205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: December 10, 2016, 08:19:23 PM
no one uses core anymore? lol

I use core 13.0 (64bit) and I have about 12 backups of wallet.dat around the UK (and one in spain) lol

I use this as I dont trust ANYONE with my coins.

think about it, your money on someone else's machine, with your password, is still not yours ^^
206  Bitcoin / Legal / bitcoin/paypal based auction website on: November 24, 2016, 03:09:45 AM
Hiya, I am in the process of starting up a UK auction website, and I wanted to implement a paypal and coinbase payment systems, The problem I have is, As bitcoin is non-refundable, how do I legally protect the buyer and myself in such a transaction?

paypal is easy, and in T&C's of the site I can rely on much of the paypals duties as a payment method, but can I use bitcoins safely atall?

furthering this point, I really would like to get a UK legal representative involved if any of you are one, someone interested in this project and crossing T's and dotting I's.
207  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS maybe] S7-LN (sidehack modified). on: November 05, 2016, 12:42:31 AM
sorry, I don't understand "sidehack units" any links? is it a physical mod or software and can it be reverted back to standard?

Also. What power are you drawing at wall for a 445m getting 2Th setting?

I am in uk also, so very interested in either cash or BTC, but I dont know what its worth modded, might have to wait till others can guide me.

212  Economy / Services / looking for a registered business website host. on: August 20, 2016, 05:47:22 PM
Hiya all, not sure if this is the forum to ask, but I need to set up a website for my business, but I cant be dealing with personal vps's, I need a real organized and registered business, so I can receive a tax invoice for my records.

It will be a single web shop and will be dead for a long while, I dont expect to be rich overnight !! so please just a small server with no bandwith limit, I am ok with plesk or a click ssl type or I will prob sit behind a proxy with ssl, I would love a backup feature too.

please post your website or info, I will contact who I feal will fit the job.

please do not pm me "dude I got server no limits for $5 a month" type, I need to check you out.

thanks for looking.

P.S. I am not sure escrow will be necessary here as I am looking to hire directly from my business account!

EDIT also I have googled a few but I dont want a "website tool box" crap, I cant do anything with that and it's not a moveable/upgradeable platform, thats why I ask here.
213  Economy / Goods / Re: Sealed boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh! CCG millennium set on: July 26, 2016, 04:36:14 PM
I want a few boxes will you use trusted on site escrow? im in usa, could we work out a bulk deal for all of them?

that was fast  Grin

I am happy to use escrow as stated above.  I am a little worried about sending to USA, a box at 9.6oz comes in at 13.6Kg (plus packaging) for 50, not cheap.

I would rather hold out for a closer buyer, sorry m8
214  Economy / Goods / Sealed boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh! CCG millennium set on: July 26, 2016, 04:14:48 PM
Hiya, worth a try here, I have some boxes left 50+ of genuine sealed boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh! millennium set, 36 packs of 5 cards.

Yes I am still new here, so I am happy to use a trusted escrow and provide any proof you need.

I am a genuine business and can provide a vat receipt if you need (no vat number as I dont make 80K PA)

I would like to keep this in the UK, as shipping abroad is not cheep, I am open to offers, they go for around £20-£25 a box on e-bay.

I will take preference to anyone willing to take the lot before I decide to split and sell separately (£4 a box to post!!!!)

bitcoin only trade here as there would be no point on posting on a bitcoin forum if I only wanted cash lol  Roll Eyes

P.S. I am all ways looking for cheap goods (genuine no knock-offs) if you have some thing I could sell on e-bay, let me know, maybe we could deal.
my e-bay user is same as my name!

217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 22, 2016, 06:33:05 PM
sorry to say but I beleive that the elite run and rule the planet, they want to dissarm the public to make it easyer for them to control, so I want people to be able to obtain a gun for this reason only.

But not everyone should have one!, there has to be some filtering of possession.

it's not easy having that point of view from the UK as I have never seen a real gun, and most of the population here have not, and would prefer it that way, not me.
218  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sp20e jackson for sale, UK ONLY ending 26th june 8PM on: June 22, 2016, 08:28:55 AM
thtas about £45 right now?

If you will accept my noob bid of 0.1 then I am happy to use escrow or pay directly, nice to find another UK member  Grin
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Now that prices are dropping, should I still hold my coins? on: June 21, 2016, 06:57:37 PM
Been following BTC for quite a while now, this should not be an issue, dont loose faith, take the long view, and trust in the coin that removes us from centralization!

I bought a little at £275GBP a few months ago, really I should sell now, but I want the coins when there worth alot more thanks.

21 million coins divided by?..... whats the population of the planet now! - quote by me.
220  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: June 18, 2016, 02:59:52 PM
I came here as I have a new business all ready and looking to expand into the bitcoin world, I am not new to bitcoin and I have been using this forum (along with others) for my info.

I am a long way off from implementing bitcoin in my business, I am still selling old stock to generate funds for buying more stock, But I will get there.

I hope to start a web shop later this year if things go well.
