201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v4.0 on: November 11, 2016, 11:57:30 PM
Been running v4.0 for ~18hrs now but flypool is showing 15% less hashrate.

Anyone have a similar issue with Flypool ?

Same from 600+ i see in flypool only 540
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v4.0 on: November 11, 2016, 11:55:05 PM
So i'm on nanopool and showing about 11K Sol but I am at 12.2 k Sol on my ethman.  I know its all about solutions yadda yadda, but 1.2K less sol is pretty massive.  Anyone have better luck any place else?

You might want to try suprnova.

Suprnova or flypool i didnt try suprnova i am already at flypool do you think suprnova is better?

My v4 info:

AMD Fury  - 100 H/s
280X - 70 H/s

280X - 85 H/s hynix > bios mod 7970 hynix low power use !  Grin

The 280 with 7970 bios?

Still waiting for LINUX, as *ALL* of my AMD-based machines are LINUX and I refuse to waste money switching them to Windows.
I'm trying to move ALL of my machines to LINUX from Windows except the gaming-specific ones, have ZERO interest in regressing to an OS that is much less reliable and stable.

What are you talking about.. Win 10 is rock solid.. and you can use it forever without activating it.. so it's basically free.

Any difderence in hasrate with windows 10? I have 2 rigs 1 is win 7 and the other is win 8.1  and i dont see difference. What about win 10?

Win 10 is the only os I use for mining so I can't compare, but here's what I get:
4 rigs 6 cards each, 21 4gb 470s and 3 8bg 480s
Total hash 1544 so devided by 24 is around 64h/s per card.
1500 strap on all 470s 1100/900 core, 1850/900 momory, 29 low energy rom on the 480's

How much elecricity?

Does anyone know why the GPU usage varies much (I have 6 x RX480 SAPPHIRE OC +):

Is because of your cpu is at 100% and cant handle mine is  at 80-90 and is working perfectly try -i 0 not 2 i am not sure ehat you are ussing but probably is 2 try with 0 or 1
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v4.0 on: November 11, 2016, 05:20:55 AM
What happened? Before all of you were unhappy that he took a big fee, but now when he said that he might stop supdating the miner or sell them all you started to act nice.

This is the most faster miner at the moment and all of us have to accept the fee. 2.5 is nothing I am not big miner and is 20-30$ per month for me and I never had problem with that. If the miner was trash ok, but isnt so happy minning brothers!
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v3.1 on: November 10, 2016, 06:55:00 PM
Holly shit, with 3.1, i total 610S/s on 3 rigs for exactly 1004W at the wall!

Lol

1.64W/S  Grin

Thanks claymore!!

With what cards and config?
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v3.0 on: November 10, 2016, 02:30:54 PM
If you guys look at GPGPU Benchmarks
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU16/1512

You will notice that the 480 8GB will at max be 20% faster than the 290 under full optimization.

Comparing the results

480 8GB - 120MH/s
290 - 107MH/s
280x - 83.3MH/s
7850 - 45.5MH/s

Using the same ratios that leads to Claymore software

Nano - 98 Sol/s <- should be around here Optimally
Fury X - 96Sol/s <- should be around here Optimally
480 8GB - 96Sol/s <- should be around here Optimally.
290 - 75 Sol/s
280x - 55Sol/s
7850 - 30Sol/s

We are FVCKED if some developer released a Optimized Nvidia ZEC miner however because if its released and uses a similar hashing algo as Claymore then...

GTX 1080 - 262MH/s
GTX 1070 - 224.4MH/s
980Ti - 213.6MH/s

Converting to what we have now

GTX 1080 - 183Sol/s
GTX 1070 - 157Sol/s
980Ti - 150Sol/s

Thank god all the Nvidia miner devs are greedy and keeping everything PRIVATE.

Well how? I cant even get 60mh/s with my 280x
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v2.1 on: November 08, 2016, 11:36:52 PM
it seems to me not so much profitable.

Zcash 24 our 380 h/s = $15.45

ETH 24 our  350 mh/s = $26.39

ETHC 24 our 350 mh/s = $24.03

if for cards 470 480 380x 390x do not get to 100 h / s to not see well card

 Huh Huh Huh

How you are getting 350mh on ETH and 380h/s with ZCASH? I am getting 400h/s zcash and only 200mh at ETH? With what miner are you mining ETH?
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What mobo to buy? on: November 08, 2016, 08:35:05 PM
Its for gaming I already have FX 8350 and Sapphire r9 390x Vengance 16gb ram ssd Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

And I wanna change my MOBO But I am not sure what to choce between:

Gigabyte: GA-990X-GAMING SLI
https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GA-990X-GAMING-SLI-Motherboard/dp/B01FIAW5JU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478549855&sr=8-1&keywords=Gigabyte+GA-990X-Gaming+SLI

Or

ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura
https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-970-Gaming-Aura-Motherboard/dp/B01A33PHLA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478550047&sr=8-1&keywords=aura+970

Thanks you in advanced!

Normally there is consensus in the web that the ranking of the most well known motherboards from the Taiwanese brands are
1.MSI
2.GIGABYTE
3.ASUS
4.ASROCK

I would say go with ASUS not because is better than GIGABYET but because GIGABYTE has almost closed deals with AMD and so has done MSI, the only one who keeps updating their AMD boards are ASUS and ASROCK so based on my analysis above the clear choice is ASUS as it will keep updating their board with drivers and everything.

In the end you choose which you like more.

I also think that its your own opinion because they are both good and there is nothing with them wrong to be honest.

I got Asus cuz is more upgradet for amd
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What mobo to buy? on: November 08, 2016, 01:20:18 PM
Asrock is a good mobo for the price also , i would suggest you get it

What model?
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What mobo to buy? on: November 08, 2016, 08:34:55 AM

Right now unless you own some Tahiti/Pitcairn old GPUs you might as well go back to ETH.

With a RX 470 running at 28.3MH/s get 0.003211 BTC per day
With a RX 470 running at 45Sol/s on Nicehash gets 0.0028755 BTC per day (Should be lower given the higher miner fee)

You are basically losing at least 10% by mining ZEC.

It was a fun 10 days ...

Have you tried mining zclassic? might give you better returns

Where to mine classic? I cant find a pool or wallet...

Pool:

https://pool.mn/zclassic

There is a pool here https://www2.coinmine.pl/zcl/ and you can make a wallet with c-cex.com

And with what miner to mine? Same like zcash?

The best pool for zcash? I am already with flypool.

https://www2.coinmine.pl/zec/

Coinmine is working great and stable. I just started to mine in flypool to see if is good or not.

I am already on flypool tell me the result and what is the better pool
