Messi would probably do the same thing he did before. He would rather be free agent first to see if he can get an agreement with Barcelona again. Then he would make his final decision about his future. If it doesn't happen then I think he would play for PSG one more year at least.
I don't think Messi will go to Arab or US leagues. He is a legend. He should leave football in a way that suits a legend. After the contract with PSG is finished, if he signed a 1 -year contract with Barcelona and leaves football, he will complete a great career. Messi does not need to go to Arab or US leagues. Messi will not be as helpless as Ronaldo. I think there will be big clubs that want to see him at least one more season in Europe. Messi will play another season or two in Europe, maybe another year in PSG, maybe he will move to Barcelona next season, maybe he will try EPL or another league although I highly doubt about it. EPL 25th round started with Fulham and Wolves games. Wolves are leading by 1 goal after half an hour of the game although Fulham seemed to be favourite and playing home..
Newcastle - Brighton match scheduled tomorrow was postponed since Newcastle will face ManU in EFL Cup this Sunday in the final game. ManU are favourites in my opinion.

Hardest match in this draw is Roma - Sociedad then Juventus - Freiburg then ManU - Betis. The first too are unpredictable and we might see Roma and Juve leaving both or one of them. ManU is better than Betis for sure but Betis is a good team and might resist a bit.

Real Madrid needs to save their players and chance the team in every single match. They cannot continue to play all matches with the same team. Players are getting injured and i think this might be a big problem for them to finish the season well.
Real Madrid has key players that their absence will affect the team much and the substitutes cannot fully replace them. This is the case for most teams BTW and Real Madrid isn't an exception. Whenever Benzema is injured for example, Real Madrid results aren't top comparing to his presence and so on.. Real Madrid will most likely pass to the next stage in Champions League but they have to fix the mistakes made in the defence line.. |

It can be really difficult for Liverpool to focus on their next Premier League game after that huge loss. But they no other option than focusing on it. Mathematically they still have a chance for even top four. They need to do their best until the end to see how things go. If they can't make it to the Champions League again as well then they will have achieved literally nothing this season.
Even if they do this it is still going to be a poor season for them of course. Because a team like Liverpool shouldn't finish a season without a single title.
Liverpool advantage is that they are lacking 2 matches so they can theoretically get 6 points and advance near Newcastle which already lacks 1 match by the way. Liverpool is favourite vs Crystal Palace and Wolves but definitely will have hard time vs ManU and Real Madrid in March, without mentioning City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in April. I don't have much confidence on them and I feel they will play in EL or Conference League next season, at best. |

Sheriff tiraspol team managed an incredible comeback today, i didn't expect them to qualify after losing at home 1 0 and despite being behind in today's game they managed to win 3 1 and secure a position in the next round.
Sheriff, Anderlecht and Basel made a comeback in the second leg and kicked Partizan, Ludogorets and Trabzon respectively. Sheriff mission was harder after the first goal received, since they had to score 3 goals to qualify and they did it! Basel scored 2 goals to pass while Anderlecht had to play penalties to pass. Gent will play penalties vs Qarabag.. |

Chelsea to play against Tottenham in its upcoming match. Will this be a winning match for them, as the pressure gets built to win the match. Chelsea have made plans of relieving more English contingent in the summer balance the budget. Same time there are discussions that Chelsea could add Neymar. Zidane too eyed by the management as the team have be underperforming for a long.
Chelsea is currently in trouble. They are losing points and thus in ranking. Their last victory date to more than a month ago and their odds vs Spurs are lower and risk to lose more points. I heard that Zidane is thinking about joining EPL and Chelsea might be a choice. Not an easy job since it is like building a team from the scratch, just like what happened with ManU this year.. So Barcelona got kicked again from European competitions and this time was by ManU. Both legs weren't easy and while Barcelona enjoyed their goal in the first half, ManU shot them with 2 goals in the second half and they are out!
Sevilla was lucky to not receive another goal or else the game might extended and who knows what could happen.
Italians passed and scored 2 goals for Roma and 3 for Juve. Germans passed too, especially Leverkusen since they had a very hard game vs Monaco.
Rennes is the only French team that left and they are playing right now the extra time vs Donetsk since the aggregate is 2-2

The start of the round of 16 which in my opinion is a bit strange, because no English representative has won in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League this season:
Borussia Dortmund vs Chelsea 1-0
AC Milan vs Tottenham 1-0
Liverpool vs Real Madrid 2-5.
RB Leipzig vs Manchester City 1-1
but the draw in the first leg still has a chance in the second leg, unless Liverpool is just a miracle for Liverpool to be able to turn things around in the second leg at home to Real Madrid.
So City is the only team to get a draw in the first leg between EPL teams  Basically City has the advantage of playing home next time while Liverpool chances are tiny since they will play away with a minus 3 goals to return to the point zero.. Chelsea and Spurs will have home games that won't be easy since they are 1 goal behind them. |

I expect something to happen this Summer one way or another. I don't think that Zidane will take another year off and there are some clubs who may already be negotiating with him. It woud almost be negligent to not negotiate with him and get some feedback. He is probably in talks with Madrid, Liverpool, PSG, and Chelsea.
Zidane would have accepted to be the coach of France national team if that was offered for him but I think that wasn't the case in the first place. Harsh words targeted him from the head of the French football federation before he gets sacked and I believe there was some tensions between them. At the same time, Deschamps still wants to be in the picture so I don't think Zidane will wait for 4 years to be selected. He will most likely move and chose a team to train. Maybe Liverpool? Chelsea? Back to Real Madrid with Mbappe in his side? PSG maybe? |

Sevilla improved indeed and they are now in the 12th place in La Liga after they were in the relegation zone for quite long period, mainly before World Cup. They won with 3 goals to 0 vs PSV making them favourites in the second leg since they will play comfortably at the opposite of PSV where they will play under pressure. For the other teams, the results were either a draw or a 1 point difference so the second leg will be crucial for all the teams. |

How to make the game interesting?
Just play without goalkeepers, crazy 2-3 for Real Madrid, while Napoli is doing his job vs a weaker opponent.
Goalkeepers made horrible mistakes in a top level game where every simple inattention could lead to a goal.. For the second goal of Real Madrid for example, the amount of errors made from the attack line of Liverpool back to the goalkeeper are incredible. The result is Liverpool 2-5 Real Madrid with few minutes left in the game. Catastrophic failure for Liverpool and an awesome comeback for Real Madrid as usual in UCL  |

Napoli scored 56 goals in 23 games, half of them were scored by Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia (28 goals) together! We all know Osimhen but Kvaratskhelia not only scared 10 goals but he had also 9 assists. I know Real Madrid could not be underestimated even if Liverpool win in this leg but seriously if this game ends by more goals then it will the end of the trip for Real Madrid  Edit: V Junior scored! Yes, it's true, Neymar does have a pretty serious history of injuries, I mean he often gets injured. Also, the tight schedule played by Paris Saint Germain also affects the fitness of the players so that their players are prone to injury. The coach must be good at rotating players, if he can't do that, then they will experience very detrimental things for them in the future. Galtier is rotating his players, you can take a look on lineups of different games to see that but his options become limited when he has keys players injured like Mbappe or missing like Messi after World Cup or when the team is not doing good at all and needs to play with full power. For Neymar, he always acts like injured at a point his injuries become more frequent and people took some time to trust him.. |

There is a really big drop in Leverkusen's form again really. They started to lose many points in the Bundesliga and this reflected on their Europa League game against Monaco as well.
And this time they lost to Mainz by 3-2 in a home game. There were a red card and a penalty missed by Tapsoba. The reason of this loss was bad defending indeed. Xabi Alonso actually had a good run first but things started to be upside down again. But at least they are still in a safe distance with the relegation zone now. However this doesn't mean they can be very relieved. They should do their best to get away as much as possible.
Leverkusen is playing bad this season and it is good to see them far from the relegation zone. I don't expect them to get a European competition spot this season. They just have to keep some positive results to avoid getting near relegation and try to figure out a way to improve the team. Even Europa League won't be easy for them, especially that they missed the first leg vs Monaco.. |
