LOL, there is no way Crypto Currency will replace fiat because of a lot of factors to consider and it will never ever happen even in the future.

It has not changed much in over the four years you were away. The adoption has increased and also attention from government and external industries.
Bitcoin is not slowly replacing fiat, I do not think it is meant to replace fiat currencies.
It is an alternative currency

Moreover, crypto transaction is faster than before. The adoption of crypto is faster and then the price gets lower but still it is popular in the market. It is an alternative currency which will not replace even fiat. For now with the price, it is an investment to everyone which hopes to gain when the price gain a recovery.

The transactions are faster because there is no congestion unlike what happened way back in the year 2017 where the hype is too much and a lot of people are diving into Crypto Currency with the sole intention to multiply their money in a very fast way without knowing what kind of industry this is. If there will be hyping again just like that year it will surely make the transactions slow again because of the number of people that will use Bitcoin and there will be network traffic again. We are experiencing fast transactions right now because there are only a few people using Bitcoin and expect another slow movement of a transaction when the bullish market season comes in.

Sometimes people don't use their mind really well and believe in ridiculous kinds of scams that spread on the internet and they easily believe even if its obvious scam.

Wondering exactly the same thing, how is it possible to use blockchain to pay huge debt? By converting all fiat money to crypto? Wouldn't be the same value once it is converted? Unless there is a huge pump of the price like what we saw in 2017.
Actually there are bunches topic discussing about this "bitcoin to replace fiat", but I'm still sure that it will never happen because fiat paper money is still the most used money all around this world.

I think the OP does not understand completely what a Crypto currency is and what paper money is, and what are their uses in our society. There will be no such thing or event that will happen in the future called "Bitcoin will replace fiat" because of this to kind of valuable things have different roles in the financial ecosystem. Fiat or paper money is stable and not volatile that is the reason it is used as a currency and Crypto like Bitcoin is not stable and it is extremely volatile by its nature so there will be no chances that it will become a currency used daily rather than an asset that is used right now. And these two kinds of valuable things will never replace each other. Cool

Bitcoin is powered by speculations and no one really knows what will happen in the future if its price will skyrocket as high as one million dollars or not. Definitely, you know if it's true or not by this time and anyone can speculate about what price does Bitcoin reach in a specific period of time. Even if all of the presidents in the world told that Bitcoin will reach one million dollars it still does not give any assurance that it will come to true.

I agree with that, I also think that it's just a hyping technique by some people to hype the price of Bitcoin with their ideas and point of views. We all know that the Crypto Currency market is very unpredictable and no one knows exactly what will happen in the future, even if a lot of people thinks that there will be a bull run that is going to happen it can turn sideways or anything like that. But what can we expect in a very speculative industry? I guess it is better just to go on with the flow on what is happening and what is the market trend right now, especially for traders out there that takes advantage of the bearish market situation.
