2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2020-01-25]Japan to begin its own national cryptocurrency on: January 27, 2020, 11:17:21 AM
Digital yuan? Seems good to hear. Since China made a decision to make their own crypto coin, Japan will not going to missed this new trend, new technology which is integrating blockchain and having their own crypto coin. Whatelse do we expect? We all know Japan is really good in advanced technologies. I just do hope this will turns out well.

2005  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: January 24, 2020, 08:12:39 AM
One day my brother was busy browsing at bitcointalk website and at the same time busy monitoring the bitcoin chart because he is starting to learn trading by that time. At first, I wasn't that interested. But when he push me to understand well that there is actually a new technology that is existing in this era which you can actually control your own money, it hooked me. I wanted to be part of that advanced technology called, "bitcoin".

By that time, he just said I have to read some threads in bitcointalk forum if I am sincere to learn. Honestly, it is not easy to understand but if have determination, we can fully comprehend bitcoin.
Now, we are both margin traders and we share some technical analysis with each other. But I must admit, I am very grateful to him. He passes his beliefs about this kind of innovation and the determination to pass it down with our nephews and niece to continue what we believe in is what I am proud of him.

For now, we conduct seminars within the family last December, we explained bitcoin to our family members.
That's how I have started here.
2006  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagdami ng mayroong 1bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 07:03:41 AM
Ang ibig lamang sabihin nito ay nagkakaroon ng good impact and bitcoin sa community. Nadaragdagan ang mga bumibili at nag i invest ng bitcoin because they see bitcoin as an innovative technology at nakikita din nilang may malaking opportunity dito.

Sa totoo lang napakahirap mag ipon ng isang buong bitcoin kaya siguradong hindi basta basta ang mga nagkakaroon ng isa o higit pang btc. Anyway, magandang balita ito para sa crypto community. It just means madami ang nagtitiwala sa bitcoin as a store value.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: January 24, 2020, 05:12:28 AM
Sorry, mate. As per updated law regarding the regulations of online gambling, it was already prohibited. Mind check this out:

It says it is considered as illegal. Your plan of developing and creating gambling website is indeed illegal in your prestigous country. Drop the plan, bro. Before getting into troubles. You can DYOR for confirmations about the existing gambling laws in your country.
2008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 24, 2020, 03:04:24 AM
It will be left behind if bitcoin will not continue to develop. Bitcoin always needs progress, therefore it certainly need a useful development.
A new coin  better than Bitcoin?
When it comes to the fast transactions, low fees, etc. There are so many coins out there that surpass that issues. But Bitcoin will always be Bitcoin, the King and I can't really imagine there is one who will gonna replace it.
2009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the ways i can cash out Bitcoin in another country? on: January 24, 2020, 01:17:35 AM
You should do some research first if that country you are going to did not banned bitcoin. If it's a pro bitcoin, you can just check out there certified and licensed local crypto exchange and cash it out via remittance money center. Or search their place about ATM machines. The two ways you have mentioned are kinda difficult. Well, maybe if you have an acquintance who also have btc then you can probably exchange to fiat or sell your btc to him.
2010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH: Miners should donate...or else on: January 24, 2020, 12:15:19 AM
What?? If it's a donation then it is a free will to give some bucks from the heart. From what I can see, it's a force donation. Forcing miners to give 12.5% bch is too huge and is unappropriate. There are so many ways to support bch, miners don't have to suffer this forcely donations. I am kinda disappointed to bch devs and owner. Miners will be very affected with this if it's true.
2011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2020, 11:12:15 AM
When it comes to beyond qualities, altcoins were created to fill what was the lacking issues of bitcoin.  Actually, there are existing altcoins whose better than bitcoin but can you see, bitcoin still is the first. Bitcoin will be bitcoin regardless of the flaws. Regardless of the issues. The established name, the good reputation is hard to replace which bitcoin has. And take note that bitcoin has a strong impact to the community than the other coins and to the upcoming  altcoins.

2013  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on the highest /lowest value of bitcoin in 2020? on: January 23, 2020, 07:01:12 AM
I am a long term holder so I'm gonna keep my btc until it boomed. Bitcoin halving is near approaching and I can imagine the massive increase after halving. However, whatever it may happen the perks of being a holder will be an advantage. Also, when it comes to the lowest value of bitcoin, I will not be surprise if bitcoin will go down again to $3,000. Remember, it is too early to speculate now.
2014  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Boy Abunda's statement about cryptocurrency on: January 23, 2020, 05:48:52 AM
some people are using popular names para makahikayat ng schemes. And that was such a bad step for the crypto community. Imbes na sana ay maging good news and crypto sa iba, parang magdadalawang isip pa tuloy ang karamihan kung bakit ganyan ang nagiging isyu.

Tsaka, why do they have to promote it? In the first place wala naman silang any crypto trading program business para mghikayat ng sasali sa kanila. At least, he cleared the issue personally.
2015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 23, 2020, 12:20:44 AM
Since I am expecting my bitcoin to flactuate or to increase when the market goes up, I strongly believe that it is a safe haven for me. Have been holding my own bitcoin and feels like holding and controlling my money with my own investment. But we cant deny the fact that bitcoin is still a "speculative unstable store value" thus making it not that safe as an investment.
2016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of a bounty manager. on: January 22, 2020, 08:01:39 AM
A couple of times bounty manager is the one who was being blamed for the unsuccess projects. Not realizing that bounty managers are just doing their job whatever the owner wants him to do. And it is true that bounty participants are juat joining any ICO or any signature campaigns without further realizing that it is not worth to join for.

Being a bounty manager isn't an easy job. Reputations, good image, efforts and time are needed and I understand where OP is coming from all of his sentiments.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought this stuff with Bitcoin, great way for people to become aware of Bitcoin on: January 22, 2020, 06:05:49 AM
If you tell people that you bought stuff in the internet or even in a shop with Bitcoin, people will become aware of Bitcoin, more so if the stuff that you are showing them have value when you bought it with fiat money, what do you think about this?

It will have an impact to the one's who are also interested in spending bitcoin in online shops. Actually, if people will be aware that bitcoin is volatile, they will not spend it buying some stuffs. Thus, will just make it as a store value just like others are usually doing. But on the other hand, yes. People who do not know that such bitcoin exists will becone interested and aware on how to probably use it as digital payments.
2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy Bitwings ICO token? on: January 22, 2020, 04:36:01 AM
If your concern is to buy Bitwings ICO token, then why not? You had followed this project since the beginning and you knew better than us how much the progress and development of this project is going to. Existing products actually is a rare for an ICO projects. But this is a friendly advice, if you have doubts, follow your guts. Anyway, if it will be successfully launched and will be tradeable soon, who knows? If it will beat some other old coins, then we can never tell.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some exchanges charges are too high on: January 22, 2020, 02:06:18 AM
That was too high! But we can't blame that exchanges. That's how they earn. However, in some exchanges I just did experience 50ksats for the fixed fees so what I am doing is exchanging my btc into xrp and transfer xrp into my personal wallet. You can check out the xrp's fee it cost less than eth and btc.

You can read this link , it was stated some crypto exchanges who offers lowest fees.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 of the best Binance alternatives on: January 22, 2020, 12:10:27 AM
Hey, don't you consider PRIMEXBT exchange as one of the alternatives? Been using it for months and I have been trading smoothly here which also offers .05% fees (lower fees than other exchanges). Also, since this exchange is a mobile friendly then it is easy to use wherever I go. Anyway, what we should significantly look is te exchange platforms and the security not because they are famous or not.
