201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoins on: March 01, 2018, 03:25:03 PM
In future will the banks be able to exchange bitcoins?
Now we are exchanging from traders...but when (if) the popularity of bitcoin increase a lot then the traders will not be able to exchange such amount of bitcoins...so what about the future of bitcoin?

The future of Bitcoin will be even brighter than today. There will be more companies and businesses that will be accepting Bitcoin as an alternative form of payment. Aside from that, countries will be more open to Bitcoin. That will definitely make Bitcoin a mainstream form of payment. The result will definitely be that banks will have no other recourse than to create Bitcoin accounts.  And I think this is going to happen very soon. We know that banks are already looking at this idea.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: March 01, 2018, 08:39:16 AM
There are bad news everywhere. And the majority of these news are not actually true. That is the reason why Bitcoin is suffering more than it should all because of these fake news. And if the news are true, the rumor-mongers and shallow-headed spreaders of FUDs will only blow out the news out of proportion to look like there is really something terribly wrong with Bitcoin even the issue involved is a simple one. The truth is that Bitcoin is all right. Bitcoin is as healthy as it should be. Dipping in value is normal. So if we see a red Bitcoin chart, there is really nothing to worry about.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin a Snail/slow coin? on: February 28, 2018, 11:13:03 AM
honestly after watching litecoins for years the coins is definition of snail.
moves so slowly.
why people love it and go dam crazy about it so much i do not know.

litecoin was launched in 2011 and its still not hit $500.
ethereum was introduced in 2015 and it has grown so much.

litecoin is so slow.

There is some truth in it. That is clearly something we all cannot deny. But, on the other side of the fence is the truth that Litecoin remains very solid despite the fact that a lot of new coins offering some seemingly better deals are sprouting everywhere. Litecoin is old. Yes, but at least they are still widely used. If you invest in Litecoin, it is futile to make a short-term goal. It should be long term. At least with this choice, you are a bit more assured of a coin that will not easily die.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Possible to Buy Altcoins with Fiat Money on: February 27, 2018, 08:54:07 AM

The question may sound a little off, but im curious, is it possible to directly exchange Fiat money for Alt coins,? if not, whats the reason?

Yes, you can directly purchase altcoins using your fiat but it is going to be very limited. There are only a handful of altcoins that you can purchase with your fiat directly. Perhaps it is easier to buy some ETH, LTC, and some of the major ones most probably, but with those that are not as famous as these two I doubt if they are offered with fiat. And then another challenge would be where to do all this buying. If through ICOs though, there are many ICOs that accept fiat in buying their coins.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I bought all my alt coins near their January ATH... on: February 27, 2018, 08:12:42 AM
How long do you think I would have to wait until I break even or see profits? I bought nearly all my coins near ATH, unfortunately.  Embarrassed

For example - I bought NEBL when it was trading at around $48. It is now $14.04. I bought SUB when it was trading at around $3.25. It is now $0.54. Bought DRGN when it was trading around $5! It's now $1.41. Everytime I see portfolio, I really wonder how much longer time it will take for me to at least break even or see some green. Sometimes, I get worried they will never recover. Should I be worried? Realistically, how long do you think I might have to wait to see some turnaround? Thanks  Huh

This is a bit unfortunate. But not too unfortunate in that the perfect time will still come that the previous ATHs of all the altcoins and Bitcoin will be surpassed. Insofar as my own speculation is concerned, June is too far for these ATHs to get surpassed. So for now, all you need to do is to wait for that time. It might happen in March or April. The most probable thing here is that it will happen in the first half of the year. Just do not sell them or you are like throwing away profits.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in danger? on: February 26, 2018, 08:33:43 AM
TRADINGEthereum and Bitcoin appear to be separating. ETH is in a 14-day uptrend while BTC is still in a 25-day downtrend.

On an overall perspective, I think both Bitcoin and Ethereum are sharing the same trend these previous several days. We have seen both of them soar really high in the last three months of 2017. And then both went down in the final days of December. There were short pumps in the early January but then the dump was a little more serious and both suffered big losses. Until now both Bitcoin and Ethereum are not yet recovering. But if we notice, the same is true to almost all coins.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any chance for USA to ban bitcoin? on: February 25, 2018, 04:31:51 AM
Every country are starting to ban. What if USA ban? how will it go?

They will not ban Bitcoin. How could they ban it when the wall street people are already joining the Bitcoin saga one by one and have bought their own shares of Bitcoin already. And as an advanced country, they cannot possibly just shut down Bitcoin in their country. That would be perceived as a step backward. While the other countries are already open-minded about the existence of cryptocurrency, USA would do the complete opposite? Not happening.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Campaigns for newbie to get Bitcoin on: February 25, 2018, 03:56:47 AM
Are there any campaigns for newbie to get Bitcoin ?

I doubt if there is any at the moment. Bitcoin-paying campaigns usually require that their signature participants are already Full Member or higher. This is so that they can display their projects more efficiently and effectively in the signature and avatar. And then my observation is that most, if not all, of these Bitcoin-paying projects are only limiting their participants. The interested bitcointalk members far outnumbered the vacant slots. You better start with altcoin-paying campaigns.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? on: February 24, 2018, 01:07:01 PM
just wondering when Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? Is there any upcoming news about ETH that might lead to price growth?

Just wait for a while and it will surely come. There is no way it will not go back to that price. Just understand that for now the cryptocurrency world is experiencing some hard times. This happens all the time though and we know that all these red days will be over soon. By that time, not only will Ethereum go back to $1,200, it will definitely exceed that value and reach new heights. For now, it is below $900, a great time for buying.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin over? on: February 24, 2018, 09:46:59 AM
Bitcoin price is getting down just like ski slop!
Is bitcoin over? do you think bitcoin will recover their price?
I'm afraid, I lost my everything almost 2million....

If you do not sell, you will not lose your 2 million. But I doubt if you are really investing 2 million in Bitcoins. Is it in US dollars? If it is not, then perhaps that is true. Anyway, this is going to be the ultimate test whether you are really a solid supporter of Bitcoin or not. If you are, then you will not worry about the dip in Bitcoin's value and will go on hodling because you believe that it will eventually get back to its higher level very soon. If you will sell, then that means you have a weaker hand that needs to get a lot more understanding of the ways Bitcoin moves.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Ethereum Dominance on: February 24, 2018, 08:13:27 AM
I kind of cannot get your entire logic here. But I think you mean to say that before having some altcoins, you are somehow compelled to buy some Bitcoin or Ethereum because there is no or very few sites in which you can directly buy altcoins with fiat. That is correct. But you do not have to worry about Bitcoin or Ethereum possibly drained out because they are only acting as a middle ground so to speak. Meaning to say, they will also be sold out in exchange of another coin. This is indeed advantageous to Bitcoin and Ethereum though. However, as we progress we expect more altcoins to be offered in fiat.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: February 23, 2018, 06:33:21 AM
I want to invest about 500$
any suggestions what will go very high?

Thanks

A 500$ starting investment may not be enough to make you rich. It may easily get doubled or tripled but then again you are still far from getting rich. Well, try some Strat or Waves or Ethereum and then leave them for at least a couple of years in a safe wallet. Perhaps, by the time you check on their prices in the market, they are already worth more than a hundred dollars all in all.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: February 20, 2018, 07:52:48 AM
Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous.  Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose.  This is so far removed from satoshi's vision.  Premine bullshit  scams like onion.  Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype.  We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.

I know where you are coming from, dude. That is true, scams are already pestering the ICO market and ICOs are now being perceived as solely a greedy way to raise easy money. But that is not the whole truth. There are a great many legitimate ICOs that will change the world for the better. There are so many ICOs that change the way people look at the traditional society that we are in. And for sure a crash is unneccesary. If there is a total crash, we might not be able to recover.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs still worth the tussle?? on: February 20, 2018, 01:29:24 AM

ICOs has being the hot cake for crypto investors in recent times and this has seen whitelists and crowdsales getting saturated up within minutes of opening.

In the process of projects hitting their hardcap early, some investors will have their funds stuck and will have to wait days sometimes weeks to get a refund.

So here's my question; are ICOs still worth the hustle and tussle or is it better off to get coins/tokens on the exchange?

It is actually up to you and your strategy. There are only two ways to do it. Either buy the coins during their ICOs and earn discounts and bonuses or wait for such coins to get listed in major and reliable exchanges. Both are great techniques. Investing in ICOs is a bit riskier than buying in exchanges but the profit is bigger in case the coin pumps. Buying in exchanges is safer but there will be no more discounts and bonuses. So choose which one do you prefer. I do both depending on the specific coin.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 19, 2018, 06:03:14 AM
Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.

To be honest, I have not read an entire whitepaper. I do not do it. For me, that is not even very necessary. But, make no mistake, you really need to check whitepapers. It is where everything about the project is found. It is basically the project in words. But there are certain points that you need to look at more than any other. I usually look at their detailed goals and then their approach. I then proceed to check the team as well as the roadmap.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: February 18, 2018, 08:27:12 AM
Yesterday and the previous days as well, we are in green already. As of the moment, however, I can see a lot of red. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the rest of the major altcoins are in red blood. But I think this is very temporary. The dip is very shallow. It cannot last long enough. Perhaps a few hours from now, we will be seeing green once again. This is a normal movement of crypto. No panic is necessary. I like the time we have now because of the absence of shit FUDs.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What about DeepOnion? HODL or SOLD on: February 18, 2018, 06:58:54 AM
What is soeculation for DeepOnion?
Should I buy more or HODL or SOLD?

My idea about DeepOnion is that if you want to invest in it, you will have to wait for the airdrop to end. There is a very great risk if you invest in it while the airdrop is about to end. The people holding DeepOnion right now has the reason to hodl only because the airdrop payment that will be given to them in a weekly basis is based on how much Onions they have. And by the time the airdrop is over, there will be no more reason for them to continue hodling their Onions. Invest by the time they dump.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: February 17, 2018, 08:27:27 AM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

Well, to be honest about it, I think there will not be a time when such situation takes place into reality. Because, on the contrary, what is happening in the real world right now is that Bitcoin has gained the green light of so many countries and that a bigger Bitcoin community is therefore created. But if the situation you are raising will take place, I don't Bitcoin will just weaken and die. The Bitcoin community which is solid may actually continue using it even if the governments are banning it. After all, what does decentralization mean to Bitcoin when it bows down to governments?
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: February 17, 2018, 02:37:56 AM
The ICO market is already bombarded with so many scams. I think it is not a market for people who are not yet well-exposed and informed about ICOs. The problem gets worse because there are so many promising ICOs and yet they are somehow generalized with the scam ones. There are people who now look at ICOs as pure scams and are only created to make money for themselves. This is not good.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dangerous ? on: February 16, 2018, 09:37:03 AM
i want to ask what makes the bitcoin dangerous? to the point that many countries prohibit the use of bitcoin in their countries. I want to hear your opinion

Bitcoin is dangerous to the government but not to us individual people. I think that is the only way we can analyze the stance of the government. That is because Bitcoin is generally a revolutionary invention that will not have to go through the powerful hands of the government and of course the banks. That is why there are several governments that felt like their power or at least their authority is being challenged by the emergence of Bitcoin. The fast growth of support coming from the people is the primary reason why governments begin to clamp down on or regulate the existence of Bitcoin in their territories.
