Can someone advise - I had about 20 coins in the online wallet at the official pool -  http://www.drkpool.com - Just remembered that I hadn't withdrawn them. It's no longer active. Im sure the answer is somewhere in these 2000 pages. Can anyone enlighten me. Cheers

Wow awsome guys! This is great for the project! Will be home in 4 hours, then I'll send it straight away and inform you guys in here (don't have access to my coins right now). I'm glad I only have to send 299.5 DRK and not 300 DRK Smiley

Pool got hacked. Best bet would be to message one of the Dark devs (not sure if it was Evan or one of the other teammembers that ran it). I haven't seen any new updates as to the outcome other than the pool got taken down.

Sorry I don't want to troll but vertoe's service looks more professional to me. I could recommend him.

Not trolling at all !! vertoe is also TOP choice!! I certainly vouch for him too !! Its just that he's not promoting himself much around these parts. But yeah, definitely a no brainer either.

I managed to find the last few DRK for a MN after all Cheesy

Ghostplayer has just spent 1h40m really helping me understand how masternodes work and I'm up and running with his help.

If anybody is thinking about setting up an MN and isn't totally confident, I cannot recommend his services enough.  He's a real credit to the community.

TESTNET UPDATE

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc4-testing.1830/page-41#post-14122

Quote
****** Please Update To 10.12.10 or 9.12.10 *******

Another huge update to the RC client, most of these are stability fixes and anonymity improvements.

- Removed "darksend denominate", darksend now will figure out the most it can denominate. Use "darksend auto" instead.
- Fixed "Unknown State" display error
- Fixed 0.0025 collateral issues caused by issues in the state machine, you should only be charged this amount now if you shutdown your client during the Darksend process.
- Client will only submit 1 transaction into the pool fixing possible anonymity issues
- Masternodes will only merge compatible transactions using the same denominations. For example (500,500,100) would be able to merge with (500,100), (10,1) with (10,1,1), but not (500,1) with (10,1). This improves the anonmity by not allowing someone to follow transactions by the missing denominations.
- Transactions use unique change addresses for every output of each round.
- QT GUI will now ask to unlock the wallet when it detects Darksend wants to do something and lock it when it's done again.
- Darksend is turned off by default in the daemon now. In most cases daemons won't want to run with anonymity (pools, exchanges, etc), if a user does they can override the default setting with -enabledaemondarksend=true
- Fees per round of Darksend are 0.001DRK or $0.00538 at current prices. This means to anonymize 1000DRK with 3 rounds (an average use case) it would cost a user 1.5 cents.
- Protocol version is updated to kick old clients off testnet

This version should be pretty stable. Let me know if anything crops up or anyone sees any anonymity issues that still exist. I'm going to move on to testing the masternode voting system.

Here's an an example transaction from .10

Ok guys I sent 299.47708860 DRK to Kristov Atlas' address:
http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?XqHt831rFj5tr4PVjqEcJmh6VKvHP62QiM.htm

I thought I calculated well but I guess I didn't, so his balance is now 999.98 DRK instead of 1000 DRK (could have been Mintpal sending fees or something). Anyone cares to send the remaining 0.2 DRK? Smiley

Thanks for the help everyone! We did it! Great community effort!

Once there is 1000 DRK in there someone should let Kristov know, so he can start a masternode.

Need help please...

I'm moving my miner over to linux. All is good except one odd thing...

When I run the new sgminer 4.2.2, it runs with my voltage at 0.875, engine at 300mhz & memory at 300mhz

Ive got a sgminer.conf in the same directory as sgminer with the correct settings: V=1.110 Engine= 1160 & memory=1498

even when I manually change these settings in sgminer they dont change.

I'm getting 100 hardware errors per second & I'm worried i'm gonna destroy the card like this....

I'm stumped, does anyone have any ideas/tips to troubleshoot this ?

Ubuntu 14.04
AMD stable drivers 14.4
AMD SDK 2.9
sgminer 4.2.2
ASUS 270x

Thanks

Use ubuntu 12.04, 14.6 beta drivers( install through gui), latest sgminer v5.
I use r9 280x's and works a treat. Don't bother with Ubuntu 14.04 - spent over a day trying to troubleshoot. xubuntu 12.04 I was up and running in under an hour.

*edit if you want to keep trying that sounds like the kernel isn't loaded - shouldn't be getting hw errors!*

try this build: git clone https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer.git && cd sgminer && git checkout v5_0

build instructions:
git submodule init
git submodule update
autoreconf -i
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure
make

-----

v5 let's you specify the kernel when you add a pool. For X11 use darkcoin-mod
