Friends .. I installed a purse and sent coins there GB. I do not have the bitcoins address (But the bot requires it). I get all GB and GBB in the distribution? Or do I need to do something else?
Install Electrum (or any BTC wallet) and sign with a BTC address even if it's empty. Otherwise you won't get your blackbytes.

Several of the most successful projects didn’t raise anything
For example : Bitcoin
And it will be Byteball next
Yes, you go further when you are driven by passion rather than money

Is there a way to transfer Blackbytes from an airgapped machine?
You can't transfer Blackbytes from an airgapped machine, you need to be connected to a hub in order to send or receive the private payload.

Does running a full wallet help the network? I would like to help the network. What is the best way to do that? I am currently assuming a hub is different from a full wallet. Is that correct? If so, would running a hub help the network?
You help the network if you run a full node accepting incoming connections. You can do it by running any of this: Headless wallet: https://github.com/byteball/headless-byteball (can send and receive payment) Byteball relay: https://github.com/byteball/byteball-relay (no private keys, the simplest setup) Byteball hub: https://github.com/byteball/byteball-hub (a gate for users but that mean downtimes are not acceptable) All of these rely on Byteballcore library: https://github.com/byteball/byteballcoreYou have to follow the instructions in order to accept incoming connections (you will need to get a SSL certificat and install Nginx as proxy, nothing really difficult)

Click on this: then advanced->wallet information, at the bottom all your byteball addresses are listed.

There is now a bot for Blackbytes trading: AxV6ohKFORqIGfGqCZgjK1HlL8vBiNltcWWaI0Rc9yN+@byteball.fr/bb#0000 You can sell or buy batches of Blackbytes chatting with this bot.

I've created an asset based on Byteball, very cool and very easy, except that the name of the asset MUST me a hash, which makes it quite useless for most of the uses. Is there any plan to improve this feature and to add the functionality of chosing a name for a created asset?
Yes there is a plan for broadcasting asset names, this will be likely controled by the hubs.

Be careful with bittrex if you are an unverified user. They just dropped their withdrawal limit from 1BTC to 0.025 BTC without warning.
It's time to switch to https://cryptox.plNo limit, very low fees and nice GUI. When trading bots are active, prices are similar to Bittrex.

How do I sign more addresses then? I just keep getting this message. Also, I clicked on "RECIEVE"->"GENERATE NEW ADDRESS" and now I have a different address, so im not sure if I control the previous address anymore?
Should I have created a new "Wallet" instead of clicking ""GENERATE NEW ADDRESS"? Did I lose the address that I was supposed to receive the byteballs from?
And what does that message that im getting (the Hello again! one) even mean?
Does this program really expect me to send my entire BTC history into a single address because the program doesn't let you enter multiple different addresses? that sounds like a joke to me.
The bot recognizes you with your device ID which is common for all wallets and addresse but it can't know your different addresses unless you write them in chat. If you want to completely split for privacy, you should install Byteball on an other device.

Is there anyway to know when iCN has dumped all of their coins?
They didn't dump all their bytes, only a part. It's logic that they had to sell since Byteball became a really big share of their portfolio.

It took so long to sync my wallet. It's been 8 hours. And my balance didn't appear yet. I send some gbyte 8 hours ago. Is there any remedy to be able to transfer my balance to light wallet. I tried it buy got an error different database.
Whats the current size of the DAG? Im on a slow conection and Im not sure I could synch it About 7,5GB, you should run your wallet as lite and not full wallet. Is there any cap on the maximum amount to get from each wallet linked? like one BTC max for each wallet or how many bitcoins we have in our account will get same amount airdrops?
Secondly now when I open wallet asking for an upgrade to a newer version but in my wallet now have already coins. Do I need to move my coins to another wallet before upgrading or I can just upgrade it?
Thanks for your time...
- No cap. - Just upgrade it.

It happens also to me sometimes, I don't know why. The wallet stays fully fonctionnal though.

-If I use signatures to register for the snapshot, and after distribution move some or all of the bitcoin from my wallet to an exchange for trading and then want to participate in the next airdrop distribution with the same address do I have to register again? I'd withdraw BTC from the wallet then before next full moon withdraw from the exchange to the same address I registered with byteball for this upcoming snapshot, the coins would just be moved out and back in again. Would the address still be part of the snapshot or do I need to register for the second airdrop like the first? -If my BTC balance increases for the second airdrop would that mean I'd earn more bytecoin or is it based on the balance of the first airdrop I participated in? -I plan to leave my byteball in the wallet after the airdrop, do the extra coins earned from the byteball balance affect the amount earned from the Bitcoin balance? Or do you earn both extra byteball by having a byteball balance and the airdrop based on BTC in the registered address and amounts are independent of each other.
- Your linked addresses are valid for all airdrops. - Your BTC balance is read during the snapshot taken for each airdrop. - Amounts are independent from each other. The most important thing before airdrop is to check if all your bytes are on the linked address (they could have been moved to a change address), just send anything to the transition bot and it will remind you the balances for your linked addresses.

you get bonus on GBYTE no matter what.
you only get blackbyte bonus on GBYTE if it is linked to a bitcoin address (which could be empty--you can do this in 2 seconds with a blockchain.info address, or on Electrum).
so 20% extra GBB + 40% extra blackbytes right? isnt it much profitable to buy GBB with your BTC rather than link BTC or am i missing something? (assuming price of GBB/BTC remains same) There is no reward for the blackbytes because they are private and it's not publicly known you own them.

Byteball is a very inovative project using a DAG instead of a blockchain. It has no architectural limitation for scaling and proposes a simple smart-contracting system that average people can check and understand. Have a look at the white paper, everything described in it is already nicely implemented and works well. There is an airdrop to BTC holders on August 7, 2017, don't miss it ! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.0

Everyone has got their Bitcoin Cash airdrop and now they are starting to think about the GBYTE airdrop that is coming in a few days. Ok, it isn't quite as big a drop as the BCH one, but I personally like the extra GBYTE drops more, they are certainly less controversial!
I wonder how many people will forget to re-link after splitting their coins. At the moment mine aren't linked, I need to do that later so I don't forget.
I hope we reach 1 million BTC soon since people are going to relink their wallet.
