyone can understand the reason behind government being afraid of cryptocurrency. It’s even difficult for me to explain, except for those who knows a bit about government and conventional currencies. But I believe that one of the main reasons why the government is afraid of cryptocurrency is because it has no primary control. It is unlike the fiat currency which is controlled by government and has value just because the government says so.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is responsible for the scam project on: November 14, 2018, 06:39:46 AM
There's always a person to be blame sometimes the bounty manager and the team of the Project who has a connection with each other and I think sometimes they planned it. No offense I'm not blaming all! But usually when a participants ask in those person who act as a team and bounty manager sometimes they both blame each other with the same answer that can really make us confused.
That can only be in the case where you know those that are behind the project. Some of them you will never know who are the people behind the work. Sometimes, if they did advert for the project, some people would hold the advertisers for responsible for carrying out a misleading information to the public, just like I have seen before. But I see no need for that, cause if they still say that they don’t know those responsible, there is still nothing you can do to them.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: November 14, 2018, 05:59:05 AM
There is nothing like disappearance in the world of blockchain technology. Bitcoin has come to stay and the best is still yet to come. In economics, when a commodity is in short supply, the price obviously goes up and this has always been the case in every society and this can easily be applied in crypto too.
I know where the op is actually heading to. What he’s trying to say is for example in a situation where someone who owns a huge amount of money eventually dies, what will happen to those coins he owns? So in this case I believe that it is basically lost, unless someone gets access to that wallet and moves the coins. But whatever, I don’t think anyone would keep huge amount of money cryptocurrency without letting someone close to them know about it.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or other business what do you choose? on: November 13, 2018, 07:00:41 AM
For me, Bitcoin trading is most suitable for me. Because I have no idea about business and I do not even know how to do it. So I like bitcoin trading more.
I believe that it always depends on what you are expert at. If you are expert at the cryptocurrency, better stick to it and replicate your money. If you have an edge in e-commerce over others, investment in e-commerce will render you make millions out of an idea. So you can make money anywhere as long as you understand the business. Plus if you pay attention to the traditional market, we still need to make changes to import the existing system to technology and this can present something different in the market which will attract costumer.
Expertise! That is the best word for it and before you even become an expert, you must have had some knowledge in that field and must have been able to try as much as possible to practice to some great extent to get some experience as well.

Most times, a lot of people tend to dabble into something without going through the learning phase, and that is something I am sure they always get to tell a negative story about, unless of course they got lucky at first, and luck is something that will always not last forever. Bitcoin trading or business, just make sure that you know whatever it is that you are doing as this is what would make you do great in it.
