As mentioned a few posts ago I booked a 5$ instance at Digitalocean (1 core) yesterday. After a few hours I decided to upgrade to the 20$ plan (2 cores). So two hours ago I started a new project of which 1% lasts 74 minutes. Finishing that project will take me therefore roughly 5 days. Nooo, you quickly lifting the white flag. Your hardware is good for FAH. I guess for 7950 is not installed the appropriate driver under Linux. Ask for help in the Folding Forum. 70 000-80 000 PPD is real for your hardware. To date, this must to cover electricity bills. I'm not lifting any flag (except that of my country).  You are right, I expected more. And yes the appropriate drivers are installed. I'm mining scrypt coins since last year without any troubles. I just set up an instance at Digitalocean. Let's see what I'm going to get for 5$ monthly. |

finally you can't set up a 45 year payment plan in a currency that you know will go up dramatically, but dont know how high; unless you are one of the ppl getting paid by this plan, then this absurd idea would make sense to you.

I didn't have enough information from data sources to make 11 days calculation, I could do only for 10. I believe Your math is shifted for one day, therefore difference arose. Also, during this 10 days, time for payment was shifted for 17 hours. That point could be also source for some difference. Anyhow, there is no 40-50% difference for sure. My opinion is that pool should have historical data and calculations for folders, so there will not be doubts about it. Like it is now, there is possibility for confusion and miscalculations. You can't just look at PPD but at the WUs you submitted. If they're not submitted then they're not counted. (eg. shares on a normal mining pool) Of course I understand that. And they are submitted. Just saw this when re-reading.. I couldn't agree more!!!!! there will soon be a realization by the mass that fiat has become super inflated. It will most likely be when, people have taken so much money out of the bank to convert it to crypto that the bank dosen't really have the real money to pay the rest of the ppl. I mean could you image what would happen if everyone today just decided to go take their money out of the bank and change it over to crypto? The bank would run out of money in hours!!!! This will raise the value of crypto to the say USD bc it will take more and more of it to buy just 1 BTC. I really feel the $10k coin is coming, hope soon It only takes 5% of fiat withdrawals from banks to crash them. The sooner the better. Long live cryptos (especially OC of course)! |

PPD 713 All systems are running properly without showing any errors. The F&H Configuration Guide says: "The Folding@home (FAH) client typically runs well using the default settings." So therefore my setup can't be completely wrong. The 7950 probably isn't doing anything since Linux and F@H don't play well together (yet). I've heard about that. For the current project (9406) it predicts 10500 pts, which is roughly 3000 PPD for this 3-days project. |

Today in frame 3 the statistics are 255 coins. My payout today was 126 coins  The payout are declining while my folding are stable and total folds are going DOWN. Something is really spooky!!! It was hard to combine all the necessary factors into what we believed was an equitable way to not allow as many users as possible to enable masternodes but keep rewards fair. It is important to keep masternodes accessible now for early adaption as well as not beyond possible if the market was to rise 10 fold.
We have put it forward to the community our plans of implementation and am encouraged to see open and honest discussion.
