Maybe no one thought that Real Madrid would face Chelsea again in the quarter-finals, considering that the two met in the same round last season. Then there is Benfica who will play against Inter, it seems this is the first time for the two teams to meet in a UCL match. Then, there was Manchester City against Bayern Munich, both of which met in the UCL group phase of the 13/14 season. Then there was the last Milan against Napoli, the two also met for the first time in the UCL match and this was a match for the Italian club in the quarter final round.

If we look at the semifinal draw, I think there are several possibilities that we will see Napoli vs Benfica and Real Madrid vs Manchester City in the semifinals later.

I would not want to pick a favorite out of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City, but for all of them they couldn't have picked a harder route to the final. For Bayern, they would have to beat Manchester City and then probably Real Madrid. It can't get harder than that. But it also couldn't get any harder for Manchester City and Real Madrid either.

The allegedly weaker teams play against each other with Benfica Lissabon against Inter and Napoli against Milan. I think Napoli is a big favorite here and I would also say that Benfica is not to be underestimated either. They have been very solid so far and play some dangerous offensive soccer.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 17, 2023, 10:11:37 AM
I think Barcelona will win both of those games, and even though el classico is always different in a sense, it will not be too shocking this year. Barcelona is not in europa anymore whereas Real is still in UCL and that is the only reason. Have you seen how tired the players were by the end of the liverpool game?

Benzema basically hopping, even Vinicious, who is a fast player with a big lung, ended up not running  after the ball for the last minutes. Sure that could be because they knew they won, but they looked gassed a lot. I think this type of schedule will make them more and more tired, so Barcelona players will be more rested and be easily winning the game.
Barcelona have won 3 of their last 5 matches against Real Madrid in El Clasico since last season until this season. This time Barcelona is also very likely to win their 4th El Clasico at Camp Nou because their performance is good. Then is it certain, of course not because I think El Clasico is very difficult to predict especially this season.

Barcelona's strong defense will make Real Madrid look for a solution, but Barcelona are not only good in defense but they are also sharp in strikers. Lewandowski is very dangerous, as well as Raphinha who is getting used to scoring goals. Pedri's return will certainly bring good hope for a better game, but I doubt he can appear in El Clasico this time.

I disagree. Even though it is a game in Camp Nou for Real Madrid, they have now shown a very solid performance against Liverpool and demonstrated how good they are at exercising control over the game. Barcelona has the advantage that Real Madrid can't afford to lose and has to be aggressive, but that doesn't mean Barcelona can just wait and see. Real's offense is able to score anytime.

When you mention sharp strikers on Barcelona's side, I am not sure whether they are in top shape right now. Lewandowski had a great start but slowed down a lot in overall scoring. If I had to make a guess I think that game is going to end in a tie. Real Madrid is too strong to lose it and in Copa del Rey they could have also won the game. But Barcelona is not so dominant that I wouid say they are likely to beat Real. It's going to be a great fight.

real madrid in the champions league is not the same as real madrid in the league and for this reason that every time we are playing against barcelona we are losing, you can see the odds at the bookmakers:

Barcelona = @2.21
Real Madrid = @3.30

So you have to ask yourself why the bookmakers are giving this advantage odd to barcelona and not to real madrid who won the champions league match? And you'll find out that the reason is quite simple: in La Liga, Real Madrid hasn't performed well this season, Benzema has been injured then gets better and then comes back injured, and Real Madrid's defense is worse than Barcelona's, while barcelona manage to play well in la liga, they have good attack and defense, not to mention that they have a young team. I particularly still don't know if I'll bet on this game

Real Valladolid - Athletic Bilbao

Real Valladolid comes to this game with mixed results in the last 5 games, being that they managed to have 1 victory, 2 defeats and 2 draws, in 25 games they only managed to score 19 goals, but conceded 35 goals, they have serious problems in the attack. on the other hand we have Athletic Bilbao who in the last 5 games managed only 1 victory, suffered 3 defeats and had 1 draw, they also have not been performing well this season, but they are better than their opponent when compared to the number of goals in the 25 games. i think this is a very difficult game to predict the result

I don't know and I can't recall, but have you ever seen a bookmaker giving the better odds to an away team that plays against the first in the table? Of course they give the advantage to Barceona. Statistics tell them to. I also didn't say that Real Madrid is winning this one. My guess still is a tie.

There is also some other aspect I would like to raise. When you say this is a La Liga game and not the Champions League, that is true obviously. But this is not just any La Liga game. It is the clasico that this year will decide whether Barcelona becomes an early La Liga winner this season. There is a lot to be played for. If Real Madrid loses, it is over. So saying this is just a normal La Liga game and Real Madrid will play against Barcelona as they played against Mallorca, that is just not true. Keep in mind that Barcelona lost only two games this season and there was only a single game in La Liga where they conceded 3 goals, and guess against whom: Real Madrid.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 17, 2023, 08:35:26 AM
So it's a bit difficult to say Arsenal were ultimately thwarted by the mediocare team, but that's the end of the story of Arsenal's journey in the Europa League this season. Only Lol, people are even too sure that Arsenal advanced to the final this season.

I've said it was a difficult game for Arsenal because I believe Sporting will do everything to score goals. Granit Xhaka's goals were good, but Pedro Goncalves's was absolutely the best all season. Of course it was disappointing home match for Arsenal, tragic after being favorites this season to reach the final and win the Europa League. So now Arsenal only have to focus on maintaining their points advantage in the Premier League by playing well and avoiding defeat. The odds are good, but I think they will definitely be affected by the failure of the Europa League.

I completely agree with you up to that point where Arsenal scored an early goal in the 19th minute. To be honest I thought that that goal is the opener to the next round in the Europa League because the set up was perfect for Arsenal. Take the lead in their home stadium, concentrate on the defense and wait for their chances with fast counter attacks and their strong offense with the people in the stadium in the back.

But Sporting stayed strong enough and was patiently waiting for their chance. A second goal would have been the end for them, but this way they could keep believing in themselves and then in overtime they knew that both is fine, either to score a goal or to take it to the penalties. A great achievement for Sporting that deserves respect.

1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 16, 2023, 06:47:39 PM
Bayern Munich and Dortmund are likely to pull away from the others for the league title race.

It isn't surprising at all of course. In fact, Leipzig could have been more competitive than this in addition to them. But Leipzig got so many draws that caused them be a little behind those two teams. Dortmund have what is needed for the championship now. They have been in a great shape in the Bundesliga for a long time. That draw against Schalke wasn't good of course. Maybe it was a derby game but still Dortmund should have been able to get a win there. This helped Bayern Munich a little but still there is only a two-point gap between.

The next game between Bayern Munich and Dortmund is going to be in Allianz Arena which is quite a problem for Dortmund. It is very important for the title race and if Bayern Munich win then I think that it is over for Dortmund.

I am not so sure about Dortmund though. Firstly, they are going to play against Bayern in the game after the next one. And they are also too inconsistent and lose a game when a week before they played like a future Champions League winner. I really don't understand what can change their minds over the course of a week such that you can't even recognize it is the same team that won like a grand champion the week before.

For Bayern the next two games are key. If they can win against Leverkusen and then beat Dortmund in their home game, I have serious doubts that anyone could still stop them. The games still have to be played and nothing is over yet, but those full six points with than eight games left and the better goal statistics is probably the 11th title in a row for them.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 16, 2023, 06:19:24 PM
Has the game between Manchester City and West Ham been rescheduled? If that is the case, what is the reason for that? I also can't find it on sportsbetting websites.

I think that Arsenal has a little advantage that they have their game before Manchester City has theirs. Of course if you lose it you give an extra reason for motivation to Man City, but if you win it you can raise the pressure for Man City as well. If you lose it, there is still the chance Man City loses, too. But from Man City's perspective I think it is tougher when Arsenal already won and they can only close the gap to what it used to be before the game.

I also noticed that the game between Brighton and Manchester United is more interesting than you would think at first glance. Brighton is 8 points behind, but also has 1 games less. If they win that game, they could actually get very close if they also win the catch-up game.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 06:01:54 PM
I will wait tomorrow to see the draw results. I think Real Madrid is more likely to meet one of the Serie A teams than one of the Premier League teams. If that turns out to be true, then I hope Real Madrid will meet Napoli, not Inter or Milan. Napoli is deserve for Real Madrid because I don't expect them to meet the same team in the Champions League as last season. But let's wait for the drawing results tomorrow.
It will be interesting to wait for the results of the draw for the last 8 of the Champions League and I think representatives from one country will most likely meet because the placement of one country plot has been abolished, three representatives from Serie-A, two representatives from the Premier League, one representative from La Liga, one representatives from the Bundesliga and one representative from Portugal.

If Real Madrid meets Napoli then this will be the big match that many football lovers have been waiting for, because the last time they met was in 2017 in the race for a quarter-final ticket which was won by Real Madrid. So it will be very difficult for us to predict the course of the match, especially since Napoli is currently in its best form in both Serie A and the Champions League.

This draw will decide whether we are going to lose some big names in the quarter finals already. In a worst case scenario we have two matchups between Real Madrid, Bayern, Man City and Napoli. I wouldn't like that. I hope for some of the bigger names to reach the final. Sure the best teams hopefully win, no matter who that is, but that's up to everyone's taste in the end.

First of all let's wait and see whether the UEFA is able to conduct the draw without any mistakes as they happened some time ago. Obviously, there were claims that it might have been rigged, but that probably goes a bit too far.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 15, 2023, 08:25:36 PM
In the end it may be true that Real madrid will qualify easily for the quarter-finals by only drawing 0-0 or something. It's okay to lose 0-2, but Real Madrid's current record is fantastic, especially since they won 6 of their last 7 matches against Liverpool in the Champions League.

I will watch this match for one reason, it is because I want to see how far Liverpool have a chance to qualify for the next round. It might be interesting if Liverpool could force Madrid into extra time, but it's definitely hard to tell without watching the match.
I am more interested in your words maybe real madrid losing 0-2 is not a bad thing for them. but I don't think those are the right words for real madrid because this season real madrid seems to focus strongly on being able to win the UCL this season. Well, this game has entered the 17th minute and Liverpool should be able to press earlier, but it is quite difficult for them to do this because Real Madrid defense is quite strong.

for extra time I don't think it will happen because Real Madrid can take advantage to play with a draw enough for them to qualify for the next round. Napoli vs Eintracht Frankfurt is also still 0-0.

On the one hand I thought that Liverpool will start more aggressively into the game, but then I also knew that Real Madrid understands too well when to take speed out of the game as that is what they want to prevent from happening. Don't allow for Liverpool to get going.

Look how Kroos is doing it even when he could sometimes go for the offensive pass, he turns around and plays the ball backwards. The clock is ticking against Liverpool and someone like Kroos knows how to perfectly exploit that advantage.

At the same time they have Vinicius Junior who can speed up so quickly and create some danger in the box. I was hoping for an early Liverpool game to make it more fun to watch the game, but I don't see it coming.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 15, 2023, 08:22:16 PM

Chelsea we used to know will not be okay with just 3 wins in 3 months. The blues we know should be talking about how to overthrow their ruling contenders from the top table and not to be worried about how to win the next match.
It is a crying shame that graham Potter's ambition is now subjected to winning matches and not for trophy. To have subjected chelsea I this struggling level in the first place is enough to say that Potter was a wrong choice for the club.

Chelsea is going to face Everton but this game won't be a game to save Potter or his team Chelsea, from the situation they have right now, because currently Chelsea got only 37 points and they are in the middle of the table so even if they win this game there is still a big gap to the top of the table for them also just because Chelsea won the last two games they had we cannot be sure and say they are going to beat Everton.

For now I think Potter is save anyway as they have won both of their last two Premier League games and they qualified for the next round in the Champions League. If you don't fire the coach before those three games, why would you fire him when suddenly he starts to win the games with his team? That doesn't add up right now. I only think that he shouldn't lose and he will still be fine. If he can extend this little series of winning then I am sure he will be the manager next season as well, but things can change quickly. Losing in the next round of the Champions League and not reaching the upper ranks in the Premier League is probably going to cost him the job.

1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 14, 2023, 10:59:40 PM
You are right. There are matches Bayern Munich wouldn't afford to lose.   Bayern Munich will not lose the next match if their strong contender has the same point or is two point ahead of them. They seldomely lose Important matches that is needed to generate points that will help push them ahead a good contender, and this they have done from the start of this season. Consistency is really important for every team who has trophy mentality.
There is no doubt that the Bundesliga trophy this season will still belong to Bayern Munich even though there are still matches to be played by Bayern Munich and other teams like Dortmund also still see an opportunity for themselves to continue to put up a fight to get the Bundesliga trophy this season. But I still have very full faith in Bayern Munich who will win the Bundesliga this season again because other teams are still very difficult to beat Bayern Munich.

For now it seems as if that is the case unless something unexpected happens. But usually it doesn't. Bayern has gained full confidence now and they are on fire as they reached the next stage in all three competitions for now. That is usually motivation enough for them to win the Bundesliga and probably the DFB Cup as well.

This is at least how things mostly went in the recent past. They would literally have to fall apart in order for the other teams to have a chance. Dortmund was just fighting with injury problems as well as we have seen against Chelsea. With Adeyemi and Brandt being injured their whole offensive game suffered a lot. That is where Bayern is much better off because one or two injuries won't weaken their game significantly. That is a huge advantage if you can substitute high quality with high quality. It could be the one big difference that in the end decides about success.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 14, 2023, 10:54:57 PM
El Clasico next week will be an important point for Barcelona if they are able to come out victorious because this match will separate the points between the two teams. Barcelona have the upper hand this season because they are stronger in the Laliga and that will make it difficult for real madrid in the upcoming El Clasico match. if Real Madrid loses then the point gap will be 12 points that makes Barcelona the frontrunner to win the Laliga Trophy this season.
Barcelona is leading the La Liga standings with 9 points, the result of the next El Classico won't bring a big impact on them. Although Barcelona gets a loss, they still lead the table and Real Madrid is still difficult to overtake them. It is only a crucial match for Real Madrid, they must win the match if they still dream to chase Barcelona in the 1st place. Losing the next El Classico will simply destroy the dream to win La Liga title this season because if Barcelona leads with 12 points, it will be impossible to chase them. Considering this matter, I am sure Real Madrid will play all out, they will struggle hard to get 3 points in El Classico match.

El classico Next week will be difficult match because that is the only match that Real Madrid has got to win if they really want to catch up with Barcelona before the end of the season. While Barcelona will want to extend their lead at the top of the table.

That's why the two rivals will do everything within their power to make sure they win . But going by their current form and performance  at the moment, I think Real Madrid are gonna win match come next week

First of all I am now looking forward to the game between Real Madrid and Liverpool. This game might be harder for Real Madrid than many would think right now. If it is a demanding game for the Real Madrid players, it might also have some influence on the game between Madrid and Barcelona. As long as everyone remains healthy after the Champions League game, I think Real Madrid will have a decent chance to win that game against Barcelona, which would make the league a little bit more interesting again.

At the same time it is a match ball game in my opinion and Barcelona is well aware of that. If they win that game then there is nothing to be won in La Liga for Real Madrid this season. Some important days ahead of Madrid.

interesting. Feel free to claim this one again:

I swapped CRP for UUSD and then turned the UUSD into a voucher. That is why the code starts with USD. Did we just detect a bug?

I just claimed this voucher. I think I recognized what confused me  Grin
if it is a UUSD voucher, on the right side must be selected UUSD, not CRP. however, it remains interesting that I manually changed the currency in the voucher code and successfully claimed it from the CRP dashboard.

Indeed interesting, enjoy! Wink

Hi guys,

as part of my review I also tried the function to convert CRP and UUSD into vouchers. That works very smoothly and I want to share those two vouchers here and whoever redeems them, redeems them! Wink Both are just under 2 USD in total.

USD-DHFN-MGBK-UYQT-5OZ3-P7LT

you wrote something wrong here, not sure if vouchers can start with USD. The code could not be recognized in such a format and after I changed USD to UTP it was recognized and I successfully claimed it. 1.22 UUSD

@joeperry, what do you think about changing the subjects of the two Utopia campaigns, it seems a bit confusing as if you are running the same two review campaigns. And as far as I can see, one is a signature campaign.

1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 12, 2023, 10:58:04 PM
It may depend on their license as to whether they are even allowed to display that message. Casinos with a fake license or no license may display that message to try to get users to deposit and then KYC any wd to keep the funds.

To me KYC is bullshit honestly. We make our crypto however we make it. We should be able to spend it however we want.

KYC is used as a shenanigan in most cases anyway. Most of the casinos aren't doing it for reasons to comply with AML and KYC regulations (if they follow any regulations at all...).

Whether they do or don't display that message on their website might as well be a strategic thing just in case. I think so far I have never seen a casino that explicitly says on their website to not ask for KYC data. If I were operating a casino I wouldn't put it out there in public. I'd rather say on the website that I do ask for KYC and then just not conduct it and people will get to know by word of mouth. I guess it is even more likely for casinos to get into trouble when they refuse to collect data that they would actually have to collect according to the law and regulations.

But as has been said here already, you are good to go for as long as you lose anyway. As soon as you win big it is more likely you are going to run into trouble with KYC. That is the sneaky part because people who don't want to undergo KYC also might not want to undergo KYC even after a big win and that is what the casinos know as well. There is a reason for people to avoid casinos known for collecting KYC data. Once they win big, the casino just takes it to the limit and keeps asking for data until some players are even willing to forego their winnings and just leave it.

Thanks to a lone goal from Raphinha, Barcelona have been able to maintain their nine point lead at the top of the table. It was looking like a game that would end in a first half draw before Raphinha's shot went past Julen Agirrezabala and straight into the net. The VAR was used twice in the match and on both occasions it was in favor of Barcelona. First it was to over tune the offside call by the linesman for Barcelona's goal and secondly to cancel Bilboa's goal for a handball against Bilboa.
Its one of those games where Barcelona were not at their best but they still managed to win. Now they'll go into the el classico next weekend with a lot of momentum since they would like to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Keeping the lead was their major goal before they meet Real Madrid in the clasico. What saves them right now is the strong defense and one goal is enough to decide the game.

But I am a bit confused about Lewandowski's performances after he had such a great start into the season, when he actually scored nonstop and so many goals. Against Athletic Bilbao it was enough today to have Raphinha score that one goal, but this won't be sufficient against Real Madrid. It is quite surprising that in the last five games they averaged one goal per game.

If they want to have a chance against Real Madrid they will need an offensive line in top shape. I am still wondering whether Ansu Fati is the guy who deserves to wear the number 10 in the team. I think he isn't dangerous enough as a striker. He is not a bad player by any means, but he plays his fourth season for Barcelona now and even though he scores a goal from time to time, those are usually not very important goals.

Freiburg defeated hoffenheim at home, albeit with difficulty.  Hoffenheim, who are in the relegation zone, conceded a goal in the last few minutes to lose the draw. I think ozan kabak's red card had a lot to do with it. It's unacceptable for him to make such a mistake when it's important for them to get even a point in games like this.
The winner in the goal duel was Leverkusen. Leverkusen are in good form and they have no problem scoring goals. If they solve their defensive problems they will be a very good team.
Union berlin lost 2 more points with a draw in an important match. They were doing well at the beginning of the league but suddenly they lost their form. I think they couldn't handle the stress and they are slowly dropping out of the championship race.

Hoffenheim usually isn't a bad team although it is hard to make anyone believe that when you just look at the standings in the table of course. There have been a few games that could have also ended in their favor, but that's nothing anybody asks for when in the end you are left there with empty hands. The last four games they have lost them all with just one goal difference.

But the awful truth is that they won their last game on January 9th. I have no idea how it was even possible for them to crash so hard. To even take the last position in the table when we have all seen how bad Schalke was performing. It doesn't look well for them in regards to any potential turn around. They are stuck, but the good news is that the other teams are stuck to a certain degree as well.

Bochum is scoring every now and then even in an away game now when nobody expected them to. My guess is that Stuttgart and Hoffenheim will have the hardest time to stay in the 1. Bundesliga.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 12, 2023, 09:46:19 PM
I also think that Arsenal isn't through yet. Their chances are good of course as they have their home game against Sporting, but the game still needs to be played and I wouldn't consider Sporting all too weak. In a good game they might cause Arsenal quite some trouble.

Arsenal's team is strong enough. But their main problem is that they want to continue their good performances in both Europa League and Premier League. And it's very difficult. They are focusing on both venue matches. And so their performance has deteriorated somewhat.
The first leg was a draw. I believe Arsenal will make a comeback. And Arsenal will dominate the second leg. But Sporting is a strong team. They must be dealt with very carefully. And the defense must be kept strong. If Arsenal's defenders don't perform well against Sporting, they won't be able to win.

Yes that is what they have clearly demonstrated in today's away game as well. Manchester City is creating pressure for them, but they are playing their game as if there was no pressure for them. Odegaard also has come a long way and knows how to take control over the game and then even score himself. He wasn't a scorer for quite some time, but that has changed and now he has a high number of assists and even scored 10 times this season so far.

If they continue like this then we are going to see a very successful Arsenal this season and it is actually not conceivable how Arsenal can be beaten at home by Sporting Lissabon. They are just too stable at the moment.

Arteta is doing a great job although his start wasn't quite the best. Now they are a team that belongs to the top favorites in both competitions.

Arsenal and Manchester United are the biggest favourites for the Europa League title obviously. Manchester United have already secured their ticket for the next stage. I assume Betis wouldn't be able to turn things around despite being 4-1 behind on aggregate. Manchester United seemed really strong despite their huge loss against Liverpool in the Premier League. It is good for them to have a strong mental right now.

Despite their loss to Liverpool, Manchester United demonstrated once again that they are the masters of the game against Real Betis. In the Europa League, Real Betis have no chance against Manchester United. We should concentrate on teams that have a chance to compete with them. I see Arsenal as a strong contender alongside them; I hope they don't meet soon and meet in the finals.

That is my hope as well. Seeing Arsenal and Manchester United meeting in this tournament too early on would definitely take away a lot of thrill from the later stages in the tournament. If it were to happen that these two teams meet in the final, it would be an outstanding final that we all could be looking forward to.

Frankly speaking that is a long way to go though and comes down to luck whether or not the two teams get put up against each other or not.

I also think that Arsenal isn't through yet. Their chances are good of course as they have their home game against Sporting, but the game still needs to be played and I wouldn't consider Sporting all too weak. In a good game they might cause Arsenal quite some trouble.

Real Madrid just met the expectations by a decent level of performance. They actually worried me by their start to the game. Espanyol started really fast and scored a goal as well. But this was still not enough to demoralize Real Madrid players later on. They stayed focused and fought for the win hard. They got efficiency from their big effort as well. It was lovely to watch them in the attacking line.

Vinicius Junior is a really valuable player for this team. He is showing this regularly. Rodrygo could have scored a nice goal as well if his free-kick didn't hit the post.

It is good to see that Real Madrid won that game. Otherwise La Liga would become too boring early during the season already. This way we can all be looking forward to the clasico and be excited about it.

For the sake of excitement I hope that Barcelona loses two points or perhaps all three points in a best case scenario. If Real Madrid gets the chance in the clasico to get really close to them one more time, I think the game will be much better to watch and both teams will invest much more into the game.

If Barcelona can keep the distance they would also be a fine with a draw in the game against Real Madrid. It's better to see them being in need for the full three points.
