2001  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please be CAREFULLY using trading polish platform Bitbay.net (OWN me 3000Eur) on: February 15, 2019, 11:44:45 AM
OP  you feel it necessary to make everyone careful about Bitbay.net for that thanks from my side. Its showing there your account has been locked for safety reason. After that i will suggest you to keep contact with them about your issue. Try to provide the info they want to release your fund.

If finally you got no necessary help from them than you can update your thread again to make everyone Careful about Bitbay.net
2002  Economy / Reputation / Re: KWH is no longer on this forum on: February 15, 2019, 11:14:06 AM

He left voluntarily - he was done with the drama here.

He did mention one thing to me which hit home.  He said if you are going to take a large system with includes scammers, and you decentralize that system's trust, some of those scammers are going to wind up on default trust.  Which has happened.

I don't know what to say but we are going miss one trustworthy member of our bitcointalk family. Maybe he can change his mind to get back again. Yeah i also beleive  scammers have a chance to take position on DT list selecting by current DT system. Maybe our DTs will discuss about this very soon.
2003  Other / Meta / Re: Stuff the mining boards on: February 15, 2019, 10:41:26 AM
It was by a guy who asked about getting a cheap or free mining rig. My replies were about an early Butterfly Labs ASIC miner that I have been given. There were a couple of helpful replies by another member in the thread as well. I think it was deleted because the guy was a student, and didn't have a lot of money to invest in a few hundred of the latest ASICs.

We should be encouraging people like that, they are the future of crypto.
Its really not fair to move a thread without proper reason. Obviously bitcointalk should be a field for every crypto seekers. Its the place from where anyone can gather relative knowledge about crypto world. If anyone given a post for learn or know about something about cryptocurrency than he should have rights to have it.

We should be softer with crypto beginners  because they are the future for whole crypto empire. If they discourage by us than its not going to bring anything positive for us. I can feel the the contemplation of Jet cash. He is not claiming here for that he commented there and the thread being removed but he is concern about that user.
2004  Economy / Reputation / Re: MASSIVE CHEAT of related accounts **red trust tag from DT users needed** on: February 15, 2019, 07:46:08 AM
Maybe that the fact of having so many of these fake  translators  "working" together on same project, wasn't just a coincidence..
Petchains ICO seems more fake than fights on WWF wrestling.  Grin

Yeah mate this guys need a creative photo editor to change their fake team photographs nicely. Maybe those guys are looking for another couple of stolen identity to start their new project. But they should keep on mind that this forum is not their place to attemp fraudlent activities anymore.

Last 1 years many users put their best efforts to reveal these kind of scam project. I personally salute them for their great activities. Its not only keeping worldwide crypto investor safer but also increasing our forum best in the world.
2005  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Special Guide to keep your Account safe forever (must read) on: February 15, 2019, 06:34:56 AM
Thank you, your writing always reminds me of the importance of account security. Based on that, I often change passwords regularly, especially imail. And this is my step to minimize account theft besides adding recovery accounts and cellphone numbers because imail is key in the last step as account recovery.
Yeah mate my little try will be successful if this thread can encourage our newbies to be careful about their email. I beleive we can stop a large number of hacking incidents by kepping our email secure. Just we all have to follow some safety steps to make our account secure.

IMO every hacking has a connection with email. There's been a lot of users here on the forum who don't bother about their email. If they lost their email password or login details than its not gonna be possible for them to recover their locked or hacked account. So its better to make it secure and store it in a hard paper.
2006  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos It's time to make DT blacklist. on: February 15, 2019, 06:15:57 AM
i continue to decimate all on the workings of the trust system and you here too

your statements in this thread about the working of the trust system are foolishly incorrect
you look like a moron saying i dont understand the system

Current trust system is proper enough to make entrance for trustworthy users. I don't know why you thinking its not fair enough. Trust system only build for keep the forum secure from scammers. Its not bulid for welcoming untrusted people around here.

I beleive this trust system will be much updated with more effective rules in future but there will be no chances for scammers. IMO Obviously forum admin will appreciate the safety of users first.
2007  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Special Guide to keep your Account safe forever (must read) on: February 12, 2019, 08:24:49 PM
Any recommendation for 2fA email? I use protonmail, but they don't have any 2fa, only account password and inbox password. Tutanota might be an alternative but they're slow sometimes.
Honestly hackers target users email first. Because  its the entrance of any account. You may heard this kind of email hacking news couple of times. So IMO its the best idea to secure your email first. That's why i think it will be safer for  you to choose 2fa enable email services in the future.

Use KeePass or LastPass which can save and generate random password.
Yeah thats another way to have strong password. But i think its better to use your own complex one
2008  Other / Meta / Re: [Graph]Megafarm accounts (Merit abuse) Involved 1 Legendary and 2 Hero accounts on: February 12, 2019, 08:06:33 PM
Another good catch mate. Its really annoying to see someone who already achieved hero, legendary account and committing this kind of activies.

I beleive those accounts handling by someone else.  Maybe he is the new buyer of that account. Its such a shame i myself see on a freelancing marketplace "fiverr" where some guys opened service of selling bitcointalk accounts. I hope there will be a great change in the future when users will understand the value of their account.
2009  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos where is your merit sources? on: February 12, 2019, 05:19:25 AM
I'm pretty much there too. My source sMerits are gone within 24 hours of them being replenished. My personal sMerit stash is usually sitting around 5 to 10 depending on how active I've been/how many merits I've earned myself over the last week or so. I struggle to spend myself down to 0 - when I hit 2 or 3 I tend to not merit anything at all until I am replenished/earn more, just in case someone posts something absolutely amazing and I find myself out of sMerits.

As a member of bitcointalk i always tried my best to give smerits to someone who actually working for the forum. Yeah its really a matter of sorrow that when you find an amazing post and don't find any smerits left Cry

I beleive after the begining of merit system users are much connected and active with forum than ever. Its because earning merits is the only way to build your rank up here. Basically we can only send merits to someone when we will get it from anyone else. Its a complete circle system.

That's why who's are in the merit source list are really  important for continuing this smerits circle system. If we can't get merits from them than we will not be able to send it to others. So their activity matters a lot here IMO.
2010  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust abuse and lies from DT members on: February 11, 2019, 09:34:29 PM

Stfu retard, you don't even know what the word "fair"is you pathetic retard.
I can't wait to see your account get the red colors so you go cry everywhere.
Who give a fuck what you think? Who the fuck are you?
hey man be social, its the place where you should keep control on your words. Every single person who discussing on this thread isn't your enemy. you opened the thread and they are participating here to describe you exact reason for your tagging. why anyone can't use "fair" , obviously the reason behind your account tagging is fair enough. it doesn't matter whats your opinion about it but it matters you break the forum rules.
2011  Economy / Reputation / Re: MASSIVE CHEAT of related accounts **red trust tag from DT users needed** on: February 11, 2019, 09:18:21 PM

Agree with Coinlocket$. I was just thinking in the opposite.   Will work on a  Scam Translation List and provide access to bounty managers. Sooner or later, with the combined effort of all of us, cheaters wont get any single token for their "work".
That's going to help bounty managers to choose right person for distributing rewards. where in every campaign those guys try to list multiple alt accounts to get big amount of tokens. Scam translation list gonna reveal those kind of fraudulent activities.
2012  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos where is your merit sources? on: February 11, 2019, 11:23:39 AM
Its seems like that commander of whole troops is missing during war Cheesy. Really concerning dude. Its not a small number who are missing here on the merit source list. I wish they will be much active soon.

Spending time on bitcointalk isn't the only responsibility  they got. Their smerit means a lot to new members of the forum  Yeah its true if any of them remove from the list thats  not gonna hurt their reputation but open a new door for active merit sources.
2013  Economy / Reputation / Re: MASSIVE CHEAT of related accounts. DT users needed.. please take a look. on: February 11, 2019, 11:17:35 AM

I posted on many local boards, and seems that people is really interested and help finding cheaters.

received this by PM,
Great job mate. Yeah people always want to help us to find those cheaters. As a forum member i beleive its everyones responsibility too. If all of us come forward to defend those  scamers, spammers, cheaters than that day isn't too far when we can say proudly to our newbies "welcome to scam free bitcointalk "
2014  Economy / Reputation / Re: I have got a namesake on: February 11, 2019, 03:29:59 AM

2015  Economy / Reputation / Re: Somebody explain to me why no DT member is investigating Eric Gu's scams ? on: February 11, 2019, 03:22:06 AM
Facts are no allegations. You wanna talk on this thread?I would recommend first talking with his investors.
Its already suggested by Xtraelv what you should do for a scam accusation. I wish you will follow that guide line. Otherwise just talking about an issue without proper evidence is nothing but a waste of time.
2016  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTCDev Exchange with a FAKE TEAM - SCAM on: February 11, 2019, 03:10:21 AM
These scams ICO are not creating announcement thread here anymore because they will easily get tagged and that will be the end for them they choose to create their announcement to other forum or just promote elsewhere, thinking they will not be caught.
Yeah they will find another way sure. Maybe many investors will invest just seeing their social media promotions. But in forum now its been harder for those scammer to survive.
2017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Aural version of post to help non-English speaker. on: February 11, 2019, 02:54:29 AM
It's true about accents and dialects. Even in UK they are very different. For example, for me it's difficult to understand when people from Scotland are talking - they dialect is really strange and very specific. Welsh people also have typical accent. In US, there are Afro-American English which is like totally different language.
My accent is typical Eastern European, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. Probably main problem that I just don't speak in English often and this is why it's difficult for me to improve my pronunciation.
Yeah completely agree with you. Pronunciation is the main fact here. As an international language "English" spread worldwide but pronunciation still using by country basis. Specilly who got it as mother tongue dialect differently & who learned it as a non english speaker has another kind of pronunciation. It actually happens for some reason like speed of talk, sound of letters, expertism.
2018  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] Disable the delete or edit rights on OP's page of OP authors on: February 11, 2019, 02:37:26 AM
Editing system for OP is a basic tool IMO. By the help of it OP can fix unwanted mistakes. Update info which relates with the thread can be added by using this feature.

"View edit history" i don't think so that its gonna make any difference. Current editing is good enough to continue.

2019  Economy / Reputation / Re: one forum account connected with cryptopia hack wallet on: February 11, 2019, 02:23:32 AM
I doubt the account changed hands. Account is still using the same ETH address in his current signature campaign.
He joined Sedocoin signature bounty here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096533.msg49547293#msg49547293
Check the spreadsheet- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17JHCQBnFC70s1oyQC_MLJYQW7sZ298RrAmmRsw4BV0Q/edit#gid=968470086
The user registered at no #55 and used the same ETH address.
Without enough evidence we can't take decision about anyone . Yeah your investigation have got sense. But If we think another possibility that this user could be a victim of hacking.

On the other hand this guy is a Alt account holder that you already mentioned on thread. This is enough for him to get tagged IMO.

2020  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust abuse and lies from DT members on: February 11, 2019, 02:09:42 AM

The most sense here is you reading only what you want to, repeating already answered questions, and what you don't like, you ignore it and continue repeating.
You have already got all your answer i think. Reason behind giving you negative trust is fair enough. Stop putting false blame on DTs.

In my view the most sense here they read only which are important for forum user, not the repetitive poem written by same poet.
