Breaking News!

Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to a contract extension as Real Madrid coach until 2026 and with this, Carlo Ancelotti's future fate is clear and he will remain at Santiago Bernabeu for the next 2 seasons. It seems that Real Madrid fans have to be more patient if they want Xabi Alonso as the new coach and they have to accept that Carlo Ancelotti will continue with Real Madrid for quite a long time. Florentino Perez still believes in Carlo Ancelotti's performance as a coach and therefore he gave him this contract so that he can continue to manage the squad of young players at Real Madrid.

On the other hand, with this news, Real Madrid players definitely have to be more patient because we know that Carlo Ancelotti's coaching style is quite eccentric and often results in players being placed in inappropriate positions. But that is one of his strengths as an experienced trainer and there is no doubt about his success. Carlo Ancelotti still has the responsibility to deliver the La Liga or Champions League title this season and it would be an extraordinary thing if he succeeded in presenting it to Los Blancos.

2002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 29, 2023, 01:34:11 PM
I don't know whether clubs from the Saudi Professional League ever care about their financials and whether money has some impact on their decisions, but I am quite sure that Steven Gerrard has a fabulous contract that makes him rich in any case. If they fire him, he probably is entitled to a huge severance pay, if they keep him, it is the same.

Maybe they are still hoping for better times to come with him and they don't really know who would be an appropriate alternative if they fire him. Are the players good enough actually and is Gerrard not to blame for everything that is going wrong?
Why is it that most of these EPL players that have it difficult to explore their chances of becoming best coaches in this present era of football? Is crucial situation we ought to be concerned about, but instead the coaches we're hearing are the old coaches that have been in the system for long and there's definitely nothing new about them other than watching the same repeating strategy over and over again, most of them have retired and giving opportunities to the young coaches that have not gather enough experience to deal with the challenges they have. Steven Gerrard was keen on achieving quite important ambition in his long promising managerial role as a coach. Gerrard have issues in dealing with the new club, finding it really hard to blend with the system.
But in fact, being a great player and also a club legend does not make the player successful when he becomes a coach and as with Steven Gerrard, I think there are quite a lot of failed coaches from England. Let's just say that those who have worked as professional coaches, such as Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney, have all failed in managing a club and this continues to create a bad record for their careers as coaches.

Now Steven Gerrard, who has also expanded to the Saudi league and become coach of El-Ettifaq, is also felt to be less capable of handling the squad of European players they have. Even though the competitive level of the league is still far from the EPL and he failed to at least bring Al-Ettifaq to the top 4 of the Saudi league. Actually the system is not as complicated as other top European leagues and the system in the Saudi league should be much easier for a coach, so I don't think that's an excuse.

Two teams from North London lost simultaneously to their opponents in last night's match and it was quite a crushing defeat when they needed full points to maintain their consistency. Arsenal and Spurs were very disappointing and were unable to beat their opponents in that match and even conceded goals in two different halves. I think here Arsenal seem to have lost their way even though they are very favored to win at home and again they couldn't win against West Ham. A humiliating defeat when they had the opportunity to move Liverpool back to the top of the standings and they had to accept a defeat that should not have happened.

As for Spurs, they should be able to win even though it was an away game against Brighton, even though De Zerbi's men have not been very consistent in the last few matches and it looks like Ange's squad is unable to beat Brighton. Spurs had conceded 4 goals before Veliez and Davies reduced the score to 4-2. I understand even if Spurs lose that match, but for Arsenal it feels very unreasonable and like they don't have a winning mentality.

Saudi teams started sending offers for another team and player and this time they want to hire Hakan Çalhanoğlu from Inter Milan.
Currently, Inter Milan is in the first place often Serie A and they are in a good situation, also they are hoping to win the CHmpoainos Lague title as they couldn't do that in the last season that's why they prefer to keep their players to have more chances.
Hakan Çalhanoğlu is definitely an effective player in Inter Milan and he played in 17 games for Iner Milan he scored 7 goals and 3 assists for the team.
He got an offer from Al Hial with an 18 million euro salary but he is not going to leave Inter Milan.

https://sempreinter.com/2023/12/28/hakan-calhanoglu-resisted-lucrative-al-hilal-offer-to-remain-at-inter-milan/

It feels like it's still too soon for Hakan Çalhanoğlu to leave Inter and besides, he is still in his prime with Inter. Hakan Çalhanoğlu is still at a mature age and not too old so in one or two seasons he will still be worthy of being at Inter. The offer from Al-Hilal might be enough to attract interest from players his age but it doesn't look like that will apply to Hakan Çalhanoğlu, especially since he is the midfield maestro for Inter.

If he leaves Inter, I think coach Simeone Inzaghi will still have difficulty finding a replacement. So it's better to win all the titles first with Inter and especially for the champions league even though it's a difficult competition but he has to be able to make the most of it. But the main thing now is the Scudetto because Inter is now at the top and continues to be overshadowed by Juventus.

Maybe I'm quite curious about Marseille's next journey because this team is still in 6th position and to reach a place like last season they have to be able to shift several teams above them. I mean their journey this time will not be easy but at least they are having a pretty good season and even though in their previous match they only drew against Montpellier but at least they still got 4 wins in the last 5 matches.

From January to early February next year, Marseille will face 3 quite troublesome opponents, namely Strasbourg, Monaco and Lyon. However, I am very optimistic that Marseille can beat Strasbourg, but not against Monaco and Lyon. The reason is that these two teams are also on the rise and especially for Lyon, even though their current position is still at the bottom of the board, fighting Marseille will certainly remain an arena for prestige between big teams in Ligue 1. Apart from that, I hope Marseille can do their best and don't let it happen. let your guard down with the team.
Marseille is one of the best clubs in Ligue 1 after PSG and they were not good in this season like few others, but now they are doing good which bring them to the 6th spot which is surely good comeback with now they are having tough challenging time because if they want to have better spot in this season like last season then needs to improve quality and play with consistency which can helps them 6 points difference from third spot Monaco is surely looking not tough on papers with few top clubs are losing their consistency and performance with this all most chances they are able to have chance for the jumping at this point but still not easy.

Lille dropping points and Brest is playing like surprise package mean things are in good shape and if they are able to have something positive from these three matches then surely it's going to be easy for them Strasbourg having three matches winning streak before break and Monaco and Lyon are also trying to give their best in rest of the season.
I still remember when Marseille were quite slumped in 12th place in the standings at the start of the season and indeed they did a good job before half the season was over. I think they have fixed the previous problems and also continue to carry out intensive training so that the results are commensurate with what they want. It certainly wasn't easy for Marseille because they managed to suppress their opponents at the end and at the same time overtook several other teams that were sitting above them.

But it is an extraordinary thing and in a little while they will be back to where they should be. Monaco did not get maximum results, but their previous defeat also made sense because they lost to Lyon and PSG, which incidentally are also big teams in Ligue 1, the rest are opponents that they should be able to win against. Maybe to overtake Lille, I think Marseille will be able to, but if they approach Brest, the difference in points is quite large. But usually a surprise team like Brest won't last long and it's just a matter of time before they lose consistency in the next few matches.

Everton actually gave Manchester city the scare, as they went up on the first half and actually forced Manchester city to only have few opportunities in the first half.
But as always Manchester city rose to the occasion and came back to a three goal to one win over Everton, I still think this is not the best city performance yet and we would be seeing a better Manchester city in the future hopefully.
I agree that this was not Manchester City's best performance and if they were in their proper form they should have scored first and even closed the first half with two goals. But in fact, here it was Everton who managed to take advantage of Manchester City's less than convincing performance and as we know, it dealt quite a major blow to Pep Guardiola's squad in the first half.

Certainly Pep Guardiola was annoyed and angry with the performance of his players and in the dressing room he provided a new strategy so that Manchester City could be sharper in their attacks. The result was as we saw and they responded with 3 goals from Alvarez, Bernardo and Grealish. It is never too late for Manchester City to change its pattern of play and they are doing their job well to continue to be able to achieve better performance in the future.

So Steven Gerard only reaching1 point against the last team and the worst one of the league? Plus in home condition?. I dont really know why they dont expell him from the charge of main coach.

They have 4 super higg level players, Jordan Henderson, Wijnaldum, Dembele, and Gray, you cant do this bad with that names.
Luckily I didn't enter the Al-Ettifaq vs Al-Hazm match and if I had said yes, my bet would have been finished from the start. I still can't believe they only drew 1-1 and this is another failure for Steven Gerrard as Al-Ettifaq coach. I think Al-Ettifaq will start to recover in this match because in the last few matches they have never won again and I think this will be the start of their revival.

But unfortunately they couldn't offer this to the fans who came to support him and this result also gave Steven Gerrard a red report and soon his fate would begin to be at stake. It is appropriate for Steven Gerrard to be fired because in fact as a coach he is not good enough and with the squad of European players he currently has he is not able to maximize it. On the other hand, I also heard news that Steven Gerrard wants new European players in January and this is actually not a problem of a lack of European players but it is just Steven Gerrard who cannot manage the squad well.

I think the previous signing of Moise Caicedo was the biggest failure for Chelsea because the player who was priced at more than 100 million euros could not contribute for half a season with Chelsea and it is possible that this player will be projected to be a starter to replace him. There is no information regarding the costs and contracts that apply to Pape Daouda Diong at Chelsea and what is clear is that the costs are not cheap. Well, hopefully this time Pape Daouda Diong can give the Stamford Bridge public the expectations they deserve.

Jesus Christ!! I don't know how you go ahead to say things like this comfortably, How can you say Caicedo is a failed player? All he needs has to be some good level of consistentcy so he can bounce back. Not just him Mauricio Pochetino should know how to manage the big names, failure to do that as a manager then you don't deserve to be in that club as a manager.

I don't even know this player called Papa Daouda, I'll go see his highlights on YouTube to see what he brings into the Chelsea squad. They uave too much young players now they have to try to mix them up with experience players.
Saddens me to an extent that Victor Oshime wouldn't be making a move to Chelsea this season no more. Good luck to him with the rest of the season.

Source: https://www.whoscored.com/Players/410175/Show/Mois%C3%A9s-Caicedo

I think you don't pay much attention to Caicedo and maybe I don't mind if you disagree with me. As we know during this half season with Chelsea, I think he is a defensive midfielder who failed because he often made mistakes and conceded goals. Not just once or twice, but he did it repeatedly and it was quite detrimental to Chelsea. For more details, you can see the complete notes in the image above.

Even in his 20 appearances with Chelsea there is nothing he can be proud of other than getting a total of 5 yellow cards in active competitions and in terms of goals or assists he is also unable to do so. Well, I understand goals are not a priority for a defensive midfielder but at least he can contribute through assists. Just compare it with Rodri (Manchester City), even at a cheaper cost, he plays an active role in the defensive midfielder position at Manchester City and he also often contributes fully with goals and assists for important wins. I think that's enough and maybe Caicedo is the most overrated midfielder in the EPL and it was a failed purchase for Chelsea.

It is true that Girona can still beat Atletico Madrid, because everyone knows that Girona's performance this season looks very good and is able to apply brilliant pressure in its attack patterns against the opponent's goal. With consistent performances and strong ambition, Girona is indeed one of the teams that deserves to be favored in this weekend's match. Hopefully they can maintain their impressive performance and achieve positive results to reach the top of the standings. However, you need to remember that Atletico Madrid has Griezmann and Rodrigo de Paul in its front lines to always put pressure on Girona's goal. So Girona must be wary of attacks from Atletico Madrid, especially those carried out by the two attackers who are considered to play an important role by Atletico Madrid in scoring goals.

They could still do that but I'm seeing a much different scoreline from that. They wouldn't find it too easy just the way they want it to be. They will be at home though and if you go check how they have done during the last five games compare with how Atletico Madrid has done, you'll see that they have won four and just draw on of them games.

They remain a major threat to the top of the league chasers, a slight displacement and they'll be gone already. Some names to watch on that day would be Dovbyk A, Antonio Griezmann, and lastly Alvaro Morata who all have scored similar goals. The game ending square is all I see. They would definitely win the next game away against Almeria who are currently bottom in the La Liga standing.
Girona's home win was undeniable and they were always strong, but against Real Madrid their home advantage was broken. But at least after the defeat at home they can still defend until now and the next challenge is against Atletico. I don't deny that Girona will have quite a difficult match in the next match, just like against Real Madrid and maybe they will find it quite difficult to win against Atletico and it will just end.

Several players from the two teams you mentioned are indeed the main weapons and I will add Stuani to the list and surely they will also join the list of goal scorers in that match. However, the prediction result is still unclear and the most likely thing is a draw and if that happens then Real Madrid will move a little more freely because they have a significant distance from Girona.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 28, 2023, 02:36:08 PM
technically both Roma and Juventus play a very defensive scheme, the differences in the two teams are the players and Juventus has technically stronger players. it won't be an easy match for both and we are unlikely to see many goals. the different ambitions of the two teams will give rise to a great challenge
Roma has the ability to defend and Juventus is much stronger in defense and attack and technically this is what makes Juventus probably quite the favorite to come out on top. But for Jose Mourinho, this match will feel quite important because they are fighting to climb into the top five of the standings and a win or draw against Juventus will add great motivation to them.

AS Roma is three points behind Bologna who is ranked fourth and two points behind Fiorentina. So a win or draw against Juventus will create an opportunity for AS Roma to catch up on the points left behind by the two teams.

yes ok but if both defend, neither wins
It doesn't seem like a good deal to me, especially for Juventus, who lose 2 points behind Inter
if she wants to stay attached to him she must take risks and try to win, not go on defense
I disapprove of this strategy, just defense

Juventus is not a typical defensive team and they are much more attacking than Roma. We all know that this is an important opportunity for Juventus to immediately overtake Inter from the top of the standings and they don't have time to provide more defense than attack. Allegri knows what his team has to do in the next match and they will aim for full points rather than just one point against Roma.

I'm sure Juventus can do it, especially if Roma concedes first then that could be a strong signal that Juventus will win and will even score another goal. Roma will not be able to withstand Juventus' attacks even though they are known for their strong defense and it seems the results are already visible with the readiness of each of these teams.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: December 28, 2023, 02:18:11 PM
A major source of income?, that depends on the individual and how successful the gambler has become, I only gamble for fun and have a major source of income, gambling is a 50/50 thing and somthing I don't control the outcome or have influence over it, So making a major source of income is a no to me, but a side hustle on my end, or I would rather consider it a second source of income and that would be based on how profitable I have become with it.
It's the same with me, I gamble just to increase my income and also just to buy snacks or go to entertainment venues. I don't think that gambling will be a main or viable source of income and even if I win big, I consider it a bonus income.

Maybe there are also people who depend on gambling as their main income and usually this is for people who have large capital and each time they bet the amount is not small. Meanwhile, for me, betting using around $3 to $10 is a satisfaction that I can do at any given time. But it all comes down to how they manage it and as a player who tries to make his fortune in gambling like me, that is not the main source of income.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 28, 2023, 02:00:05 PM
This game is mega important for Arsenal and I'm sure the lads will find a way to win , take 3 vital points and also take 1st position in EPL who in my opinion will be a deserved one for them after what we saw from Arsenal's games so far.

The other game , Brighton vs Spurs could be a draw with both teams to score or it could be a Spurs victory but also with both teams to score.  Grin
The Gunners will certainly not waste their home advantage and indeed they are targeting the top spot through this victory against West Ham and again overtaking Liverpool. There is no doubt for Arsenal to win but it will definitely be by a narrow score considering that the opponent is West Ham who have also performed quite well so far. The Arsenal players will also be fine and there doesn't seem to be any problems so they will reassure the Emirati stadium public with 3 additional points.

On the other hand, Brighton vs Spurs is the most difficult match to predict because the possibility of these two teams winning is very large and perhaps a draw is also a worthy consideration. I did not include this match in my multibet because the risk of fluctuation was very large and could destroy my other betting list. So yes, I hope the best for both of them and I don't favor anyone in this match because both of them are worthy enough to win.
2013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 28, 2023, 01:50:17 PM
There are still people who can get rid of gambling addiction even though it is difficult to stop. It's really dangerous when you're addicted to gambling because your life will surely be ruined, you'll be in debt just by gambling, so let's avoid getting totally addicted to gambling because when you're addicted, you'll be in trouble.
Not only being in debt but also committing criminal acts such as stealing and others, the dangers of gambling addiction can really make someone do things they don't normally do, that's why gamblers must be more responsible when gambling so they don't feel addicted because gambling addiction is difficult to cure and It's true that not many people have successfully recovered from gambling addiction.

As much as possible, prevention is better than becoming addicted to gambling, control yourself when gambling and don't be greedy to get more wins, enjoy the game as we enjoy entertainment in other entertainment venues so don't be too obsessed with the demands of winning big when gambling, understand that we will never always win against the dealer, in fact we may only win occasionally and lose many times.
This is a phenomenon that we usually see in news papers or in the media that we often know about and indeed the crime rate is difficult to control. However, gambling addiction is not good, especially for yourself, and can even destroy your life in an instant. The importance of managing all the bad possibilities that should be stopped and also again, they must be able to stop gambling at the right time.

Prevention is good but sometimes it doesn't last long and each person has their own assessment of the addiction cases they experience. I think the importance of the people closest to them being able to warn them against gambling addiction is an important factor besides the advice you gave above. It's not easy to remind gambling addicts, but it's better than leaving them alone to face the problem.
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 28, 2023, 01:38:28 PM
Yes, it's true that the Real Madrid squad is much better than the Leverkusen squad. If we looking at the current situation, Leverkusen is still quite stable with a squad that is usually at Leverkusen. What if Xabi Alonso trains Real Madrid, which has a more capable squad? of course Xabi Alonso will achieve success with Real Madrid and will probably get more than 1 title in 1 season, I really look forward to Xabi Alonso coaching a club like Real Madrid after all this will also make Xabi Alonso a successful coach if he trains a big club and is able to wins title.

A coach will be able to bring out the best potential from a club if the club has players and a style of play that suits the coach. That doesn't mean that if you are very great as a coach at a club, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will be even greater if you coach a club with higher quality players. There are many factors such as the coach's approach to the players or how the coach manages the existing squad to be able to play with the expected tactics. I agree that Xabi is a great young coach at the moment but if he were to coach Real Madrid then it would be a different challenge.
Obviously it would be different and I agree with you. Xabi Alonso will not bother to train Real Madrid with the golden generation squad they have now and maybe Xabi Alonso will only make slight adjustments so that his game becomes neater. It's different from what Xabi Alonso has done at Leverkusen and it's purely because of his perseverance and also the potential he sees in his players so that his game is very beautiful and difficult to predict. What I still really don't expect is that Leverkusen this season has scored 81 goals in all competitions and it's still half the season. The number of goals scored by his players is extraordinary and I can't understand how Xabi Alonso can conjure his players to be so fierce in front of the opponent's goal.

4:2 against Barcelona in Camp Nuo is actually an intentional defeat that deserve all the hypes it can get. Girona did not only win Barcelona, they played well and the goals were deserving. Remember that first half ended 1:2 which means that should Barcelona had what it takes to defeat Girona, the second half would have been enough time for a come back. Unfortunately, Giron still scored 2 goals in the second half thereby eliminating any hope of the Catalans equalizing.

The last match of Girona against Real Betis was actually what surprised me and the reason Real Madrid is at the top of the table again. Girona was supposed to win the match and not settle for a 1:1 draw. Now that Real Madrid is at the top, it will be difficult for them to leave that position unless they become distracted by their champions league matches.

The match between the two teams from Catalan was indeed very exciting and as a bigger team with a long history they actually fell in front of a new team challenging for the La Liga title this season and it was definitely an unforgettable defeat for Barcelona. The Blaugrana should be able to take advantage of home advantage to stop the progress of one of the teams threatening their title this season but it seems that with the current squad they cannot match Girona's game. As a result, defeat was inevitable and they had to accept this result.

Real Betis is the team that has managed to stop the fast pace of the two teams currently competing to win the title and maybe it will be Barcelona's turn to get less than satisfactory results when they meet Real Betis at the end of January next year. Real Betis is very strong and they also try to give their best results against teams that are much stronger and I really appreciate their performance.

Chelsea has signed another young player and this time it is the turn of the Senegalese U17 player, Pape Daouda Diong, who will go to Stamford Bridge. He is a midfielder and it seems Chelsea are not quite satisfied with the options they have at the moment. So in essence, even though Leipzig are not the favorites, it is hoped that they can give a surprise, especially when they face Real Madrid in the round of 16. I think this is very normal and it is impossible for football to always run as usual. I also hope that Leipzig can give Real Madrid a tough match and if they can win in one of the legs it will certainly be a good achievement. Playing against Real Madrid is something that most teams avoid and unfortunately Leipzig have to face them again after qualifying from the group stage.

Leipzig is not a bad team, even though their quality is below Madrid. Madrid may still experience serious problems in the next match. Moreover, Leipzig will play at home in the first leg. Leipzig still has to take advantage, because to win at home to Madrid in the second leg, it will be quite difficult for Leipzig.

Leipzig qualified for the round of 16 with second place. while Madrid escaped with a complete victory without defeat. Of course, the favorite in this match is Madrid, but Leipzig can still fight and provide the best resistance to prove that the Champions League does not only belong to Madrid and other strong teams.
I hope that all the unseeded teams have a spirit that exceeds all the strength possessed by the big teams in the Champions League and as you said they have to prove it and don't be too fixated on fate that they will fall first. Everyone still has the opportunity to provide equal resistance and here Leipzig must do it from the first leg and if they succeed in doing so, of course Real Madrid will be quite under pressure in the second leg.

But that is provided that Leipzig can maintain a draw or at least have a difference of 1 goal on the aggregate of the first leg and that will increase their confidence in going to Santiago Bernabeu. It's difficult but they have to try and not have any regrets or give up from the first match. Of course, Real Madrid will always be challenged by a team like that and it will make them play more attractively.

After being made nervous by Chelsea's victory, I finally decided to cash out on my multibet and yes, at least I still got a decent profit. I will not continue with the Arsenal vs West Ham match which will take place today and will further secure the 3 matches that have already been won. I don't doubt that Arsenal won't win, but considering that Manchester City was even made difficult by Everton, my feeling is that it's better to bet here rather than later not meeting the expected results.

I bet with a handicap (-1) because I saw that the normal odds were so small and if Arsenal won by a narrow score it would be a waste of time. So that's what I thought so decided on that and later I will try betting on Arsenal again with the addition of a different match.

Judging by Al-Nassr's impressive results so far, it has also finally placed the duo Ronaldo and Talisca at the top of the list of two attacking players in the top league 23/24. This is because the combination of these two players has managed to contribute 30 goals so far and the number will definitely continue to increase. The duet from other Al-Hilal players, namely Mitrovic and Malcom, is in 4th place with a total goal contribution of 25 goals. I will not exaggerate the results and after all other competitions are also more difficult than the Saudi league, but if we talk about Ronaldo and Talisca's achievements with Al-Nassr, of course it is worth celebrating. I hope that Al-Nassr will continue to maintain these two goal machines and provide them with longer contracts so that they can continue to contribute to the team's victory.

But on the other hand, there are many weaker leagues, but for some reason we don’t hear anything about records from there. For example Scotland where Celtic and Rangers dominate all other decades and the level of their dominance is as great as it can be within one league. It's about specific players. In the end, Ronaldo always scored a lot in every club and championship where he played and either set records or was close to them.

By the way, it’s interesting that in second place is Bayern, which dominates (although not this season still) in the Bendesliga, and in third place very close is a couple from Stuttgart, which is an ordinary club.

It turns out that Ronaldo has one game left this year, and Haaland has two, and these games will decide who of them will be the top scorer among all the leagues. It is clear that goals in the top 5 leagues are counted with a coefficient of 1, and in the rest with a coefficient of 0.5, and Ronaldo (even if Al-Nasr played in Europe) could not qualify for the golden boot, but I am very interested to see the result this rivalry.
The level of player popularity also seems to have a big influence on the placement of these players and we cannot avoid the fact that Ronaldo's name is bigger than that of one of the leagues in Europe. Maybe that's what makes the assessment of all this and it is indeed a very good achievement at an age that is no longer young.

There is no need to doubt the two pairs from the two Bundesliga clubs this season because they have carried out major changes to create this attacking duo. But for Stuttgart it was indeed something that exceeded expectations. But despite all that there are no representatives from EPL or La Liga teams and perhaps this is more of a fairly easy league level.

That's right, that will be the last match of the year for Ronaldo and his competition will only be with Haaland. But unfortunately Haaland is currently suffering from an injury and even in last night's match he was not seen on the field. So whether Ronaldo or Haaland's final match this week (Haaland has also recovered from injury) will determine which one of them will win the award for the player with the most goals in 2023.
