No miners? Fast transaction? Conditional payments? No blockchain? And that is not end....Is it really true?

Yes everything works as expected in whitepaper.

Now, we still have 0 trusted registries on the default hub byteball.org and the assets in the wallets are still cryptic hashes.  My proposal is that we elect 1 or 2 registries to start with.  We already have a poll bot and can put it to use here.  If this sounds like a good idea, let's start with nominations.

I would like to candidate to become registrar. I got some ideas for features to be built on top this service, I need a few days to define and present the project.

I completely agree with you. This is why for me I have tried su setup a multisig wallet 2of5, which in my view would have offered the ultimate security, as I would always need at least 2 devices to withdraw any funds. 2of3 would be too dangerous because if 2 devices would happen to fail you would lose all your funds. 2of4 would be OK but since one of my devices would have been a PC in another town I had to opt for a 2of5. However, in this case I had to face some problems which mobile wallets still have when going multisig - they would basically never correctly sync blackbytes, and ocasionally they would get totally stuck and possibly corrupted. I hope that mobile wallets will get improved in future, at the moment they are not very reliable.

With a 2 of 3 multisig wallet, you would still get back your funds if you have written down the seed of at least one of your 2 failed devices.

I also will try to exchange my GBB with GB. I want to keep GB continuously even I don't want to make any transaction at the moment. I also am looking for the update on next distribution whether it be carried out or postponed for next month. Lot of things are being built which will bring value in future for sure with the increase of demand.

You can sell your GBB on http://www.beeb-bot.com

This resource can be trusted? First time I see that somewhere it is possible to sell blackbytes, except in wallet with the help of bot.

This one uses a bot too, it was the first blackbyte exchange launched.

Interview with Anton Churyumov and how blockchain enables trust
Quote
One could rephrase the famous quote about statistics and say “There are three kinds of scams: scams, downright scams, and ICOs”.

With this quote in mind, may I remind all the people who are complaining about the airdrop that Tony never made any promises, never asked for money, and only gives away a great product and money for free?

last time i have tried to recover from seed and i don't see my blackbytes . Do I have lost them or what ?
Blackbytes are anonymous, the seed doesn't restore them, use the backup-feature in the wallet.

Does this mean that every time I receive Blackbytes I have to do a full backup? If I will recover from seed, will I have 0 blackbytes?

Yes.
Best way to be safe is to use a multi-device wallet, then each time you receive blackbytes the private data are replicated among all your devices.

The owner of Osteria Il Trullo restaurant in Milan is doing great job expanding our cashback program.  He has recruited 12 new merchants in Milan in the area around his restaurant.

To get the cashback, you keep your fiscal receipt, walk to one of the two Distribution Points, and receive cashback in Bytes according to the amount on the receipt.

See details:

This is really good ! Maybe it's time for Byteball project to hire a press officer, and have this world premiere covered by mainstream press.

The activity on the sport betting bot is increasing day by day !
It deserved a presentation page, it's done now: https://papabyte.com/byteball-sport-betting-bot.html

There is also this fancy banner that you can use for promotion in order to increase your business if you are an odds maker.

There is a lot of soccer tonight, don't forget to bet for your favorite team with the betting bot available in the bot store !
snip
Yes, I might give it a try! I would love to bet using blackbytes actually but I do not think that is possible unless I do a conditional payment with another peer, not with a bot. In any case, tonight I’ll try a small bet and see how it goes. Thanks for reminding that!

Since they are private, a payment in blackbytes can't be a condition in a smart-contract. Only an hybrid bet would be possible, you pay in bytes and you receive extra-blackbytes if you win.

How do I create a IRC style chatroom like the the Black Byte exchange chatroom:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ByteBall/comments/6n98ez/alpha_test_global_chat_room_for_byteball_wallets/

...do you have to write a bot for this? Or can I do this somehow with the native chat functionality?

You would have to write a bot for this. But it's very easy, all you need is a headless light wallet and few lines of javascript.

Demand for Moneros (and thus the market value) increased as some Darknet markets decided to accept Moneros as a means of payment.

blackbytes are too unwieldy to use. i like the idea but the manual pairing thing and backup needed every time isn't practical. it needs to be smoother to use.

If you use a multidevice wallet, your wallet data are replicated on 2 or more devices. So you always have a backup up-to-date as long as you didn't lose all your devices.

This is like ms-dos times. First you need a native gui, then we can talk about mainstream.
Wrong, first you need a solid backend, then you do the GUI for the masses.

Right, it's still possible to add a GUI later but nothing proves that users won't prefer the chatbot where they can take a bet with 4 clicks (payment included).

Hi I ordered twice from you in 2014 and I was satisfied, now that BTC is high again I think to buy again some gold with it.
Would you consider to participate to Byteball cashback program ? Me and other customers could get a cashback of 10% which is really interesting on such high value purchase.

Does anyone know whether you can run solidity on byteball? or is there a mention of how the smart contracts work on Byteball?

You can't run solidity nor any code on Byteball. Contracts are only a boolean definition that average people can read and check.

Fair enough. was wondering how the distribution and the bots worked then? if not with a smart contract.

A bot is not a dapp, it's a soft usually coded in NodeJS that is hosted by someone and can chat and/or send contracts to users.
