201  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Japan Debates Its Bitcoins Tax on: December 16, 2017, 11:16:24 PM
I don't agree. There will be attempts by the state to its part of the money from the users. But I think that everything depends on us. If we don't want to pay taxes on our income then nothing happens. It is impossible to ensure the collection of taxes only repressive methods. The more pressure States the more we go into the shadows.

If you don't declare your bitcoin or crypto's  I don't think that the government can tax it. So you might as well store you crypto's in your wallet and just hold on it for as long as you can. The problem lies when you want to cash it out. You need to go to a exchange to do that. But exchanges requires your identification for KYC/AML compliant. So there's the issue now.

Now that Bitcoin is going mainstream, it's time to get smarter about privacy than that. Exchanges that are AML/KYC compliant are just the lowest hanging fruit. There are many other ways to link wallets to identities. Many millions of dollars have been pouring into blockchain analysis companies. For example, the IRS is already working with Chainalysis and using its software to identity tax evaders.

These companies crawl the internet drawing links among addresses, and the scary thing is that people tend to leave lots of tracks behind: sloppy use of UTXOs/lack of mixing, lack of TOR use = lots of cookies and IP evidence left behind, etc. This shit all gets stored in a database somewhere and someday, it could come back to haunt us if we aren't careful, since the blockchain is permanent and public. Because of the volume of new investor activity, the focus is on exchanges now. But long term, we need to get smarter.

This one for is one of the most realistic issues on how bitcoin would pull people down. It just depends on each cash services in our country on how they would address issues like these. If they would give info about their costumers, then it would just lead to some issues regarding privacy and that company would just go down. Because it is a risk also for these exchange sites if they got caught by some identity notifications.
202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am so dumb! Localbitcoins on: December 16, 2017, 11:05:12 PM
I made my first purchase through localbitcoins today. I bought $224.00 worth of bitcoin for $875.00 Angry

I did not realize it until after it was too late. I foolishly thought I just type in the amount in USD and that was how much BTC I got. Im so mad a myself.

Be glad that it was only for $875. I've made these kinds of mistakes exchange trading for 5-figures at a time. These are called "fat finger" orders because one misclick of a button can cost you potentially millions of dollars on the larger exchanges. There still aren't good controls for this at the UI level, and there are always newbies making mistakes with API calls as well, so these things are inevitable.

Think of this as "paying tuition" because you've learned a very valuable lesson for only $651. Always double-check -- no, triple check -- your order before executing. I've personally known traders that have lost millions of dollars on misclicks.

I guess that is just a part of how trading works. Because i too am getting confused sometimes with these exchange sites i depositing in. But not as USD but as in trading. I did not know then the one on the 1st list is the most cheap. And i actually tried some of the buy orders below. Luckily the coin then was not of great value so it might be a small fortune but still i learned some things in trading.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency as our Fiat on: December 15, 2017, 09:43:50 PM
Me too don’t think that’s crypto currency can be used as fiat currency. They are not in the state of acceptance yet and many countries are not even getting them in line with their normal fiat currency. If the situation like that continues then why would they even choose it in the first place and disturb the fiat that they have.

Fiat is something different I believe.

I dont think it is needed to have a physical representation of those cryptos. What is the point of it being crypto if u need fiat for it. It's purpose as an online currency is just ok. It already has fiat equivalent so theirs no need to chance. Government would also obviously negate if their are any things that would come out as this. I would rater use atm for cash out on crypto that to see its fiat form.
204  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A Crisis in Central Banking: Will It Soon Explode? on: December 15, 2017, 03:57:37 PM
I don’t think so that the crisis in central bank will leads to explosion of allegations. The central banks govern all financial intermediaries in all commercial or digital banks in their country. They the one who regulate and solve the issue regards to the monetary value of money.
They can regulate the value of money only when there is no other alternative Fiat. Central banks run the mechanisms of inflation and deflation. Thus they constantly climbs into his pocket to people and shift their shoulders all the mismanagement of the economy by the government. Bitcoin changes this system. Therefore, banks are afraid of him but don't know ways to deny it.

Cryptocurrency doesnt really have tax, so if the government just allow it, soon it will become the citizens' source of income. If that were to happen, the government wont have money for economic purposes. Sometimes the banning of bitcoin may solve issue to a country's bankruptcy. Their banks that allow cryptocurency in their own place but that is only for 3rd world countries. If a country can make infrastructures for crypto mining, then tax wont be a problem anymore.
205  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Online gaming vs. Online Cryptotrading on: December 12, 2017, 03:47:24 AM
206  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 12:40:42 AM
Etherum
even to this day, etherum continues to be just below the bitcoin. although the distance value between bitcoin and etherum is quite far away, but I believe someday, etherum will be right next to bitcoin, even get through it.

Well etheruem technically works different like bitcoin because of its platfrom. Bitcoin is just for mining in simple terms. So any coin that has developed another coin is not valid as another bitcoin. For me a coin that is purely for mining are its forks. You just mine and you earn and BCH is the next highest price only. In terms of marketcap, their are more higher than BCH.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⛔️⛔️⛔️ Is The Current Price Of Bitcoin Practical? ⛔️⛔️⛔️ on: December 10, 2017, 12:37:33 AM
I think it is but im sure that the 1% of those investors are just rich businessmen wanting to earn more. It's hard to imagine people in low classes would take time to that investment. The price is growing up not because of the more users are going in to it but the more income you get the more upgrade you will do to your mining system. Any users you are not mining might not be even considered in 1% because they are a product of a mined bitcoin or altcoin.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have lost hope in ETHEREUM - Pending transaction won't complete on: December 09, 2017, 10:18:41 AM
Yes this is sad for all of the people having an important transaction right now that the kitties is clogging the network including me. Maybe we'll just wait a day or two and this will be resolved by the network hearing that the regular gas limit by now is 40,000. Vitalik buterin has something to say about this situation and its all about positive statements. He also replied several reasons why we should take the issue lightly. You can see for yourself if  you haven't seen in his twitter account. We will hope for the best.

this also happened in our place when but in bitcoin. When it spiked to the price, the exchange site our country is using went to upgrade. Because upon the increase many users tried to cashout at the same time. A lot of transaction were lost and still pending until now. The transactions were invalid and it was hard to try and ask for another transaction, but at least the server is ok today. Same case with this, just try to wait for few more days. Because im sure eth blockchain is wider so its gonna take more time.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 09, 2017, 09:29:37 AM
I'm interested to go with the Celtics tonight vs San Antonio.
Spurs won by 3 points only. I didn't catch up this game and someone's trying to have a deal and bet with me on this game for $20 here in my place but I have something to do and a travel to go with. And too bad you lose for this bet.

Spurs won by 3 because of Vetaran Manu Ginobili.
For your information guys! Manu Ginobili is already 40 years old! Say what! And I never expect that Manu can still made a clutch!

And also because of that Boston Celtics has now 5th losses. But still in the number one spot in Eastern Conference.

At least these veterans are doing something epic in there team. Vince carter on the other is just doing some filling role in kings. Dirk is still active but his minutes are declining. It's good that they lose  because too much effort on every game is also stressing like how the warriros were deflated in the playoffs. Cavs also  lose ending their hot streak and i kind of observe their are many rookies making highlights in their own team.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: December 09, 2017, 08:42:44 AM
if you want to know about the prediction of other bitcoin or crypto price movements, you can join in social media like Facebook Twitter telegram, there are many groups of swords that provide information about price movements and the possibility of prices going up or down, but some information you can get in this forum you try to read it in a place related to trading because many explain it there

Or just visit some cryptonews. almost all site about crypto have the same update on cryptocoins. I just have it on my phone then it is automatically updating. Sometimes i dont trust links in facebook because most of them are just captchas on earning small proportion of bitcoins. It is not even worth visiting. Telegram for me is not that useful because they just bounce you to many links but their are really some that predicts it but not bitcoin, just tokens
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Money While You Sleep on: December 07, 2017, 05:18:57 AM
I think that is the idea on most crypto investing. Because you deposit a money then wait for the price increase. It is the basic concept but not all can have profit. Long term or short time depending on how members of its community would cooperate with its developers. Now adays their are more newbies trying to advertise their coins but at least becareful on your content because their are many ways to identify a fishy site and you are one of them.
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC 12000 NEW PROFIT on: December 07, 2017, 04:08:29 AM
Yap i guess that is high but if you try to check (https://www.bithumb.com/). you could see that is higher in a lot of ways. Earlier when i was looking at it, it went to 18k$. I guess this is why S.Korea is one of the biggest supporters of bitcoin. It is hard for me to create an account because it needed some korean identification but it is the highest i have seen in any marketlist prices.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone wants to be in Bitcoin when it hits the exchange on: December 07, 2017, 03:05:42 AM
I think it would be the other wise, when bitcoin increases, some altcoins are affected, so it could be a multi proft if you invest in those altcoins that has bases their increase on bitcoin. Because their are altcoins that could decrease even if the bitcoin increase. The issue now would be the surge of bitcoin investors. After it hits 10K iim gonna say their a lot of news coming out on our local news.
214  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin the way to fight corruption? Or is it the good way to launder money? on: December 05, 2017, 10:33:29 AM
Bitcoin will prevent any fake projects because they need to include the details in the blockchain so yes it is a very good way to fight corruption. Every transcations in the government should be like that. The money laundering can still be avoided if every exchanges and trading sites will cooperate.

I kind of agree that it will fight corruption but not in the same way. If a corporation would invest in bitcoin, then they wont need to make high prices, they would even lower the commodities and if a government would want to invest in bitcoin, their is a high chance that they will have another source of income  and they could lower taxes.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin ? I dont care - I just wait 1-2 years ! on: December 05, 2017, 06:04:53 AM
Last week I invested around 1000US$ in pennystocks - yes those coins worth nothing at all today.
I opened up an account at hitBTC.com because a huge amount of pennystocks is listed there.
Then I switched to show me the cheapest coins and just bougt bewtween 2000 and 500.000 each - noch I got a portfolio of 20 pennystocks.
I made a portfolio on https://www.cryptocompare.com and added them all - and now I just look that up from time to time to see if one of my "pennys" becomes a "Dollar" or more.
That way I guess just waiting for 1-2 years will surly get my invest back but hopefully gives me some wealth ...
I think it's a bad idea. Better way to invest in 5 or 10 altcoins from the first places or just buy BTC and ETH.

Not totally because he actually said 1 or 2 years. Now i dont know if op would really do that but a lot could happen in that span of time. I am not familiar with that coin though and even if i research it, i cant change the reason why op bought it. It was his own risk so leave it as is. I do think it is better to invest in 5 altcoins, but it is not also sure if some of these altcoins would last that long.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 05, 2017, 05:36:46 AM
Yeap I nailed it, I'm working doing this transmission of NBA , rapporteurs are good tipsters.
Kerry made 31 !!! and Moor 23 If ain't wrong, both did a great match but GSW knows how get over their opponent on the 2d part of the game.

It was also tense because durent and cousins were ejected during the final minutes of the game. Although davis was not there to play, at least they have moore play his best achieving a career high. They had the big lead but it was a comeback from the warriors. Maybe they would have a higher chance of winning if davis was their to play. He could add to the defense and even outside shooting for the pelicans.

218  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining ? Tell me About it please on: December 01, 2017, 01:55:31 PM
In general they are just mining you, once you register your area they can mine you but in a way that you can see how much you are earning but off course they have full control of that coin that is being mined. So stay away from mining and read more around the forum as the previous posts said, their are already many threads about how cloud can be profitable or not.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the BTC dominance in Coinmarketcap is decreasing? on: December 01, 2017, 01:50:30 PM
according to coinmarketcap information btc dominance percentage is less compare to early days.what is the possible reason for that?

The more coins are created and the more value the total tokens have - the more they make up a % of the eco system, dominance is a weird metric which they use to be honest. It going down can be GOOD - means the whole space is going UP

nothing about it is good if you ask me because it proves that there are a lot more useless tokens are being created every day with little to no value and absolutely no usage.
and these days they keep forking bitcoin and creating a new shitcoin. each of them add at least 16-17 million dollar to total market cap and those like bitcoin gold which can gain some price add even more (5 billion in this case).

Yap some token can be easily made and it can scam newbie traders who would want to earn coins. I have oserved their are a lot of tokens everyday but at the end of their project, it did not come up and would just leave their memebers on cliffhangers. Sometimes this new traders must learn hard ways to at least adopt on cryptos.
220  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A Crisis in Central Banking: Will It Soon Explode? on: December 01, 2017, 01:36:08 PM
Our Central just gave a good to go written deal on cryptocurrency. Although it was not directly passed in the legislative, at least the bank made good deals on services about bitcoin. Affiliating banks to allow users to withdraw their own money at some banks. It might not be easy if it went to legislative requiring many signatures and even attracting media and i dont even trust medias to makes ads about cryptpcurrency.
