I had very limited time to watch stage1 today, just glanced Ganna and Thomas on the road.
So in this very short time trial (15km), Thomas made 26 seconds on Yates, over one minute on Nibali and around a minute and a half on Kruijswijk and Fuglsang. Uhh, there are two more individual time trials, 14th stage (34.1km) and 21st (15.7km), if Geraint Thomas doesn't crash and/or have an extremely bad day/s, no way he doesn't win. Anything he can possibly lose in the mountains, he can win it back in TTs, tailor-made Giro for the Brit.

Watford had control over the game for the most part, but not many chances to score, James Garner was close, hit the crossbar after a free kick in the first half. Reading scored a lucky one as ball was deflected inadvertently by Watford's captain Cathcart. This was probably the last game for Sarr, as their next game is on 16.10, a day after the transfer window closes. Watford debuted their new away kit...looked pretty dope, would definitely want one of these.

At first I really favor the Broncos in this matchup but now that you mentioned they're starting with their third string QB I think they're in a dire spot here. Bookmakers obviously like the QB change for Broncos, line opened at +2.5 Denver to -0.5 now. Honestly, i don't think there is much difference between Driskel and Rypien, can't really expect much from those guys, that's why i didn't take the Broncos to win, even though i still slightly favor them over NYJ. I thought the O3.5 turnovers might be a better pick here, i just need Darnold to be himself and try to make some plays happen. iirc Jets started last season with 4 consecutive losses before that win over Cowboys in week 5...anyway good luck with your pick, intersting to see who wins early season tank bowl.  |

I'm interested to see if and whether Miami will start the game in zone defense or man-to-man. I expect Lakers to play whoever offense on Duncan Robinson since he is a huge liability on defense. Lakers will try to take Bam out of the game by putting him in early foul trouble and limit his minutes, just like they did with Jokic. I'm still undecided, contemplate putting a few prop bets though, probably Robinson under 3.5 3pts and under on Bam's total points. I think i know Vogel pretty well, these ^ two Heat players will be targeted from the start, i'll be shocked if they don't get 2 PF each by the end of the 1st quarter. As for the series, way too many mismatches in favor of Los Angeles, the only way i see Heat having a chance is Lakers shooting terrible from 3pt, like 20% or below. Both teams are 0-3 to start the season, both teams are bottom table in passing yards, rushing yards, and points per game.
Broncos will start third-string QB Brett Rypien in place of Driskel who obviously didn't play well against Tampa, they are expected to get back Phillip Lindsay who is coming off an injury.
NYJ on the other hand are still without Le'Veon Bell, with an awful defense that allows more than 30pts per game and a QB who forces shit way too much trying to make a play. Bookies have Broncos as dogs here, even though they have better players on paper imo.
Can anyone make an argument why Broncos are not going to win by 7+pts?
