Turkish teams are literally dominating the Conference League these days. Especially Adana Demirspor's performance has been mesmerizing. This must be their first European tournament experience but they are playing like they are quite experienced in this environment. They scored quite impressive goals against Osijek in addition to winning by 5-1.
Especially Yusuf Erdogan's goal by a shot to the upper right corner was amazing to watch. However the Conference League is going to get much tougher for all Turkish teams by next round.
Adana Demirspor are taking on the loser of Olympiacos-Genk; Fenerbahce are taking on the winner of Twente-Riga and Besiktas are taking on the winner of Aris-Dinamo Kiev. All the probable opponents are quite decent teams in the end.
Indeed, I noticed the same with the Turkish teams. Besiktas and Fenerbahce ended their games with 3 - 1 goals each, getting closer to passing this round. Otherwise Adana Demirspor scored 5 goals and received only one making them secure. There is teams like Gent, Bodo, Plzen, Farul, Ferencvaros, Brugge, that have at least 3 goals difference so pretty much safe. The results of Rapid Wien, Midtjylland, Pyunik and Partizan are quite disappointing this time. |

Both 1/4 final games today were really exciting. Maybe Australia - France wasn't most beautiful, 120 minutes without goals, but penalty shootout was amazing. I preferred to see France going to semifinal, but after all, happy for Australia and all people who support them.
Colombia joyrney ended today. They were underdogs and achieved more than anyone expected. And even today, they gave good fight for England. It's bad for them that they didn't managed to keep lead for a bit longer, that would give more pressure for England.
I didn't think I will see France kicked out of the World Cup by Australia honestly. After all the journey ended with penalties at least so we can blame them less. Now Australia have to face England next and try to play the same scenario with them maybe? I don't think England will let them go to extra time and penalties. Spain - Sweden will be interesting in my opinion with a slight advantage for the Spanish team. |

Actually it is not a good debut for Bayern Munich and Tuchel especially getting 3 goals without scoring any, is catastrophic failure.. I just talked few days ago about how ridiculous is the number of goals received by Bayern Munich when they faced Liverpool and Monaco. Their defence strategy isn't effective and they will suffer if they will not score many goals. From the reports I've read so far, the injury that Victor Osimhen picked from training isn't a serious one that'll keep him sidelined for weeks.
The ankle injury isn't gonna take much of his time in the new season before he returns to action. Napoli really need their talisman to be fit ahead of the new season challenge. The club knows that they have to start the season in front foot in other to have a success title defense.
Victor Osimhen got injured and he resumed training again yesterday thought so I assume his injury isn't that serious and since Napoli first game will be played in a week then he can be in the list of players, maybe not in the starting eleven but as a substitute who can play whenever the coach find it suitable for him to play. Don't you think it's too early to judge this? It's the first game of the season, do you expect a team like Madrid to lose to Bilbao on the game week 1?... Athletic Bilbao is a good team and can make surprises when they face top teams whenever wherever! This time Real Madrid managed to win vs them psychologically when they scored 2 goals in the first half of the game. It is nice to see Bellingham scoring since his first match. Real Sociedad in the other hand weren't able to control their game vs Girona although they scored an early game and were leading for +65 minutes of the game.. |

Newcastle victory was expected by most people but scoring 5 goals was just fantastic especially when facing a team like Aston Villa. Brighton 4 goals victory wasn't as interesting as Newcastle one due to their easy team. West Ham draw wasn't good and Everton season debut seems to be bad as the previous one. So last night Sevilla lost against Valencia at home and I don't understand why they lost. Shouldn't Sevilla be able to secure full points as hosts but they are having a hard time doing that. Valencia came as a guest, of course he also didn't think they could steal points and this is an important capital for the next match. Sevilla even had to suffer the loss of losing their players due to a red card in the 81st minute and that was probably the result of their frustration at not being able to win. Well, however, Sevilla must correct their mistakes so that they don't repeat themselves in next week's match.
Sevilla defeat was quite absurd since they are playing home, the red card isn't the only cause of their defeat and they should fix their issues otherwise this season will be the same as the previous one which isn't good.. A defeat vs Valencia in the beginning of the season isn't that bad after all if they could improve their results later. |

Well the opening game is always tricky, I expect Manchester City to win, maybe with 2 goals and Erling Haaland to score too, I don't think he will score hattrick but maybe a goal or two.
At the end Manchester City won with 3 goals to 0 vs Burnley in an away home. As a first match that was a good result and Erling Haaland scored 2 goals not a hattrick as some expected in the previous posts In less than an hour, Arsenal will play vs Nottingham forest and it was supposed to win. Otherwise in the other games, Newcastle are favourite to win vs Aston Villa and waiting to see how much this game will end in terms of goals. |

Manchester United would have been a good club for Kane too since he's used to the English Premier League style of play and he would have been in a position to get a trophy too since Manchester United appears better since the coming of Ten hag but lucky for Kane he's finally moved to Germany to play for Bayern Munich good move though at least he's hopefully going to lift a trophy next season even though is the league cup.
It is too late to see talks about Manchester United and Harry Kane since the player decided to join Bayern Munich even though Spurs president was doing tricky ways to force Bayern Munich to renegotiate by ordering the player to not take the plane to Germany.. For Lukaku, I think he needs to put himself together to decide where he's going if not he's going to remain in Italy playing for inter Milan. I don't know if Chelsea really wants Lukaku back cause there has been much rumors about him with no actions backing it.
Lukaku might got a last chance to play in known European teams by playing with Spurs since they have the money to replace Harry Kane. I find it quite risky to bring a player that can play poorly. |

According to the most recent news Chelsea aren't interested in a swap plus cash deal between Vlahovic and Lukaku anymore. They are rather interested in selling Lukaku to another team directly. After hearing about this I started to think that Lukaku will start to think of joining Saudi Arabian teams seriously.
He rejected those teams before according to I know. But if Juventus don't sign him by making only cash offer then I don't feel like there is another likely team to go for Lukaku in Europe. Then he had better take a probably huge salary offer coming from Saudi Arabia and go there. Chelsea are already trying to sell him in the end.
Juventus fans mentioned clearly that they don't want to see Romelu Lukaku in their club. They said that in social media platforms and even in real life when they invaded the stadium in a training session. That doesn't sound good at all for him. Finally, the protracted deal has come to an end. I'm really happy that both clubs were able to reach an agreement, and it's left for Harry Kane to strike personal terms with Bayern Munich which I don't think would be an issue. It's going to be a big loss for Tottenham Hotspur seeing their marksman and skipper leave after many years of great service to the club. But the move is a good one for Kane for him to forge ahead his career path and have a better chance of winning trophies before he hangs his boot. Though expensive, but it a good signing for Bayern Munich and I don't think Kane would find it difficult settling down or leading the attack. finally done, but Kane is not expensive.... he is extremely expensive. I hope it wont be like last season with Mane. Mane was with 32 million euros transfer fee not so expensive, but he had a value of 70 million euros, which currently at only 25 million, is a big loss. I feel bad about teams like Bolivia and Venezuela. They are much stronger if we compare them with teams such as Danmark and Canada. But they almost never get a chance to participate in the world cup because the number of slots allotted to CONMEBOL is quite limited. And this is why I have always argued that although the first set of 32 teams should be decided on the basis of continental qualifiers, the remaining 16 teams should come from a global qualifying tournament. BTW, when was the last time that Venezuela participated in the FIFA world cup?
World Cup never intended to be fair in reality. European countries are the best teams in the world and have the best players so they have more chances to qualify, yet sometimes top Nations like Italy might risk not playing there if they were not fit. Asian, African, North Americans and Oceania teams performance are quite limited and their chances to succeed is limited. South America, Conmebol, comes after UEFA and it is dominated by Brazil and Argentina most of the time. The other teams chances are quite the same. |

First leg games of the third qualifying round almost finished with many surprises.
AEK Athens match vs Dinamo Zagreb was postponed after the death of one supporter outside of the stadium.. Not clear what will happen later but so many supporters were arrested by police.
Aris Limassol and Marseille lost their games away with 1 goal difference so they might have a chance in the second leg. Copenhagen got a draw home, not good for them.
Otherwise PSV Eindhoven, Braga and Galatasaray won big with 3 goals difference each making them almost qualified. There is 2 other games running right now with 2-1 for Haifa and Rangers.

Frank Kessie left La Liga to join Saudi Pro League. He moved from Barcelona to join Al-Ahli. The transfer is set to be €12.5m and the deal is done! His contract will last to 2026.
