2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 26, 2022, 06:04:04 PM
Ronaldo is a good player, but not for Napoli. Spalletti already has a solid squad, he don't want to spoil it with the presence of Ronaldo who can break the concentration of players.
Napoli players have put in a great game, Spalletti is very satisfied with the performance of his players. Without Ronaldo presence Napoli can dominate the Serie A standings, I think Ronaldo is not in Napoli plans because Spalletti is very satisfied with the squad they have at the moment.
Actually I'm not too sure about things like this but when there is no club that wants to bring Ronaldo and the desperation of wanting to move can actually be another factor for him, but indeed this is a frustrating step because I personally expect him to move to a bigger league others even though things like this are still difficult now.
Actually I quite feel that this is indeed a difficult thing because I don't want to believe he will move again but with the condition he is at Manchester United it is clear that moving is the solution.
With the problems he is facing now, indeed leaving Manchester United is a solution if he does not find a solution while staying at a team that has made his name. It was a shame when he came to help this team and in reality it wasn't what most people expected. I think if he would have known it was going to be like this then he would have chosen Manchester City even though a lot of his close colleagues didn't like him. Honestly, I don't see that his situation at Manchester United will improve.
2002  Economy / Economics / Re: government hampers the country's economy on: October 26, 2022, 05:31:00 PM
Indeed such is the case on the ground that we are witnessing today many state governments no longer want to build an interest that is regretful to the whole people, even though all countries have a budget in building every need but it cannot be achieved because of the constraints of administrative management that runs not according to procedures, to overcome this problem is very difficult because many humans today live greedy and do not care about the losses of others they  it is only selfish, so to be able to achieve a justice is very difficult to realize.
"The rich get richer, the poor get poorer" is probably the right word to describe how government works. They get paid from our money and we facilitate their every need. But as it is said that they work to enrich themselves and without thinking about how the life of the people they lead. Indeed, I do not deny that many people still care about how their people live and fight for what they should be fighting for. But still they were still outnumbered by people who could be said to be greedy.
2003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 26, 2022, 04:49:26 PM
Valencia is definitely one team that i would say have been very impressive this season. Same as Barcelona a in the league. Both teams meeting in the coming game will be very interesting with both teams wanting to get all three points from the game. Both defenses will be ready to face the attacks from the their attackers. Barcelona's attack looks more dangerous so it will be an interesting game to see.
Valencia vs Barcelona match is difficult to predict even though  are several opportunities to dominate Barcelona to win this match, Valencia often makes surprises when they play at home. But looking at the series of results from their last 5 matches, I'm pretty sure Barcelona will easily beat Valencia. Valencia front line this season is not too aggressive because Gennaro Gattuso still relies on Edison Cavani who has so far contributed 4 goals from 6 appearances this season. Now this is in contrast to Lewandowski who is on fire on the front lines who have scored 12 goals so far.
I don't think that Valencia will play better than Barcelona, in fact they can be said to have failed in their last 5 matches having only managed to record one win. Playing at home to opponents is not a reason for Barcelona to drop points in this match. Of course, with the games they have shown this season, they believe in Barcelona to be able to win easily against Valencia. But before that we will see them struggling in the Champions League which in a few hours will start soon.

<snip>

maybe it was better to give the golden ball to Lewandowski , he is a scoring machine and nobody stops him

Benzema is in sixth position regarding goals, he is a good player for charity .. but in my opinion he is # 2 compared to Lewandowski

WOW! Shocked I had some kind of belief that Lewandowski was performing way better than other candidates to win the "Balón de Oro" this year, but viewing the comparison in table form it is obvious that the rest of competitors will have to work really hard for the rest of the season in orden to have any chances against him.

I think it's too early to say who deserves the Ballon D'or award. Lewandowski's performance with Barcelona is good but that doesn't mean that he will continue to put on such performances without any decline. Moreover, there are still many potential young players who also in my opinion deserve to be considered for this award.

While most of us are upset on Juventus , can we take some time and appreciate Benfica ? They are on a roll this year in UCL and last night proved us again that they are indeed a better team than Juventus.

For Juve....I'm still shocked to see Allegri still a coach in this morning as I was 100% sure that he will be dismissed...
Actually, in this case, I personally see that this is natural and I am not too surprised by this because in any case it seems to be predictable where in the last few games Juventus really can't do much in the Champions League and in Serie A.
Their match in this match can still be said to be good but the result is clearly beyond the expectations of Juventus and their fans.

On the other hand now I see Benfica very good because they can even rival PSG in the group stage by the same points and of course my prediction in this group is reversed between Benfica and Juventus.
2005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 26, 2022, 01:35:12 PM
In this case, it is likely that age is one of the factors that are considered. Ronaldo's age is 37 years old, so it is quite difficult for big clubs to consider him even though he can still be competitive but of course this will not last long because it is certain that at his current age there are only a few years left for Ronaldo and the EPL is a match that does have intensity. so that instead of looking for old players, big clubs would prefer to look for young players who have great potential to be awarded contracts.
I think one of the reasons most clubs don't want Ronaldo is as said, due to his age and experience. He is past his peak performance and can only be of much use in leagues with less stress, unlike the English premiership. Also, with the vast experience he has garnered over the years, he might be too heady or superior to the managers or team members. It is also likely that if Ronaldo is in a team, the game is kind of bound to be centered about him. Managers know this, and dont want an influence bigger than theirs. If I were him, either I go to the Spanish league or to the American league  because he still has to remain fresh for Portugal in their oncoming world cup campaign.
Actually, in this case for the EPL, he can still do it, but indeed we also know that in the EPL there are a lot of criticisms if the performance is not as expected. Moreover, in this case we know that Ronaldo's salary is still very large for a player of his age so it is indeed difficult for a big team to bring him with such a high salary at his current age.
As for MLS, I am personally not too sure because even though he is currently quite old, he is one of the players who has high ambitions so MLS is not a place that can satisfy Ronaldo.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 26, 2022, 08:20:33 AM
Regarding the rumors of a Ronaldo move, for me it would be better for Ronaldo to leave England and look for a new challenge. Because the Premier League is too tight for him who is no longer young. Serie A will be a very profitable league for him to return to his career in order to become his physical defender for Portugal.
Ronaldo can also go to Germany, Spain, France, America instead of just Serie A. His career is not over yet despite his current age, but maybe his high contract value for some teams will make his wish difficult to realize. There are two possibilities, if not Serie A then I think Ronaldo will replace Messi who is also rumored to be moving away from PSG. It's just a possibility, certainly unbelievable now.
I had read the news regarding Chelsea who were interested in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo into the Chelsea club. But it seems that the only one who is interested in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo to the blues is Todd Boehly as the owner of Chelsea. but Graham Potter as Chelsea coach does not seem to agree. Some clubs like Arsenal and New Castle even recognized Cristiano ronaldo's ability and they needed him but they couldn't sign him because they were more afraid of the impact on the club itself. I don't understand what the impact is. whether it's about the other players at the club or what. I read about it in this source. https://www.goal.com/id/amp/berita/arsenal-cristiano-ronaldo-manchester-united-chelsea/bltc1958298d83f50b9

Glorious victory for Benfica against Juventus. The Italian team has lots of good players, but the squad lacks confidence. I guess that Juventus needs a new coach.

New coach will not help Juventus to be a better team than they are now. They need new coach and new players to replace some of their "old" players. Defense is really bad as well as the midfield, no good coordination between players to attack and no good coordination to defense. They got some players in the last window transfer market but it does not give them great contribution so far. I believe that they are now regretting the decision to let some players go (both sell and loan) in the previous transfer market such as Dybala, Kulusevski, de Light, etc
I may slightly agree with what you say in this case because the possibility is also slim but of course with a new coach there will be slight changes because of course every coach has its own scheme and strategy and with a new coach there will be slight changes. felt.
But in yesterday's match actually regardless of losing or winning, they can still be said to be playing pretty well compared to before but this result clearly doesn't make them profitable because they want it or not to go down to the Europa League.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 25, 2022, 07:46:09 PM
I don't know what happened to Real, but so far Leipzig are playing great football... Seven shots and 2 goals against last year's champion is certainly an amazing result for the first half... Probably the biggest surprise from today's games so far... By the way, by domination so far you can say that Borussia are playing just as well against Man City, albeit without goals... Wink But probably the game will turn out in the second half...
Yes RB Leipzig played a good game, they were 2-0 up and the first half was almost over. But they must not settle for the advantage they have now, as Real Madrid could surprise at any moment. When Real Madrid play and fall behind then don't look away before the game is really over, because maybe we will miss to see something Real Madrid will do. There are still 45 second minutes for Real Madrid to catch up 2 goals from RB Leipzig.
2009  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: October 25, 2022, 07:07:55 PM
Money is indeed a motivation, I mean, I would be motivated if the salary is good with a healthy workplace of course, if it's toxic then money isn't motivating at all if that's the case. Worshipping money is bad, working for money too, that's why money should work for you. What I mean is you have to work smarter, not harder. Nobody works 8 hours a day that became a millionaire while sticking to his comfort zone.
Talking about the workplace, everyone needs to have a comfortable workplace. Because it comes from personal experience, I prefer a work place that makes me comfortable, be it from my work environment, colleagues or so on. Because if we are in a workplace that is not comfortable for us, it will put pressure on our mentality and it will affect something we do. Obviously if we worship money and work for money is something wrong in my view. I like what you say that we have to work smart. But if we do these 2 things (work smart and hard) of course the results will be even better.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 25, 2022, 06:35:20 PM
I don't think, Chelsea will win this game because their defense look so weak for Salzburg strikers to have access easily to their goalpost. The first half made the game to look Chelsea will defeat Salzburg with many goals to improve their points but Salzburg equalized the goal in the second half but Chelsea is still leading the game with 2:1 but Salzburg are still on the solid ground to make the match draw 2:2. If Salzburg continue with this new tactics they are using now, they will surely equalize the goals before the end of the game.
the last 5 minutes have entered and this is clearly advantageous for Chelsea now the score is still 1-2 for Chelsea's advantage so this is indeed a good thing and Chelsea has definitely qualified now for the next round considering I think it is very difficult for Salzburg to be able to equalize with these conditions. they are always under attack and focus on defense.

I think your prediction is a little wrong in this case because regardless of anything the same quick back attack as Salzburg's first goal was unlikely to happen again in this match.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 25, 2022, 06:19:29 PM

In my opinion, when referring to the match between Man United and Chelsea, it makes sense because there is no solid striker and sharp back-up attack. Man United managed to escape Casemiro header which meant Rashford was in a bad position and not using the ball well. I don't know how many chances he got but Rashford shot wasn't that sharp. Again, Erik Ten Hag used the same strategy as when they played against Newcastle, which was to focus a lot of attacks from Sancho's line, which is now of really poor quality.
In this case I quite agree. But sometimes Manchester United's efforts are also a little difficult to predict because sometimes they are good on the counter-attack like when they faced Arsenal at that time.
Although indeed in this case for a counterattack they are actually not fast and seem to be waiting for momentum.
I don't know if it was Ten Hag's plan or if they were a little slow on the counter-attack because they really rely on Sancho at the moment, I actually prefer to see a push on Antony's side.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 25, 2022, 05:36:14 PM
The problem is that Xavi is too focused on their core players so indeed when some of their players get injured it becomes like a setback for Xavi. Even though it seems like they are looking for excuses by saying Injuries to players, but whether they realize it or not, this has an impact on them. It's difficult when you look at their current condition, it's clear that there is a real difference when their main players play and when they are injured. I think they are currently spending a lot of money, of course the expectations are high but with the current conditions they are gambling to return to losing money this season from a financial point of view.
Basically, any coach relies on some players in the game of his team and Xavi is no exception here. It is the injuries of several of his main players that Antonio Conte is now referring to as an excuse for his Tottenham's two consecutive defeats in the Premier League. Any coach would dream of having two or even three equivalent squads to rotate between them in case of injury to their key players, but that's why they are key players, that there can't be too many of them. If there are too many of them, then problems of the psychological climate in the team may begin, resentments of players on the amount of playing time. As for finances, the coming years will continue to be very difficult for Barcelona and the very likely failure of the team to reach the Champions League playoff stage will also not greatly contribute to the financial recovery of the club. On the other hand, in my opinion, the club's management is making the most of the strength of the signed players and therefore Xavi should at least claim the title in La Liga and no one will accept discounts for injured players.
This is the problem because if you look at the conditions of Madrid and Barcelona there is a slight difference here.
Looking at the rotations made by Madrid with some of the players used by Barcelona, it is clear that there are some significant differences when Madrid always perform several rotations in several positions such as Striker and Midfield, it is clear that this is something good because with this if one of the players is injured then Ancelotti always has some other options but it's different with Barcelona because when some of his key players are missing it's really difficult and that's been evident in some of the games they've run before.

He is definitely not a legend for Juventus Turin. If that is called a legend, then what would he be for Real Madrid?
Ronaldo score hundreds of goal for Real Madrid and won 3 Champions League with Real. I am sure he deserves to be called as a legend in Real Madrid. Even you dislike him, you can not deny his contributions and achievement there.

That's for Real Madrid but maybe a little different to Juventus although indeed in this case there are other extraordinary achievements for Ronaldo there such as scoring more than 100 goals in less than 3 seasons.

Actually regardless of whether he deserves to be a legend or not but we also really appreciate what he did at Juventus because he managed to become a handful of players who could make his name in the Juventus record.
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 24, 2022, 11:22:32 PM
when verona scored a very fast goal in 2 minutes by ceccherini, I doubt Sassuolo can win the match, but I was wrong, Sassuolo were able to turn things around and win with a score of 2-1, it was really a very tight match. Verona is very poor, in the last 5 matches, they have never won.
Verona is no longer the team that is challenging the top teams and beat them from time to time. They are now performing bad to be spotted in the relegation zone.. Only 1 defeat and 2 draws after 11 rounds Undecided
The interesting thing is that this is the 6th consecutive loss for them and this is the worst thing for them after 2018 to have felt the same way. With this result they are stranded far enough at the bottom of the board and even have difficulty in getting out of the relegation zone.
This is clearly a bit in contrast to them in the last few seasons who are always in the middle of the table and of course they have to start to rise because otherwise it will be increasingly difficult for them to get out of the relegation zone.

Actually I don't see Barcelona not taking their Champions League game seriously. Because of the results of their last two matches because a lot of players who are usually the first choice can't play because of the injuries they have. It is very difficult for them to qualify from this group stage because they have to finish 2 matches with a win, and also the result of the Inter Milan match will be very decisive for their next step in the Champions League. It would take a lot of magic to see Barcelona qualify for the knockout phase.
Barcelona really want to go as farthest as possible in Champions League because it means they will have more income to heal their finance crisis. I don't think it is a good explanation to blame all on injuries. Opponents of Barcelona did not have their best players for their matches too and all clubs must be able to cover injured players and achieve good results for their clubs.

Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are well deserved to go next in this group. Sorry but see Barcelona next season even it is bad to not have them in Champions League after next two match days.
The problem is that Xavi is too focused on their core players so indeed when some of their players get injured it becomes like a setback for Xavi.

Sad for Arsenal that they couldn't get an easy win, I hope that they do not get winded and start to lose easy games because of fatigue, City is already just 2 points behind them, and one more game like this and they will lose the top spot.

It looks like Arteta wants to rest some players to stay fit against Feyenord so indeed some of their players are not playing before and it's interesting to see the 4-3-3 scheme he did because it was a little different from before.
Despite all that, it looks like they really don't want to port their players so even though it's a shame it's still pretty good.

Half time is almost over but no goals yet, will both teams play it safe and share the points?
Actually I agree with you that West Ham has the potential to win apart from the home team factor
they are also motivated to stay away from relegation especially when Leicester and Nottingham also won.
70 minutes have passed now but the score is still the same as before with West ham ahead.
It's interesting to see this match west ham really excel in every way but I see they still make a lot of mistakes especially by wasting chances until now.
Regardless of the current results it would be great if they maximized the final finishing.
2017  Economy / Economics / Re: 76% of Adults are Making Lifestyle Changes to Prepare for a Potential Recession on: October 24, 2022, 01:04:00 PM
Please share your personal experiences on how people in your country are preparing for or dealing with a recession.
The predicted recession can actually make us prepare for the worst, but that's if we were not previously involved in consumptive debt such as cars or luxury goods that are not too important or their value is rapidly dropping, unfortunately more young people in my country already involved in such debt, and there are many more whose income is not sufficient for their daily needs, these people just hope that they still can working and a help from government that have little impact
Something bad has been predicted for us to experience in the not too distant future. Yes, a nightmare that we don't really want to experience in real life. One way that we can do right now is to reduce our spending as much as possible to prepare for and live this recession. We can't avoid this kind of thing, but we can prepare as well as possible before it actually happens. From this we should realize that preparing for the future is something very important.

This week there will be no match between two big teams, because the majority of matches will bring together two teams that can be said to be weak and also strong. What caught my attention was probably the match between Brighton and Chelsea. Brighton put in good form at the start of the season but now they have dropped a lot, Chelsea side they played badly at the start of the season and now they are improving a lot after being managed by new coach Graham Potter. The reverse situation of the two teams which makes me more interested to see.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 24, 2022, 12:13:15 PM

Let's be real, Barcelona doesn't have a second chance at UCL.  They will do their best against Bayern Munich, but this alone will not be enough.  They will wait for Viktoria Plzen to perform a miracle and beat Inter.  The odds of beating Bayern Munich are also low in my opinion.  It is impossible for Viktoria Plzen to beat Inter.  Therefore, it would be better for them to start thinking about UEL instead of UCL.
Barcelona are in a tight corner that it will be difficult for them to remain in UCL.  The mistake Barcelona made was not taking the UCL games serious,  I don't know how they want to perform a magic to win the remain game left for them to qualify.
I wait to see Barcelona to try as best to win their march.

2 wins hoping for Inter to play badly is indeed something quite difficult but this can still happen even though the chances are very small.
Maybe in this case only luck can bring Barcelona back to the next round because this is like trying to escape from the eye of a needle.
Inter's opponent is one that is advantageous for Inter. If Barcelona lose or draw and Inter win then it's over for Barcelona.
Once again I say that it takes a lot of miracles to see Barcelona move to the next phase. It would be a very difficult situation to see the magic. Indeed, nothing is impossible in football, but from a realistic perspective the chances of it happening are very slim. I can say that they have to try again next season.
2020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: October 24, 2022, 11:36:31 AM
Real Sociedad and Manchester united will play their second leg match in their last match in the group stage and that will determine their position. I assume Real Sociedad and Manchester United win in their 5th game, if Manchester United win then the last match then their points gain will be the same, and goal productivity will determine their position, there are still many possibilities that will occur.
Manchester United still have match against Sheriff and if win can lead competitive standing with Real Sociedad and second leg match will be final and have to win if want lead standings position, but still depend with match left from Real Sociedad on matchday 5 against Omonoia, if win in this games just need get draw at second leg match with Manchester United lock first standing position qualify to 32 round. Manchester United need to win if won't pass trough play off round, seems not easy for Manchester United have away to Real Sociedad after first leg at Old Trafford have got loss from Real Sociedad.

If Manchester United win their match against FC Sheriff with a landslide score then they have a chance to be the leader in this group. but as we know, Real Sociedad also has a match against Omonia, which doesn't seem like a difficult match for Real Sociedad to beat. clearly, they want to qualify smoothly for the next round. so Real Sociedad remains the leader in this group.

in the end, it was their last meeting that decided who would be the holder of this group.
If Manchester United wants to be top of the group, the last meeting will be an important match for Man United. at least, MU must subvert Real Sociedad with a landslide score. however, it seems that it will not go according to the scenario.

From the scheme I see, the last meeting between Manchester United and Real Sociedad will be their positioning. Even if Manchester United can win, it will all be seen from the productivity of goals from both teams to determine who deserves to occupy the first position. But the situation from Real Sociedad is more comfortable as they only need a draw to defend and lock their position. So I see that it is very likely that they will play more defensively in that match. But let's see from the results of their 5th match first.
