2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: October 27, 2017, 11:07:35 AM
The whole point is that the ICO had some flaws, and one, I see a as major was:
- incentive big investor by giving super discounts
- then allow these investors to be ehad of you (normal contributor)

which turns out that those biggies, have anticipated the markets, and dumped the coin at something near 0.14 or so, which is a good 3x - 4x may be.

Price dropped significantly and never recovered.

But they have been transparent about the discounts to large investors and therefore everyone investing into KICKICO knew about it.
with discounts for the big investors I think it will keep the balance in the market. Yes although now the price really low ... hope tomorrow will be nice

It is pretty normal to get the fundraising going that you offer discounts for early birds and purchases of large amounts of tokens. Nothing to complain about afterwards.

If the project turns out to be very successful, aren't you probably going to run into memory issues with the block size and stuff like that?

Guys I asked the question already, but nobody answered. So when I own EON, do I also own part of the exchange for example?
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHC] ChainCoin - Cryptopia & Novaexchange - Required update 0.9.3.2 on: October 26, 2017, 07:22:25 PM

Neither. Each proposal pays out to the wallet address embedded within that proposal.

This is excellent.

Indeed. So does this coin work like DASH? What is the codebase of this coin and who is able to vote? Everybody or do you have to have a certain number of coins?

The initial governance implementation will be exactly like DASH and it will evolve from there. Only the masternode operators will initially have the right to vote, and I do not expect this to change (however it is always possible that the community chooses otherwise).

Unfortunately our slack inviter is still not back online so if you're still waiting for an invite I apologize but there is nothing we can do for now! We will let everyone know once we have a backup plan in place. Smiley

I like the governance implementation in DASH a lot because I think you must always compare it to other projects and how governance is managed in their networks and then DASH is quite good. So ChainCoin will have a good governance model in place right from the start, which is awesome.
2006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: October 26, 2017, 07:20:39 PM
Happy because bitcoin cash is now ranked 4 and already past Litecoin, I was initially pessimistic about the future of BCH but now everything is answered and no need to hesitate to invest Bitcoin Cash.

It's been dropping like a rock from the main pump in August. It's just a question of how long until it drops below litecoin, and then starts working its way down the list.

My condolences to all who have tried to catch the falling knife, but with the lack of a solid development team, B2X stealing BCH's thunder and cannibalizing its support BCH is going to fade into obscurity. At least be sure to get out before Coinbase and other remaining services release their coins and further waves of dumping hammer it.

Why does Coinbase hold those coins back for so long at all? Does anyone know the reason? I haven't been following that.

Probably because they don't support this but are having to reluctantly support it due to user demand so right now there working hard on getting Segwit2x which they do support ready for when it forks first

That surprises me a little bit because I am sure all these service provides like Coinbase or all exchanges are sitting on huge amounts of Bitcoins and would want all forks to be traded in order to redeem their own free tokens. It's a bit weird if they try to fight against that.

See you in Moscow!

nice update . hope to see more after that conference.

when is the pre sale by the way? how about the ico date?

The pre-sale is live now! To join it, please follow the instructions - https://[Suspicious link removed]/xFRRAe
The ICO starts on October, 31

thanks for your quick reply.  what is the soft cap in the ico dev? any details for that please

If I am not mistaken, soft cap is $5 million

$5 million is correct. You can find it in their white paper. $15 million is the hard cap.

We decided to remove the softcap as we are the ready working project so there's no need in the minimal sum.
The softcap is necessary when the project is only "a plan" and need a particular amount of money to be launched.

That makes perfect sense! Too many project now collection millions of dollars and they don't even have MVP. By the way, I am using your Chrome extension and it is really good! Thanks and good luck!

Is the Chrome extension also good for private people or is it only useful for companies?
2008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: October 22, 2017, 11:15:39 PM
Do all token holders possess part of the exchange or is that a separate endeavor that you guys are undertaking?
2009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KAPU - The first Archaeological Blockchain - on: October 22, 2017, 11:12:57 PM
Kapu is very responsive to fix this problem, because the team has worked really hard to bring the reputation this far.  Am confident in Kapu project and having raised over 600,000 USD this is worth every penny to ensure that through Kapu, large pieces of human history will never be lost to time again.
I'm glad there is another way to save human history cause many times in history we left without artifact from several reasons. Having blookchain like another way (maybe the best) to save it makes this project so special. I believe in KAPU!

Blockchain can only provide a superior administrative tool. In the end those physical "assets" still need to be safely stored somewhere.
To further guarantee the stored artifacts and relics secured, not tampered with accurate data information of those artifacts, Kapu blockchain would provide this platform for a database where they can all be found and tracked.

But wouldn't that only take full effect if, for instance, the internet of things becomes reality? It would be nice to have small GPS trackers on those artifacts which communicate continuously with the blockchain Smiley

Just bumped into this coin. I think interesting with potential in theory. But it seems not much active development going on. Any insights what's up with this project?

Currently there is a vote in progress about implementin Dev funding, 45%-45%-10% split of blockreward (like Dash) has.

The voting lasts till 4.th of November.

If the voting goes through, as it currently seems it will, 42.42% have voted YES on the dev funding. Then chaincoin will have the proper tools to bring in paid devs. (currently only community work is being done in chc).

Will the development fund then properly controlled by a multi signature wallet or all by one person?

Yes yes smilles all around and happy days but I bet Bitcoin Jesus could not turn water into wine like the real Jesus if asked and Dr Dolittle in the center could not move bitcoin from the genesis block like the real satoshi if asked but the cool dood on the left of photo looks like a serious playa who could recommend a good hooka  Grin

I find your description quite amusing I must say Cheesy Thank you for making me smile Wink
2015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] #TGE-SH Synthium Health - Transforming Healthcare Supply Chain on: October 17, 2017, 03:35:20 PM
Nice, good to see that you actually built something. I am wondering, do you have access to an existing customer base already?

Thank you. It took over 27,000 man hours to accomplish this and have more features to be included. We signed up 409 members (providers and suppliers included) and we can reach out to more, after crowdsale. One of our immediate goals is then to hand hold them into transacting. However, we do have few low volume customers that are transacting.

That means a few million dollars already went into the development of the platform. Not bad Wink
2016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: October 17, 2017, 03:33:54 PM
Hello, when Exscudo (EON) listed in exchange ?
Hopefully Price EON can up high.

Hi! We are launching our own exchange, trading starts in Q1 2018 Smiley
looking forward to the second quarter of 2018, the spring will be hot and all altcoins will start glowing, it's time to fix the part...

How are you planning to get/pull sufficient liquidity  to your exchange? Do you have funds to make markets? I don't think it is that easy these days to attract investors to an exchange unless it is absolutely outstanding.

ChainCoin $CHC is now LIVE on http://mnrank.com

Really cool website and a useful tool. Came across that for the first time. Keep up the good work!

I know many who got burned really badly by BCC; it won´t be easy to build up confidence again (if there ever was)

In which way did they get burned? First of all, for many this was a golden airdrop. I am sure those who bought into the coin did have their reasons.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KAPU - The first Archaeological Blockchain - on: October 17, 2017, 03:15:22 PM
It is a niche project, which is really cool because on the one hand, not too many others will be interested in joining competition with this project and on the other hand there is certainly a community that will like this a lot and grow this slowly into a relevant database.
This is unique project about archeological blockchain and no competitor yet for now, so it will make this project easy to well known by all peoples around the world. So this is a big chance to Kapu to growing rapidly

To make the network grow rapidly, you would really have to do a lot of well targeted advertising. I think that most people who are into archeology are in turn not that familiar with blockchain technology Wink
most people are not familiar with the Blockchain and technology in general. it is an evolution in progress, is different from 3 years ago, now, c' is a lot more echo, so many speak of it, and will always be more. the growth of the attention is fast, let's see in few months what happens

I guess the team is familiar with that stuff and will directly market the advantages to the right people.
