Never said everybody should sign-up with one Company. But your words imply that this would some how centralize the process, which is not true. A single MN on a single server would very much so be centralized. There are MN's all over the world.
I just dont like that one company hosts 43,6% of the network. Thats all im saying. Diversification is a good thing in my mind. http://www.exoticvps.com/You shouldn't worry about Amazon actually. Besides they are hosted in different parts of the world. The issue is, a powerful three-letter-acronym from a police state can just say the word to Amazon and they roll over and give access to their virtual machines, no matter where they are located. That's why eventually we need people to use more independent service providers. Just about everyone is going to roll over when they get a knock at the door from the spooks or the guvthugs. Ultimately we need MNs that can handle dynamic IPs and can intelligently mesh. That would be technology in demand...

what's the logic of the guy or bot on cryptsy buying 0.001 drk a time for hours and hours ? 2014-08-03 06:25:32 Buy 0.00968498 0.00100000 0.00000968 2014-08-03 06:25:19 Buy 0.00968499 0.00100000 0.00000968 2014-08-03 06:25:02 Buy 0.00968499 0.00100000 0.00000968 2014-08-03 06:24:49 Buy 0.00968510 0.00100000 0.00000969 2014-08-03 06:24:35 Buy 0.00968511 0.00100000 0.00000969 it goes on and on. Does it save a few satoshis after buying 1000 x 0.001 DRK in costs (compared to buying 1 x 1 drk ) or something? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Looks like a bot trying to keep the price down, but without knowing how it's programmed and why, who knows? A lot of people will just check the latest price at the top of the exchange page, or use coinmarketcap or coinwarz or something which just reports the last trade price, so constantly buying the lowest ask or whatever can influence goldfish brained ADD crypto types. And two bots working together, one selling and the other buying, can move the price anywhere they like if the bots have access to enough funds and the overall market volume is low enough.

Mate, I am running at a considerable loss as it is.
How can you be running at a loss? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) You only need 2 MN payments a month to be in profit.

Where can I download this great malware? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Well currently error and exception handling are implemented in the form of a nearby fire extinguisher it's true, but 'malware?' ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Croutons Continuing Comedy Coding Cataclysm - Masternode Tools was upgraded to v.03 today, and introduces multithreaded p2p chat, although I'm still wrestling with the best way of exchanging encryption keys - that's where a simple keyserver running on MNs might come in handy... Why am I bothering? Well an encrypted p2p chat app can be built up into an encrypted p2p darkmarket app once the basic machinery is in place... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi59.tinypic.com%2Fa3wyc.png&t=663&c=8IT53ruQV0U-ew)

NSA-proofing is the last layer so that you can also be safe vs the US government surveillance.
Alex, how does one NSA proof a network? start by not running masternodes on american hosting companies. (ie, get away from amazon). what are other (none Amazon and outside USA) suggested servers ?? http://www.exoticvps.com/Flokinet take Darkcoin: http://www.flokinet.is/servers - I think at least one person here uses their Romanian servers.

Alex, how does one NSA proof a network? destroy the NSA Or have them on your side. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) If The Company decide they find Darkcoin/DS+ useful, as they should, anyone trying to DDOS the network is going to get disappeared in a hurry.

NSA-proofing is the last layer so that you can also be safe vs the US government surveillance.
Alex, how does one NSA proof a network? start by not running masternodes on american hosting companies. (ie, get away from amazon). Since most Western non-US governments just bend over and let the US info-rape them, this is duct tape at best. A while ago Evan mentioned that it might in future be possible for Masternodes to function on dynamic IPs - this would be a huge help, far harder to hit a thousand constantly moving targets.

Thank you cristal ball, now I know what to do with my money,
The cryptonote anon is good but usability is clunky and they have a huge task ahead of them as different different systems will have to be built to accommodate wide spread adoption. They are also working on block chain bloat issues. Being based on bitcoin dark can just plug in to existing systems. So my full answer is maybe one day, but who knows, consult the crystal ball. But best to ask in the monero thread as we tend to be a bit biased here But what about the tor privacy break thing? apparently it got broken. Darkcoin is nothing to do with Tor. Tor is an NSA funded honeypot, last year they supplied >60% of the Tor Project funding. This is openly and publically verifiable. Common sense suggests that they also run most of the Tor exit nodes. Tor is also slow, unreliable, and a pain in the arse to use. Darkcoin/DS+/DarkTransit will be much faster, much easier to use, and not owned by the spooks.

I like the concept of using multi-sig to do legal tax planning. http://youtu.be/7UEjxH7C95o?t=1h10m15sLike Amazon, Apple, Google, etc having multi-location tax planning to move cash to the most efficient locations. One entity or legal partnership spread around the world with multi-jurisdiction rights to apply local tax rules, eg tax havens, giving wallet access to each entity, but with built-in safety features. That is such a cool and potentially killer feature of crypto. Especially with DRKs anonymity layer on top. I'll have to do some digging around on the various tax codes and rules to figure out whats what. Local Tax Coercer: "Where is all your money?" ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Amazon: "Cyberspace." ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Local Tax Coercer: "Uh..." ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) edit for DRK lulz: Local Tax Coercer: "Where is all your money?" ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Amazon: "The Moon." ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Local Tax Coercer: "Fuck it I'm calling NASA!" ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

I think a lot of people in today's Everyone Is Special society just don't understand that criticism can be a good thing - we want code auditors to do their damndest to break things and expose flaws, not pat us on the head and tell us we've earned a shiny star regardless.
