201  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: whats is best collation to store bitcoin WIF key and bitcoin address in mysql ? on: September 02, 2017, 06:03:51 PM
you can decode base58 to hex, and store the hex as binary.

i still dont get it., what do you mean by decode base58 to hex ?

do i have tp decode both WIF and bitcoin address ? and store as binary ?

what charset should i use ?

can i later search directly by using bitcoin address ?

thanks
you have an address, like 1QCkaDkCDAtsxG9LrLDbPrSne7q3hM3qm3 decode base58, you get: 00FE83D76016CF60187F978ACECB3480086BDD6443A1B813CA
you can store this hex (as binary) in mysql: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/blob.html

okie, this is new., i am looking in to it,

thanks

looks like i can then decode WIF key too.

205  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what do you do when your idea is taken ? on: September 01, 2017, 05:25:22 AM
then i think, i think how can i make current idea better by checking already available projects on the same idea. and create new plan with improvements and add new feature and launch it.

p.s. dont share complete idea with anyone, just basic features.

remember you had the idea originally, so only you can make it better, not those who have stolen the idea.
but its also possible that 2 or more persons has the same idea. without knowing each other.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How was this tx mined? on: September 01, 2017, 04:59:29 AM
this is  great find.,
looks like you can do transaction with 0 output and set the whole input as fee.

207  Bitcoin / Project Development / whats is best collation to store bitcoin WIF key and bitcoin address in mysql ? on: September 01, 2017, 04:57:06 AM
i need to know which collation in mysql is best to keep the size as low as possible so that the db size will be smaller and queries will be quicker.

i am currently using utf8_unicode_ci, but i read ascii stores more data in less space.

i want to lower db size so it can be fit in RAM.

so what are you guys using ?

thanks
208  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: is blockchain.info broken ? 0 connected nodes on: September 01, 2017, 01:33:48 AM
Always remember blockchain.info is owned partly by Google. They invested $40,000,000 into it a few months ago. Any small issues like this are nothing to worry about. If it goes down permanently, I assure you it would cause huge turbulence in the community. Chances are it won't anytime soon... Tongue
I didn't read or even see this artilce's headline where you get this? Can you show us reference/source link saying this.

And to OP, you only have to wait or reload the page when it happens since blockchain do have some unexpected maintenance or you can't login due to this or even the same with your situation, so there's no need to worry just wait. Tho I didn't recemmend to use this kind of wallet because of this.

what i actually do is get the nodes list and try to add them in my node
209  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Where can i buy proxy servers ips list ? on: August 31, 2017, 11:33:06 AM
i am working on a project where i need to scrape a site, and that site/cloudflare keeps banning my server IP addresses.

so i am looking to buy and use proxy servers ,

but i don't want limited servers e.g. 10 servers for 10 bucks per month.

i want service/site which offers 100s of proxy servers for fixed price like 10 bucks. per month

so what you guys are using ?

thanks.

there are many sites selling proxy servers , but i want some reputable and dont need VPN, as i need to connect to them using php script using curl.

I can try to bypass cloudflare and give you the original IP of the website. PM me for more info.

p.m. sent.

thanks

update 1 :

so far i have found this

https://buy.fineproxy.org/eng/mini.html

cheap and in bulk. will try and update this thread.

Sometime I used this site https://proxy.insorg.org/
You can try it. But if you will do legal things.
Don't really clear what you doing, so read their rules first.
The price is 10$ for month as you are searching.
You can pay via bitcoin.

thank looking in to it., site looks russian.

216  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Mining rigs for sale on: August 30, 2017, 02:09:49 AM
Why would it take 2-3 weeks to build???
Simply because i am a student and I have to build it only in my spare time Smiley

then you have to work harder and and smarter.
2-3 weeks time is too much. let alone 1 week.
whats stopping for person to go directly in the compuetr shop and buy all the parts and get it done from the store.

217  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Zebpay review : Blocks you account for no reason on: August 30, 2017, 02:05:05 AM
strange , did you try their support email or even phone number, try contcting them directly.,

i n ver had such issue, but i never used forget my password.

maybe its their way of protecting you from hack attempets.
but imho its poor practice.

i even mailed them to allow lower than 1k transactions to buy btc .
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoind starts from the very first block instead of continuing on: August 29, 2017, 01:19:28 PM
while starting bitcoind pass reindex parameter.
it will reindex the available blockchain files.

219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto caught by NSA? on: August 29, 2017, 12:17:00 PM
