Waiting on the Grizzlies to get my first parlay win of the preseason. The game was stopped after the third quarter, some kinda fire alarm went off. Not sure if they will finish the game or not. source: https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1445567646854828041A fire alarm went off during the Bucks-Grizzlies game Fans were evacuated from the building, and both teams went to their locker rooms Here's a few quick thoughts on the Knicks and Bulls: Kemba and Fournier are excellent additions to the Knicks. Randle is no longer the playmaker, scorer, or mr. everything, which should help tremendously in improving team's shot quality/selection. Fournier is a significant upgrade over Bullock, he can not only catch and shoot, but he can also create and is a underrated passer. With those two in the starting lineup, the Knicks' spacing and overall ball movement are so much better. Billy Donovan used a small lineup that included four guards/sf and Vucevic as the center. This year's Bulls will be a fun team to watch. With DeRozan and Lonzo in the lineup, the Bulls have lots of playmaking, pace, and shooting. I'm not sure how that will translate into the postseason (assuming they make the playoffs), but they should be fine during the regular season.

And speaking of crazy production, the Taco team with their 134.58 Fantasy Points surpassed the previous record imposed by the Maddogs and put the highest score in a single week so far. If not for Cincy d/st and Kelce having a quiet day today (just 2.3fpt), that number might have been even higher, lol not that you get extra wins or anything, but still... Yeah that's the real FUCK of the week, what did I do to deserve this LOL Random shit happens. I'm all over Week 4 though, about to win all three matchups that i have, all i need is 7 to 10 pts from Fournette just to be sure. Also, have a bet on Lenny. Congrats to TACO Corp! Thanks. We meet next week, Matt Rhule better sit McCaffrey! I mean you don't need to risk a long-term injury, right? Give that hammy one extra week to heal. hehe

Bump, it's that time of the year! The NBA preseason kicks off today (3rd Oct) at 3:30 pm ET with Nets @ Lakers! Most teams will have between 4 and 6 preseason games to get ready for the regular season which starts in about two and a half weeks from now. source: https://nypost.com/2021/10/02/nets-joining-lakers-in-sitting-stars-for-preseason-opener/The Lakers announced they will sit LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony and Trevor Ariza for the preseason opener. Nets head coach Steve Nash effectively replied, hold my beer, and confirmed his team will rest no fewer than seven players.
The Big 3 of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving will all sit for the Nets, as will incumbent starters Joe Harris and Blake Griffin and veterans Patty Mills and James Johnson. That will provide an opportunity for youngsters, such as rookie Cam Thomas, and newcomers, such as Jevon Carter. ^...both teams will sit their stars, but we might see Anthony Davis who is the only high-profile name that is expected to get some minutes, probably a quarter. Bookies should come up with odds/markets an hour or two before the game, or soon as they get clarity on who is going to play and who is not. Anyways, i'm super excited! The NBA is back!

Inter with third comeback win on the road after being down 1:0 at the half. I'm not sure if this is a sign of weakness or the opposite, the team is resilient and capable of overcoming adversity and turning things around in the second halves of games. Sassuolo was not far away from putting the match out of reach with a second goal early in the second half though. I feel awful for them because this is their fourth loss in five games, i love that team and it's not looking good.... Had a small bet on that same match, it's something i've been testing over the week, home dog to score + get a few corners. Bologna is my next test subject, lol wish me luck!

I find myself rooting for Jaguars today. They don't really need to win but 20+ points and 300+ yards would be nice.
Except Robinson. Don't give him any more balls please.
Edit: it's quite funny how Bengals were careful to leave less time for a rookie QB than 49ers against Rodgers.
Anyway, congrats to morvillz7z, you hedged your roster very well. Hedged it like a boss, James Robinson putting points on the board and Bengals D/ST throwing back it in the trash. I wasn't planning on playing Robinson at all, but with Hyde inactive, it was worth the shot. The two winless teams going after the meme called Bengals defense. #desperate

I wish i've tailed, congrats though! -snip- I've picked a few home underdogs (underdogs according to the bookies, i don't see them as such) to score a goal and have 4 or more corners. Couldn't be any worse than that 0/3. It's beyond me how Celtic didn't convert at least one of their many chances today. This over 0.5 + corners strategy worked slightly better in the Conference League, i was able to nail Alashkert and Vitesse but missed on Omonia. I think i will give it another shot, the odds are decent all around. This little 68/1 banger from the early confs league matches made my day though, pretty sweet.

Antwerp over 0.5 goals; O3.5 corners @1.94Ludogorets over 0.5 goals; O3.5 corners @1.92Celtic over 0.5 goals; O3.5 corners @2.15I've picked a few home underdogs (underdogs according to the bookies, i don't see them as such) to score a goal and have 4 or more corners. Antwerp always find themselves in high-scoring matches, 9 of their last 10 have seen at least 2 or more goals, the Belgians are also a corner machine, producing a lot of corners each game. Should be an open match against a team that is struggling to get results in the Bundesliga, 5 straight 1:1 draw in all competitions. Ludogorets, also an attacking side, has scored at least two goals in their last 8 home matches in all competitions. Zvezda has a covid outbreak and will be missing some key players, hence i fancy the home team to dominate and possibly take all three points here. Celtic have seen 4 or more corners in each of their last 8 competitive matches at home, including two in the EL qualification rounds against Jablonec and AZ Alkmaar. They need to get a result against Bayer, and i'm sure they can score at least one.

<snip>I still pin great hopes on Spurs, given that my express bet with a 2000-fold coefficient depends on their victory.<snip> https://i.imgur.com/EOba4jS.pngLast week, BetMGM bettor had a 16-leg multi down to the final leg, Lions @ Green Bay. The Lions had to win for him to walk away with more than $700k from a $25 free bet. Lions lost, and he lost his parlay, he also didn't have the option to cash out because this was a free bet. BetMGM made an exception and paid the man more than $100k despite the fact that his bet had lost. more on the story: https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/status/1440649532249804803I don't know, maybe Sportsbet and Steve could at least hook icopress up with Arsenal jersey or something. This definitely deserves some kind of consolation prize, you don't see 2000 accumulators every day around here (excluding those crazy accas coming from Brazil on regular basis lol).

This has to be one of the worst combined (premier league and serie a) rounds i've had in a long time, forgettable and quite annoying. Nothing has gone my way all weekend honestly, and i've made some shitty last-minute decisions that didn't pay off... Despite having one more game tomorrow, i'm already looking forward to the next round. If not for anything else, i was able to at least land my 6-leg parlay at 14/1 ( would've been twice as good if Sassuolo scored one more).

0-3 confirmed! 2-1 in the other forum league, Barkley finally scored a touchdown, but the Giants lost. Shepard, Slayton were both injured in the first half. Some crazy endings, Tucker winning FG, which i believe is the longest in NFL history at 66 yards (bouncing off the crossbar and in). Chiefs 1-2 to start the season, i guess nobody saw that coming... Let's see if the Rams can stop Brady and the Bucs, should be a good one!

@Hueristic source: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/christian-mccaffreys-hamstring-strain-diagnosed-as-less-than-grade-1-no-exact-timetable-set-for-panthers-rb/Christian McCaffrey's hamstring strain diagnosed as less than Grade 1, no exact timetable set for Panthers RB You got lucky, this could've been a lot worse, he misses this and likely next week. D. J. Moore needs McCaffrey back on the field asap! Dang looks like Dalvin cook is out. And then Henderson isn't playing either. Golloday probably out. Here's where ff starts to suck trying to manage. <snip>
Cook simply cannot stay healthy...and despite missing those two guys, you're still projected to have more points than me , you gotta love those 8-team leagues, gl though! I have a little something on the Giants game, Barkley to score TD + Shepard O3.5 receptions + D. Jones 20+ rush yards @3.10Barkley has to score for me, it's now or never! Falcons are bottom of the league in opp. red zone scores per game, also not a very good rush defense. The word on Golladay is that he will play but may receive less playing time/snaps/targets/whatever. Shepard should have a terrific day and has been Jones' top target to start the season. The Giants must win this game, can't go 0-3. Gl, everyone!

Taking a tiny bet on a comeback. Inter's well worth it. Well, Inter didn't complete a full comeback but at least you nailed the exact score, that gotta feel good! I must say this was one of the better matches of the season so far, with plenty of chances in front of both goalkeepers, some pretty nice goals, and of course late drama. One thing i don't understand, and i'm not sure i agree with, is why Dimarco took the penalty. I'm not saying it was a poorly taken penalty, but with Dzeko still on the pitch, Sanchez and Perisic also available, why would you choose a defender who came on as a sub to take the penalty? I don't recall Dimarco taking a penalty for Verona last season, odd move by Inzaghi.

Which football team has a better secondary, the Buffalo Bills or the Miami Dolphins? So you're trying to decide between Terry McLaurin and Henry Ruggs III? T. McLaurin is your guy. His ECR (expert consensus rankings) is #16 this week, while Ruggs is ranked #51 among all wide receivers, the rankings i'm looking at comes from fantasypros. McLaurin is WFT's number one option on offense, and he'll get his targets regardless of his opponent, 14 tgts last week which is pretty good. I doubt Ruggs will get more than 7-8 targets because Waller is their main guy. McLaurin and Ruggs will both match against really good cornerbacks, Tre'Davious White (Bills) and Xavien Howard/Byron Jones (Dolphins) you can compare individual players here: https://www.playerprofiler.com/team defenses here: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2021/opp.htmIn short, it will be ludicrous to start Ruggs over McLaurin this week, or any other week.
