201  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Are the Avalon ASICS shipped or not? on: March 14, 2013, 08:42:25 PM
For you people suggesting I am crazy to not believe, and talking down to me while speaking as if ASIC is proven..
MANY others are still talking like ASIC is NOT proven.

One of my block crates...

six 5870s
two PSUs
hard drive removed, running on 16GB USB flash*
4GB Ram DDR3 (going to downgrade to 2GB RAM so I can put all this extra ram in my personal server)*
$18.50 AM3 CPU*

*  Because I am all about building cheap.

My fake machine mined 18000000 BTC in one minute.  Is that good enough for you too?

That would be awesome but you can only mine BTC 3600 per day in the Bitcoin network so I wonder what kind of testnet you are using ;-)

How about some pictures?  Better yet some video?

How about looking at the consistent stats for 3 machines at a pool?

If you have one, can you please show some video?
You can leave it turned on, plugged in, and mining.
Just show it and the screen mining, with speed, and that the screen isn't KVM'ed to another room full of GPUs etc.
Should be easy.
I'll make a video of whatever funny "you were right, I was wrong" quote in return.

How is that even going to work, the avalon does not have any video ports, only wifi and ethernet.

I can hook up a laptop and show you whatever screenshot from my FPGAs next door. You need a web browser or ssh to log into the machine and show you cgminer running. How can you tell?

Anyways, if you want pictures, here is one

**PICTURE HERE**

Bonus points if you can guess what the text on the boxes said (it's not that difficult, 2 degrees of connectivity with Avalon even)

It seems people on forums who disagree with anyone like to insult or talk like they are superior.
So many other threads ask the same thing I do... for proof.
Has anyone in the US received one?

When I said I make XXXXXXX off my fake machine, it was a joke in response to your claim of making 18 BTC per day.
You responded as if I were serious and took the time to offer facts as to how my claim was impossible.  How sad that you wouldn't realize it was an example of sacrasim to prove a point that anyone can invent numbers without evidence and that means nothing.

Telling me that you cannot provide video because an Avalon lacks a video port makes me more frustrated.
Is English a second language for you? No offense.  I only ask, with respect, because it appears that you lack the ability to realize when I am being sarcastic about inventing numbers, or the ability to understand that anyone can lie about numbers, or the common since to realize I am not asking you to display video from the output of an Avalon machine.
I am asking you to take a video camera in your hands, turn it on, press record, and point it at an Avalon, and show something that says "Avalon" on the machine, or say "this is an Avalon", and then show your computer screen or whatever device is running your mining software, and point the camera at the screen while the screen displays the hash rate.
Then stop the recording, upload to youtube, and PM or public link it.

Instead you offer yet another picture of metal boxes with fans.
I can provide you with a picture of unknown equipment and say it is from BFL!

This is an old picture.

I could make a custom case that would not be recognized by google image search,
Put multiple fans, fan grills, ports, and chrome thumb screws on it,
then quote some reasonable, only 2 generations old chip technology numbers,
get some engineers from freelancer.com to write up some tech talk babble...
then take preorders, and circulate multiple pictures of my hardware.

So you picture is great,  THANK YOU for the picture.
I mean that.  Thank you.

But are you in the USA?
Can you show me the screen with hash rate?
Please don't be unreasonable and tell me that an Avalon has no camera built in.
I didn't ask to see video output from an Avalon, but video OF the Avalon.

Oh and I do have video of my BFL mini rig prototype that makes 1000 BTC per day.. (JOKING!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrJVzvJO7EE

If ASIC is real, I will move the GPUs I have to litecoin.
Currently my GPUs have seen ZERO decrease in earning so I find it hard to believe all of this talk about increasing difficulty.  Yes the BTC difficulty goes up.. but who cares when the profit stays the same?
I am on about 4~ 4.5 Gh per day, earning .5 BTC per day from old equipment.

If ASIC is real, shouldn't that have dropped to .4 or .3 or even less?
ASIC is suppose to be all super fast!  I would love to buy 10 of them if I could trust any of these "trust us with your untraceable, non-refundable money" companies.

PS: no I cannot guess what the text says.
204  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Are the Avalon ASICS shipped or not? on: March 12, 2013, 07:28:03 AM
Ask Jeff how much BTC he mined so far with his fake machine
If it is fake, why bother?  Id rather know how I can get paid to help promote a pre-order scam.
My fake machines mined BTC 18 in one day, that is good enough for me

My fake machine mined 18000000 BTC in one minute.  Is that good enough for you too?
How about some pictures?  Better yet some video?

I feel like this is a kidnapping of peoples money.
Everyone claims "It will be ok, you don't need proof of life."

I am looking for proof of ASCI life.  Why is that so hard to find?
Google is no help.

If you have one, can you please show some video?

Proof please.

BFL has a LOT of money.  I would like to be employed by BFL to manage youtube, photos, video, questions etc.
I would make a great promoter, and public relations manager!

BFL:  PM me for my resume!  I code, I edit, and I use spellcheck!
I accept bitcoins, paypal, westernunion, etc!

Avalon:  Same offer!

I am confident people will need someone to field questions during the months to come of people waiting for units to be delivered.
206  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Does anybody actually have an ASIC? on: March 07, 2013, 08:36:56 PM
Of course many people have an ASIC, like those guys in China that have a youtube account they created the same day they uploaded one cell phone video showing them smiling next to the exact same looking equipment you see in other photos from the same people which showed you photos of what they said was an ASIC from Avalon.

We know it's true because they said to trust them with thousands of dollars in untraceable non-refundable money.

My Second Rig.
http://www.youtube.com/embed/wrJVzvJO7EE

Six 5870s pulling 2.3G/hash/sec
2 1000w PSUs drawing maybe 1400w total
1 crate, no cutting, no drilling
windows 7
ATI Catalyst 13.2 (not beta)
ATI SDK 2.4
Phoenix Miner
NO CROSSFIRE (Which is pointless for mining)
NO OVERCLOCK (Causes crashes and GPU burnout)
Yes Underclocked video RAM to 600Mhz

Then there's the Chinese guy who blogged about it - what was his nickname again?

You mean this one? http://bbs.btcman.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1304

or does this overlap with libertybuck?

I can not access that link, what happened?

Dead link.

Subscribing to this thread.
I still see zero non-Chinese evidence.
Yes I have googled, I have searched, and the "evidence" I see thus far is easily faked, or reeks of being fake.
I want to believe everyone accepting "pre-order" non-refundable, untraceable payments is honest.  (But then I laugh)
210  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: BFL Minirig seems like a spectacular bargain? on: March 06, 2013, 09:14:39 AM
I am not suggesting, I am making a clear statement that I do not believe anyone that ordered an ASIC miner (from BFL or Avalon) will ever receive it.  "Jeff" and the "foundation" appear to be low quality fake "evidence".
MangoJ will deny the existence of ASIC miners until the cows come home, and then he'll deny the existence of both the cows and the ASICs.

The post count on YouTube is not a source of trust any more than donator status on Bitcointalk is.

When someone tells you something you dont want to hear, do you always make jokes back at them?

A post count of 1, from a brand new youtube account, showing a video taken from a low end cellphone, that fails to show the ASIC up close.. reeks of fraud to anyone that is warry.

What kind of a proof video is done so poorly?

How many months of "pre-order" money has BFL taken all while telling people excuses for delays?
4,5,6 months?

Renting a few bot-nets for 1 or 2 single users in a pool to crank up 3000G/h does not impress me.  That is one user.  Is it BFL or Avalon using their own equipment?  Because if ASIC was delivered to anyone.. why don't we see more than 2 people with over 100G/h?

I submit to you, that the mega giga hash users.. all 2 of them.. are bot nets.
If ASIC is real.. where can I find a pool that has more than 2 people above 100 G/h?
Each ASIC can do 80.  A bunch of people would buy one.  Several would buy more than one.

Show me more than 2 and I will believe it.
But it isnt from BFL.   Grin
Avalon?
Youtube cell phone videos?  LOL
I am mad at the criminals and at the victims.

It would have been nice if the Welcome registration email told people that.  But then the trolls would know.. and easily do what trolls do, and so new users like us have to be really interested to not give up on this site.
213  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: BFL Minirig seems like a spectacular bargain? on: March 05, 2013, 08:15:25 AM
But you are correct. ASICs are effortless, free money for the masses.. Praise Be!

That would be something.  Amazing even,  if ASIC miners were even real.   Cheesy

Are you suggesting, that the ASIC's are a lie?

I am not suggesting, I am making a clear statement that I do not believe anyone that ordered an ASIC miner (from BFL or Avalon) will ever receive it.  "Jeff" and the "foundation" appear to be low quality fake "evidence".  I see zero "normal" people with youtube accounts that were not created in 1 day with 1 low quality video (IE the "foundation").

Where are the people that have been on youtube for over a month, showing these off?
Please tell me if I am wrong, I would love to see that BFL didn't commit mail fraud.. (again.  He is on probation for mail fraud in the past.)

215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Where to order ASIICS? on: March 04, 2013, 06:28:55 AM
It is safe to assume that BFL is a scam at this point.
Avalon has "Jeff" and some "foundation" claiming they received working ASIICs.
However we do not see a flood of random users that we would see from all the other "normal" people that ordered from Avalon.
Instead we see 1 day old youtube accounts (from the aboved referenced "foundation") that have only 1 video on their youtube account.  One very low quality, short, uninformative, blurry video... from a group posing as a large professional "foundation".

You may guess where my point is going...

Has anyone "normal" verified ASIICS are even real yet?  Or just a scam?

I am still playing with GPUs!
216  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Can the the rise of bitcoin price keep GPU and FGPA in the mix? on: February 23, 2013, 02:17:41 AM
No, miners with GPUs will either stop mining or move on to litecoin.  Mining LTC is already 30% more profitable for me, I don't know why anyone would still be GPU mining BTC at this point.
Very interesting.  I have never heard of LTC but if it is 30% better for GPU miners like myself I will look now!
Thanks.

218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: February 23, 2013, 01:30:56 AM
The idea of a live boot USB or CD to store your wallet on, keeping it and any trace of the wallet off your online computer is solid.
Or, if you know ~exactly~ where your wallet data is on your computer... lock it down, copy it to a USB, then secure delete it off your hard drive... then eject the CD (or USB) works just as well.
I prefer USB.
And prefer not to need to reboot into another OS just to look at my wallet.
IMHO
219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: February 23, 2013, 01:24:40 AM
Let me also add another post.. so I can break 5-10... lol
I own zuunk which is free, so feel free to use it to upload pictures, make a blog, forum, events, store files, pictures.. or a online store etc.

I code in HTML, XML, CSS, PHP, SQL, MySQL, Java, Javascript, AppleScript, and am functional but not fluent in Unix, Dos, bla bla bla.
I look forward to being a random technical support issue sniper for kudos!  Grin

Hello!
So it took me about forever and several days to find out I have to have 4 hours and 10 posts to reply to any topic.
I understand why.

I am "MangoJ"  lol.
Nice to meet you.
I could name drop myself!  But for that same reason I prefer to keep my real life private.  Wink
I have about 1.76Mhps mining power on 4 ATI 5870s.
I might post some videos if anyone cares.
Love videos!

Oh and I wont be losing money to BFL or the Avalon scams. Wink
