I want to sell 0.02 BTC for Paypal USD (bitstamp price). This is a paypal transaction so you know the deal: - Reputable members only
- You send first, unless you're more reputable than me
I'll be willing to do this. I dont mind sending first since you're a mod. Edit: Don't know if I'd be classed as 'reputable' yet, so if not, no probs, but I am looking to build up some feedback/trades.

What do you think will be the impact of alternative cryptocurrencies? Do you think that sellers will start accepting more and more different kinds of coins, or will they just be used as a way to trade something you can turn into Bitcoin later (which you will then use to make purchases)?
If people are using 'em and paying good money for 'em, businesses will start taking 'em. There's already a few stores that accept FTC and others cryptos.

Because it seems to be the best BTC/Crypto community Because there's a hell of a lot of info and help available by knowledgeable peeps. Because you can win/earn free coins Because you can sell and buy shit. Because of the sometimes intelligent discussion Because of the sometimes stupid discussion Because It's sometimes like 4chanAnd I think I just found it by googling 'bitcoin forum' haha.

Well its a nice novelty item.
Can seriously anyone just give me the 10$ so I can just chat on btc-e though?
Do me a sign with my username and I'll send you $10 in LTC or FTC. Make it pretty and draw a little stick man on it with a little stick cock and balls.

Trying to explain the irreversibility to the lay person. How is this: Think of Bitcoin like cash in this regard. When you give cash to a friend, no third-party can reverse that transaction. Somebody could beat him up and take it off him or force him to give it back haha. But yeah, your description seems about right apart from maybe "When you send a "Bitcoin to someone, no one in the world can reverse that transaction"... the recipient can send it back, but semantics ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .

The internet is going to be broken up... What a stupid thing to say. I would like to give you a high five... in the face... with a chair!
How about you research a bit about this magical internet? There are roughly 50+ cables , some of them coming out of the sea on popular beaches , unprotected, that support more than 2/3 of the total internet trafic. Cut those , and you're gonna cry waiting hours for the google webpage to load if ever. What, really? Edit: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1196775/Web-trouble-The-hidden-cables-Cornish-beach-feeding-worlds-internet.htmlGeeze, this is incredible. Why haven't these been terrorised yet haha? There'd be a good film in this. *In cliché movie voice* Imagine a world with no internet.....Because until now there hasn't been a moron with the appropriate tools who wanted to damage them ... If we speak about a country wanting to cut them.... It will take only two medium class warships to take all the cables between America (continent) and Europe in less than 12 hours. Also , all the submarine cables than go to South and Central America run through the US. Geeze, for some reason I find this both terrifying and exhilarating. Sounds like armageddon. There would definitely be a good film idea in this. Edit, Not the film Armageddon lol.

I just got one four letter word from my dad:
SELL
Did you give him any four letter words back?

Not MtGox lol. Try https://localbitcoins.com. You can buy them in person for cash. Alternatively, just spend a little time on here researching exchanges and decide what is best for you or your friends.

I want to see this option on every website haha. I hope cryptos become the new paypal.

No, but I believe developers are working on 'multiwallets'. They probably won't be able to hold all coins, but some of the most popular ones. I hope so that this will come to see a day light. This will be great if that come in next year perhaps. +1 The rate and amount of products that will pop up for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies next year will be incredible. It's going to be exciting witnessing the rise as it gains momentum and mainstream acceptance. I can't wait to see what big companies will start accepting it. Can you imagine if Amazon or ebay or some other major retailer took the plunge?
