2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XDE II (Double Eagle coin). 200% per year. 24hr min stake. ONLY 1250 COINS! on: February 26, 2016, 06:51:11 PM

Ok XDEII v1.4 released. The only changes are the POS rate is cut in 1/2 for all wallets. This update is mandatory and takes effect at block 37200

https://mega.nz/#!idkB2aDJ!PpSmnFfxnPbFlbY2H4pjhL1iAisddKIInO3LKTdEXa8

Chain is moving nicely!!!

Vegas

Wondering...how does this update affect the people that have Silver, Gold or Platinum wallets? Those wallets stake at different percentages, as I understood. So..how does this update know what percentage to stake at?

Thanks,

What do you mean unsubstantiated?  Hex doesn't deny locking accounts... did you miss that part of the thread? Or the fact authorities have been contacted, missed that part too? Or are you just really bad at comprehending the text you read?

Funny man, huh? Know what is funnier yet? I don't hear any knocking on Cryptopias' door. Nor have I read anything in ANY Altcoin journals about the scams you are accusing them of. Yet again, such a brilliant statement by you. Where is the proof you lost anything? I see some screen shots, which proves nothing.

At this rate, you may need an Attorney for a slander suit. Fair warning, use caution when dealing with Courts, be it USA, NZ or any other world Court. This sort of thing isn't too be taken lightly and can result in massive fines and/or prison time. I sure hope you have been saving those 'shiny' nickels you are chasing. It is going to take a very large bag full.

With that, I won't spend anymore time with this complete non-sense.

@CapnBDL:   Your not very good at reading are you?...If you read even some of the thread you would know what the problem is... lol and it's not my problem, its soon to be your problem and everyone else that stays at scamtopia long enough.

I get that hex is paying all you trolls to come spam some, but try to read the thread or your typing is uninformative and unrelated to this threads topic.

Delete it then...

You must be joking!! I read every page and it is plain to me that you are a child needing Mommies teat to suckle on.

Nope...I wasn't put up to posting here, but after I read through all your ranting and whining, I felt compelled to defend against your unsubstantiated attacks. I have seen NO definitive proof that anything has been "stolen". If you are so sure this has happened, then why haven't the Authorities been called in. My sentiments and opinion remain the same, until I read about a 'raid' having taken place at Cryptopia. Good Luck with that.

Until then-

Sorry what was that? I'm far too busy smoking crack.

Nice PR, Mr.Business man!  I do however like the fact I don't even have to ridicule you, lol Nobody can do this better then you lol.

WOW...my first time seeing this thread. Simply amazing!! Not sure what your problem is jagrapolite5, but if you put some new batteries in your butt-plug, you might feel better.

I have been on Cryptopia for some time now and never had a single problem. If you spent more time doing some 'real' trading or mining, instead of whining, you wouldn't need to complain about some 'shiny' nickel you lost. Get a life and leave Cryptopia out of it. Cryptopia ROCKS! The best exchange I've done business with. Well designed, super to mine on, competitive % rates, and the nicest people in the chatbox.

Grow up!!... and +1 for Cryptopia.

What would setting S3+ difficulty look like with just an address? do I add it to worker or password? I'm sorry if it has been posted before I did make an effort to look for it, but there's so much to read through.

Go to https://www.kano.is, all the directions are right there, easy to read and follow what to do.

To mine your S3+ to just and address, use the following in the miner config page:
stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333
{your BTC address here}_{any worker name here}
x

You cannot configure difficulty if you only mine to an address and really there is no need, especially with just an S3+, the pool will adjust it for you.

honestly your better of just signing up with a user name. Everything become so much simpler to use and more stats are available with a user name vs btc address.

+1 to that.

Register and create a username vs. just your BTC addy. But, concerning setting the diff...let the vardiff do that for you. It really is the best way. I am mining with 2xS3plus. Works fine.

Hi,

I must be missing something. I don't see any node listings for XDE2. Sure...we all know you are NOT supposed to need to do any addnode= stuff, but, it does help. So...who has any nodes to add to this wallet. Give us what you have for active connections and Thanks!!

Hello guys,
Yes last version was fixing a big parts of memory leaks, but i did not say it fix all.
It's hard to indentify all of them and find their source, i have to work on code that i did not write for begining, so it's hard for me to adopt it.
I am working on it as much as I can and try some things to improve it.

Alex,

You just go ahead and do your thing Dude...you know I am here to help. Always ready to 'test' out the latest beta and send you a 'clean' debug to figure it out. Later-

We are making decent volume on Yobit. There is lots of activity on the buy and sell side. This indicates we are very close to its true value. It might be time to 1/2 the pos rate across the board and possibly add another day or two of min stake time. If we continue to inflate at a high rate it will become worthless very quickly. For most users it will still be 100% per year, which is quite a handsome return. Please let me hear your thoughts.

Vegas

About the volume on Yobit:  I've been learning about how to use/interpret block explorer, and I see that the wallet moving coins to Yobit has been exhausted, so hopefully the supply for sale will dry up a bit.   This is assuming I am reading the explorer right, which I very easily might not be......  It's kind of a neat gadget though...

The good thing is there is volume; having sold real estate for a number of years, I know that one of the best causes of price increases is turnover; without turnover, real estate stagnates; I know no reason for crypto to be different.  Hope I didn't just start WW3, haha.

Way to  analogize between real-estate and XDE2, however, if you look at it that way, the prices reflect a downturn in the current market. To me, that means it is a 'buyers' market and the perfect time to scarf up some really cheap XDE2. My issue....do you know of any BTC banks loaning out funds for purchase power? LOL  Grab it quick people, these prices will inflate in no time!!

What is the best block size for XDE2?
 I was wondering if there's any  XDE2 website/ XDE2 Forum in progress?
Of course best block size is always a matter of opinion.
Actual block time seems to be running pretty close to 2 min./ block which is 720 blocks a day.
Since the min stake time is 24 hours, I would guess the ideal block size to keep the chain
moving at 2 min/block is about 2 xde2/ block. However, some wallets have larger blocks so
smaller blocks will probably stake in the minimum time. I believe anything over .5 XDE2 will stake
around the 24 hour mark.

Anyone else, please share your experience.

Website is in development - Marketing and wallet enhancements in discussion stages so - not finalized

I try to stake always in complete amounts of my wallet.

But I will let it running now for a week and look deeper, how smart blocks work out for me.

Greetz
Steve
Since it is a set % - it does not matter if it takes an extra day to stake. The only problem would be
if the blocks get so small they don't stake. Look forward to hearing reports on what size blocks still stake in 1 - 2 days.

I may be of some assistance here. I don't have much but do know that blocks of 1.25 will stake fine. Any smaller and they just sit there. However, blocks of 2.5 seem to be the magic number and stake much better. I can't speak for larger..because I don't have any amounts bigger.

There ya go...the report on the 'small' side of XDE2.

so no one knows when swap is happening or is it

I can tell you the swap is happening. I have yet to hear from yobit. That would be the most ideal choice. There is not a date set yet. Don't worry it will happen.

I don't see how you can use YoBit for the swap when even that wallet is in maint. mode trying to sync. This is going to cause some major issues.

What is the best block size for CON?
500  to 800 is about 14 to 17 days on average
so I would go between 500 to 600
I have some 1,000 blocks which seem to take
     12-15 days anyway.

thanks, ill do around 750 coins block and see how it goes.

I wonder why price is that low, I made some calculations and with only 16M coins in circulation this coin should have a base price of around 600-700sat.

Are you aware of the security risks involved with running ANY PoS client ?

Do Tell!

Agree...I have been watching this closely.   Wink   I am not sure how many more can be off-loaded at these prices, but I am making strong suggestions to buy it up, while it is still so low.  Huh   Eventually, it has nowhere to go but UP!   MOON BABY!!   Grin

Guys I checked all of our wallets again, and none of us are selling. So that means the same clowns are manipulating the market. My strongest advice is dont get suckered in to lowering your bid. What they are doing is buying from us and selling at VERY low prices. My advice, pull back all your orders to .34 BTC and make them pay that price to dump into the buy side at .04btc. If we ALL do this, they wont be able to do this for long.

Vegas

I for one really appreciate this information; knowing the core remains solid is extremely good news.  Thanks for keeping an eye on this aspect of things, as well as all the work!

I think we should encourage them to buy at .34, and sell at .04... I love it!   I wish i was ready, and had seen that in time!

I know...dang it...I need more BTC!!! They keep dropping the prices, but at such a small amount at a time.

Sure would love to buy more but, I am outa coin on YoBit. And...'Topia, Polo, Trex, C-Cex, ..... LOL.ya see where this is going? Great time for new blood in XDE2. I am pumping, as I am able.

Exciting times for XDE2 & Crypto, in general, especially with world-wide stocks being down the way they are. Everyone needs to be onboard with the future of XDE2.
Stay together and try to make a difference in someones life today. New blood is good blood!

2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Blade (80 Chip) Miner Support/Tuning on: February 12, 2016, 05:32:22 AM
Just thought I'd drop in my 20 cents worth as well.

I didn't have much luck getting cgminer to work, but I'm running 2 blades (4 boards) quite successfully using BFGMiner 5.4.1 with the following config:

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://scrypt.usa.nicehash.com:3333/#xnsub  -u username -p d=2048 -d gridseed -S gridseed:all --set-device gridseed:clock=775,chips=40

I've just knocked down the clock speed to 775 so as to not overheat them, so it runs comfortably around 10-12mhz, with .5% error rate over a week say.

Not bad. This thread is pretty weak when you are sorely needing info on setting up. So...Just an FYI: It took me a couple of hours of trial-n-error before I got mine to use CGminer (sorry, not a BFG fan). The trick was to use the hot-plug command. Once I figured that out, I am very happy with the way the GBlade performs. Never had a temp problem running at either 838 or 850 freq (more than that was too many errors), but do have a power supply line problem with them not lasting long due to temp meltdown. LOL...ahhh..such is the miners life. If it isn't one thing, it is another.

Good Luck

there should be another dubstepcoin start about 2014.
Yes there was. The developer recreated the coin with a new image. He was finally onto something and he disappeared

Still trying to get this wallet to sync. The best I get is one node and it is hit-or-miss. Not constant. Really need a new Windows wallet. I have revamped this .conf file everyway possible, etc., trying to get it synced. Are you going to release a working DUB wallet before making the swap to DUB2?

Thanks,

edit: It used to be a great 'staking' wallet too. Dang!!
