201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: February 19, 2018, 07:52:52 PM
So we have some coins by mining & investing in ico.
But we can't move our coins from mobile wallet (android). Also there's no exchange yet. When will you update wallet? We can do OTC trade...

Yea that's really odd. I don't want to fud, but this is all extremely shady. I've never been apart of an ICO/coin launch this confusing/broken...

The dev comes in a drops a little sentence that literally doesn't answer anything. Might as well have not said anything.
The network hash has dropped 11Mh/s from yesterday. Miners and investors are clearly uncertain about the coin and they are doing nothing about it. Horrible marketing.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: February 19, 2018, 03:25:08 PM
It has been another wild experience of going through the ICO over the last 4 weeks! We are thankful to our supporters and contributors. Now, as GRAFT Blockchain ICO is over we can continue with GRAFT's ambitious mission.

Can you elaborate a bit further? Are we really going to wait until Q2 to integrate any form of exchange? Q2 spans all the way to July 1st... That seems like an oddly long time, specially considering this is an ICO that garnered 6+million dollars. It would be understandable if it was a community coin that needed donations but that's not the case here.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: February 19, 2018, 03:24:52 AM
All of this seems really shady tbh. Regardless I will point my miners to it for a few days. What's the worst that can happen.. I lose 20 bucks worth of electricity. I feel real sorry for ICO investors if this turns into some hot turd (hopefully not). It's still too early for me to give a finite decision. I do agree that the price of the coin was absolutely insane. I can't believe they raised 6.4 million USD with a ridiculous price like that.

The devs also keep a stupid high percentage of the coin... 40% of the supply??? What kind of Bull is that? Crypto is supposed to be decentralized.. Giving a few people almost half the supply does exactly the opposite.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][STL] 👾Stellite👾 - decentralized node list via IPFS & ZeroNet on: February 18, 2018, 06:55:06 AM

Current Emissions are very high..
There are 12M for sale at 2sat and no one is buying at 2 sats.
I don't see the price going beyond 1 sat anytime ever if the rewards don't decrease.
Is there any plan to decrease the block rewards?

Last Reward: 18530.80 STL was more then 19K so slowly its going down Don't forget we are a new coin and not even 1 month old now.

yh, but you cannot sustain the Hashrate for long.
If any good coin comes by, community will move on.

Rewards should not be decreasing slowly. Should be halving instead.
Unless this is done, everyone will be competing to offload at 1 sat and move on to better coin.
No one cares if Rewards drops by 5%.
The supply should be tightened a lot.

I mined 20M but am not expecting any gains now unless rewards decrease considerably.
Best rate I can get is 2 sat if some innocent guy wants to buy.

You guys should analyze the market better
Hope the Devs realize this asap

You do realize the smooth "block reward decrease" is common with cryptonight coins right? It's nothing new. One can argue the same thing about a coin that will half the block reward every 5 years. You can argue that in those 5 years the price won't go up due to the constant high block reward (which is obviously not true). Smooth variable block reward decreasing has been proven in the past and continues to do so.

There seems to be some over hype surrounding this coin. I hope it doesn't end up flopping like SmartCash.

Lol yea just ignore that troll. He doesn't speak english. Don't understand his chinese google translate.

You need a solid exchange to ease trade between people. Keep in mind the dev team has only a small .6% of the supply. Possitive price action will naturally facilitate future development. Projects like this take time to grow. I like the vision of the team since I firmly believe https will be phased out in the near future.

Thread Redesigning completed successfully... Tell us how you feel  Smiley

The redesign looks great, good work! No need to rush the GUI wallet. Better have a solid launch rather than a buggy release.

Yea the coin is not even a month old lmao. There are more buy orders at 1 sat (about 20 million) than there are sell orders at 2 sats (about 13 million). The coin has been getting bought at 2 sats constantly. The coin isn't even in a western exchange yet either  Grin. You're gonna be banging your head in a wall in a few months for not buying some this ridiculously low.

I'm getting around 850h/s with with 2x 1060 3gb cards.   I see the price is siting at 1-2 sats currently.  Hopefulyl it will pass ETN price.

Yea I've been watching the prices on Crex24 pretty closely. The price is almost always at 2 sats. It broke to 3 sats several times yesterday. Keep in mind this is on a fairly small exchange. The price won't stay this low for long. Best take advantage of it  Grin

Everything is a virus on windows 10 im going back to ubuntu

Yea windows 10 literally treats just about anything as a virus. It has nothing to do with this coin. I've had it happen with Monero, zcash and even ethereum. Make sure to make an exclusion to the folder to prevent any further issues.

Same goes with miners, Claymore,XMR Stak, SGminer, Cast XMR, GatelessGate ect... all show up as a virus when they're clearly not. Not much you can do other than set up exclusions on your windows machine. Or run linux I guess.

Hey gays http://braavos.cc IS SCAM!  Grin DON'T USE IT

Only buy, sell and trade your coins on a exchange braavos.cc was only selling not buying.
How hard is it to read? I thought crypto people where well educated.

I've heard this before, but honestly why would you even use braavos when you can use https://crex24.com.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 13, 2018, 06:42:31 PM
So is there any plan to mitigate the on going botnet problem XMR, BCN and now ETN are suffering from?
*image*
I don't know why everybody keeps there are massive botnets just because there are unknown pools. I'm sure that Monero miners value privacy too.

PS: I know that there are botnets, it's just I'm sure they're nowhere near 71% of the network.

Yea it's likely not that high, but it's definitely a very large number. There have been a lot of people who have done studies on monero and it's botnets... You would have to be naive to pretend it's not a big deal. I understand many of you are invested and will shill to not make the coin look bad but still, have some sense. Am I the only one that thinks it's BS that a few A-hole criminals out there are amassing more coins than likely anyone mining nowadays.

For what it's worth I think the techonology behind monero is fantastic, but can't help but think it will be it's downfall someday at the same time.

BTW I rarely post anything in this thread anymore since the mods love to delete anything that doesn't make the coin look good.

So is there any plan to mitigate the on going botnet problem XMR, BCN and now ETN are suffering from? It can't possibly be healthy to have such a large chunk of the block reward constantly taken by a few A-holes running bot nets on the network..

In the last year we have seen standalone coin miners and coin mining modules in existing malware proliferate rapidly. I love the technology behind the coin, but the ongoing issues with cybercriminals swipping over 70% (will likely continue going up higher) of the reward is of huge concern to me.

Ok seriously join discord the GUI has been released already and its on github just follow these steps:

Known issues
There are some common issues faced by people, you can try out their appropriate solutions

Extract the GUI wallet in a directory with no spaces like c:\stellitewallet or c:\wallet.
Exclude this directory from your antivirus as it will show a miner inside stellited.exe which is correct.
This file is needed to connect to the blockchain and without it the wallet wil fail.
Mining is standard not enabled you can change that in the Cli enviroment with commando start_mining.
Don't remove any files from the downloaded wallet GUI or add any files or folders.
When you startup wallet.exe check if stellitd.exe is running in the background via taskmanager. If not first step is check is did your antivirus blocked it.
Double check again if you are using a directory without any spaces and if you started wallet.exe with Administrator rights.
Also check if the stellite wallet is allowed access to the internet in your firewall.
It's advisable not to load both the GUI and Cli version at the same time because both need access to stellited.exe

Ohhh nice, just checked they released it a day ago in github. I know they had pulled the old one out and wasn't sure if they had released a new version. I've been using th CLI wallet and have no issue doing so. I actually preffer the CLI wallet, but that's just me. I more so wanted to see if it was launched since most users dislike using CLI in general. I'll sign up on discord, I just prefer Bitcointalk.

Windows 10 - Im getting consistently 70c temperatures(too high) with RX580s - any ideas?

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

mkxminer.exe --exitsick --asm -o stratum+tcp://race.suprnova.cc:5650 -u  -p  -I 23 --auto-gpu
pause

Lol wtf, why did you give us the batch file. Like that's gonna tell us anything lmao..

Damn I only have like 250M STL  Sad

Hahahaha, two guys have 40% of the coins? You gotta try better with your lies  Undecided. You have to make them somewhat believable  Cry. Both of you tards realise you need to have on average 750Kh/s (300k-900k depending on net hash) since launch to be able to get that each. There's only 2 pools with over 300kh/s with over 100+ workers each. So both of you tards are clearly lying. You guys gotta math a little better man  Roll Eyes. Gotta make the troll believable... Come on guys, you're losing it
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][STL] 👾Stellite👾 - decentralized node list via IPFS & ZeroNet on: February 12, 2018, 04:42:38 PM
Quiet day today anyone alive

some loyal stl miner (poor their hashes) got a new problem with the pool and current market, the devs are busy to prospect (or not) their coins, and the trollers finding new threads to be trolled with. That's why it is a quiet day today

Unlike you, the rest of us have a life, troll  Grin
A troll who will soon own 20% of the market of this shit coin to pump and dump as i please

You must be trolling yourself if you own 20% of supply kek. You have to dump 300Kh/s-900Kh/s to own 20%. Tard nuggets gonna nuggate.

What kind of numbers are the Nvidia cards getting on Lyra2rev2. I'm finding it hard to find any solid numbers.  I'm tempted to buy some more RX Vegas since they seem to hash a lot better with the new miner release.  I got a few vega 56s,64s and FEs.

Vega 56 -  ~57Mh/s
Vega 64 -  ~60Mh/s
Vega FE -  ~65MH/s

It suddenly became alot harder choosing between Nvidia and AMD.

Would be awesome if some of you guys with 1070,1070tis,1080 and 1080tis could give me some info since I don't have any atm 😭
How about electricity cost of one card each month when mining this algorithm?

I've been testing them for a little while, might be able to tune them better but haven't had the time. A vega 56 @ ~51Mh/s draws ~155W out the wall. Vega 64 @ 54Mh/s draws ~162W and a Vega FE @60Mh/s draws around 180W out the wall. All these readings were taken with a wattmeter, not software.

Anyone have any numbers for the  GTX 10 series. If the Nvidias are more efficient I'll go that route but there doesn't seem to be much info on anything :/
