./miner Even that is not needed, simplemining is built around controlling everything through the web browser, you just input stuff into appropriate fields, and it's arguments only for each miner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEo3jgIAwdsYou can not argue) You're right! Really only need to choose the right miner to specify a pool, the port and the wallet with password.

miner.exe
Simplemining is a linux-based OS, so no .exe's there. There are all kinds miner configuration strings examples in the "help" section at simplemining.net, k3rt just have to spend a couple of minutes reading those. My bad(( Sorry! Edit start.sh ./miner --server zec-eu1.dwarfpool.com --user YOUR_WALLET --pass x --port 3335 --cuda_devices 0 1 2 3

Using https://simplemining.net/ to control the rig. Have a bunch fo GeForce 1070 GPUs. Would like to mine ZCash from one of descent pools (e.g. http://dwarfpool.com/zec). How does the config should look like? Smth like: -wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://zec-eu1.dwarfpool.com:3336 -ewal wallet_name.rig_name -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 ?? Config for EWBF ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1707546.0) should look something like this miner.exe --server zec-eu1.dwarfpool.com --user YOUR_WALLET --pass x --port 3335 --cuda_devices 0 1 2 3Port and parameter --cuda_devices point depending on the number of cards

hi all i noticed that my gigabyte aorus rx580's bios seems to be limited to 1500 mhz. I've used various bios editors and bios extraction tools and bios editors only shows up to 1500. there's no entry/line for 1750,2000, 2250. bios version is f11. can i safely flash a bios version from the same card from anorak.tech that has a mem strap entry for 1750, 2000 ? Specify the exact model or type of memory your card. All of the following BIOSes have straps above 1500 https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/?architecture=AMD&manufacturer=Gigabyte&model=RX+580&interface=&memType=&memSize=&since=P.S. Information that cannot be changed straps below 1500 refers to the fact that low straps will allow the graphic card to boot in 2D mode and not turn it into a "brick".

REBL is awesome coin in making, with special task and imaginative group of designers ;in the event that you do miss Airdrop, ICO... You shouldn't miss this REBL
The defiant is staying put as it name infers... It going to be best of generally altcoin... Lookin forward to it the accomplishment of this venture... much love... praise to the DEV... WHAT YOUR VIEW?
In airdrop questionable condition download Rebellious wallet and to give him your ETH private key... There is certainly the possibility to create a new wallet, but the transition to the MEW website of questionable applications... I didn't trust. P.S. You have the wrong forum thread.

Hey Huys
Just put together a mining rig with 4 radeon rx 580 graphic cards and an asrock h110 Mainboard. Installed all the latest drivers but each of my graphic cards is only mining ether at about 11 mh/s. It should normally mine at 25/30 mh/s per card if I compare it to other people who mine. Am I doing something wrong here? We really tried everything but nothing changes?
And you reflash the BIOS with optimized timings? Made undervoltage and changed the core clock/memory clock? Correct to say that it is better not to use minergate. Quite a lot of negative feedback because of improper accounting of the share. Use Claymore and tested pools. And better use blockchain driver.

You wrote that you need to watch log miner. But you also need to check system log: compmgmt.msc -> Event viewer -> Windows logs -> System

I have a 16 core processor on an old deep learning machine that I rewired to GPU mine. This leaves me with quite a bit of extra processing power in the CPU to mine with. What is the best coin to CPU mine right now? For reference, my electricity is free.
Monero, of course. The price now is more than pleasant. Remember that the optimal number of cores for mining is considered to be a form L3 cache/2

I'm running geth on a server under Ubuntu 16.04, all miners connected direct on the server on 192.168.212.4, since I don't want to stop my mining operation I installed ether-proxy on my laptop to experiment, my laptop is running windows 10 and I downloaded ether-proxy-win64, I have 80 workers getting jobs from geth on server1, my only way to monitor my workers right now is using the suprnova app on my phone, is a very good app, I would like to implement ether-proxy to be able to monitor my rigs without stopping my operation that's why I'm working on a different computer and once it's working i'm planning to install it in the same server that is running geth, Regards
Unfortunately, I have no second PC to test this config. But it must be true. I would check the ports https://networkappers.com/tools/open-port-checkerAnd what exactly is writing Claymore and a ETH-proxy at startup - any errors?
|
|
|
Do not fully understand Geth and proxy on the same PC or not? Why the different IP's and ports specified in the config? Claymore connects to proxy ( http://192.168.212.4:8546), and proxy in turn to the server geth ( http://192.168.212.2:8545). I would put "http://" if not a required command syntax. Check open ports or not. What is your OS?

Hello everyone, I am running a small solo operation and trying to connect my workers to ETHER-PROXY, ether proxy is running fine and connected to my geth node, but when I try to point my rigs to the proxy using claymore V10.1 I got an error ETH: check username and password, and/or pool state, I have been searching the web for 2 days but could not find anything about claymore and Ether-Proxy, just found that I need to use -allpools 1 in my config, I did, but still can't get it to work, found lots of examples for ethminer, but I'm dual mining and would like to keep using claymore, any help woulda be appreciated, thanks
To start completely show your config of Claymore and Eth-proxy. In theory it should look like this: geth.bat: geth --rpc console eth-proxy.conf: # Host and port for your workers HOST = "127.0.0.1" PORT = 8080# Main pool POOL_HOST = "127.0.0.1" POOL_PORT = 8008# Failover pool POOL_FAILOVER_ENABLE = FalseParameters such as a Wallet, etc. I do not describe Claymore *.bat: EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool 127.0.0.1:8008 -ewal YOUR_WALLET/WORKER -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://us-east.siamining.com:7777 -dwal SIAWALLET.WORKER -dcoin sia -fanmin 60 -fanmax 80 -tstop 80 -ethi 11 -dcri 18 -di 1Try this and leave feedback.

Enviroment: bfgminer 5.4.2 running on Raspberry Pi B3 controling two Gridseed G-Blades.
sudo bfgminer --scrypt --userpass <xxx.y:z> --url stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:3333
bfgminer starts up but can not find the blades.
NO DEVICES FOUND: Press 'M' and '+' to add
I enter M + as instructed and all to the Enter target: prompt. and I get "Device scan succeeded" and we move on, all is well.
The problem is that it has no permanence, I have to do this every time I restart, making a watchdog function useless.
In my attempt to find a way to start without having to enter M + all return every time.
I found "bfgminer -h" lists: --scan|-S <arg> Configure how to scan for mining devices
Numerous attempts to force scan all, have all failed. ie: [2017-11-18 21:11:51] cgminer: -S: unrecognized option [2017-11-18 21:13:27] cgminer: --scan: unrecognized option [2017-11-18 21:14:54] cgminer: --scan=all: unrecognized option [2017-11-18 21:16:05] cgminer: -S=all: unrecognized option
What am I missing ?
You need to run the miner with specific parameters: bfgminer --scrypt -S gridseed:all --set gridseed@<serial_number>:clock=825if you have multiple G-blades then edit the file bfgminer.conf: "set" : [ "gridseed@<serial_number>:clock=825", "gridseed@<serial_number>:clock=850", "gridseed@<serial_number>:clock=875" ] Everything is clearly described in the file README.ASIC

I just started mining Electroneum using Awesome Miner for my GPU and Electroneum Miner for my CPU, I have created a paper wallet and entered the address in awesomeminer, however when I start mining i get the following error:
Wrong Monero wallet address, "-allpools 1" option will be enabled automatically, read Readme for details. XMR: 1 pool is specified Main Monero pool is etn.easyhash.io:3630
In addition I am not seeing any etn in my wallet, even though the various pools I have been mining in say that payment has been made.
Is this normal, I'm new to mining so not quite sure how payments work
Just add the bat file with this parameter -allpools 1It should look like this: NsGpuCNMiner -o stratum+tcp://etn.easyhash.io:3630 -u YOUR_WALLET -p x -allpools 1

What preclude two people from choosing the exact same secret phrase when creating a wallet, other than it being highly probable? Would both parties not have control of the wallet?
It's hard to imagine that there are two people who creates the same secret phrase of 9 (nine!!!) words. Besides, you can always use a private key or wallet.dat

Hi all,
I made a big mistake. I was using 6x Sapphire RX 580 NITRO+ 4g ELPIDA with p/n 299-1E366-101SA for 2 months. Then I bought 4 new cards to the same store thinking they were the same, but they were actually not! They were Sapphire RX 580 NITRO+ 4g Hynix p/n 299-1E366-301SA and I didn’t find yet anyone using this version of the card. The problem is that when I bought the new 4 cards I didn’t make any backup of the BIOS, I directly flashed a modded bios for the Elpida cards from anoraktech, and now the cards are crashing saying gpus are hanging in opencl when they start mining.
If anyone can upload and share the orignial bios for this cards, or any modded bios that is working, I would really appreciate it!
Thank you!
Try one of these BIOSes, it should help. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/?architecture=AMD&manufacturer=Sapphire&model=RX+580&interface=&memType=&memSize=&since=

Checked the online wallet. Works very fast, no errors. Made a test deposit of Cryptopia. It would be convenient to add automatic selection of the fee. And of course you need to run explorer.myhush.org

Hey, How much Sol/s you can get with 3GB version of GTX 1060? You specify what video card you have. According to statistics 1060 3Gb gives 500h/s
