2021  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Found that Russian sellers are scamming on ebay by selling bitcoin on: January 01, 2021, 04:58:19 PM
The fact is that that PayPal CEO just wants you to buy bitcoin for paypal and hold it for paypal, otherwise they did nothing adopting bitcoin. I do not think so that Bitcoin will be hitting 100K or a million if declined by the people due to such kind of frauds. People invest where there they find that their investment is safe.

This is a policy that seems to be a big obstacle for some of the Paypal user community. they deliberately enforced detention rules. while the authorities always rebelled against their actions. until recently most people were afraid to deposit their bitcoin in a paypal wallet for that reason. considering not only the large amount, if the amount of bitcoin in a paypal wallet is small, this will really make its users uncomfortable.
2022  Economy / Economics / Re: Money on: January 01, 2021, 04:39:22 PM

I do not think so, virtual currency can be used outside the system. Take Old School Runescape Gold, most players participate in RWT(Real World Trading) where they sell the gold in game for cash. Currency is a complicated topic.

It is true that there are still certain platforms where virtual currency can be cashed into money according to the compatible exchanges on those platforms. like a game currently being played by many people. Although it is not free to play, there is a kind of fee charged.
2023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Simple prediction: 2024 bitcoin at 200.000 dollars on: January 01, 2021, 04:25:37 PM

may 2016 bitcoin worth about 400 to 500 dollars. This is during the halving time.
may 2020 bitcoin is worth 10000 dollars. 20x
may 2024 bitcoin is worth 10000 x 20 ? = 200.000 dollars ?! Wink

This is quite reasonable and can be used as research where in May there are always surprises like a gateway for bitcoin, even though it's the beginning of the halving which will be the same at the end of the year than in May. need to do research in this regard. There could be a correlation that is deliberately used as a benchmark. but even though I still can't say it in full. because I need a sufficient basis to support whatever speculation is said.
2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My first time to invest in crypto BTC, now looking for another coin DigiByte on: December 31, 2020, 07:03:33 PM
Thanks for a few people that participated. Yes, I won't hold for long term because BTC is where my heart's at. Thanks and happy New Year!
You won't for long term with bitcoin? I think you have to rethink with that decision. That 2 bitcoins you have can change your entire life if you are in long term.
But it's your strategy if you don't do it for long term. And that's just an advice that you might consider changing in the future about holding bitcoin in long term. It is why everyone says HODL.

Yes, I just want to add that the supply of bitcoin is decreasing every year, so automatically the rarer, the price will be higher. it was no different from ancient antiques like treasure.
maybe he should rethink his decision. because having 2 bitcoins for now is not easy for us.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you trust social media influencers on cryptocurrencies. on: December 31, 2020, 06:32:32 PM
for me influencers can't easily say that bitcoin will go up, so they encourage their followers to join in and follow what he has to say. Remember that we are traders, where a trader has his own principles. If you only follow when the influencer brags, then what if the influencer is silent? is our trade also silent?
plus you say that "they are active when the market is bull and silent when the market is sluggish". How is it different today when the news on television finds out that bitcoin price has crossed $ 30.000 and is silent when bitcoin is priced at $ 10.000?
2026  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Resistance From $30K-$40K? on: December 31, 2020, 06:22:30 PM
I think there will be resistance even if the bitcoin price hits $ 40,000. there are resting points where the volume cannot bear the weight. Say the current price of bitcoin is $ 40,000, then there will be a drop of up to $35,000. Wouldn't that be a possibility to touch resistance? based on the period determined when doing the analysis technique.
2027  Economy / Economics / Re: Out of Reach on: December 31, 2020, 06:05:45 PM

So, we can't term it to be out of reach. It has grown high that has made it more of an investment for the elite group people.

yes you are right, if it is said out of reach it means that at least 1 bitcoin is purchased, even though in reality it is not, the market allows someone to buy bitcoin according to the money they have. for example buying 0.001 btc and it can still be owned.
so it's not quite right if there are statements out of reach
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi Change the People Prospective? on: December 29, 2020, 05:23:58 PM
I think Defi is not bad, but currently trying to avoid investing that smells of Defi, everyone is focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum, indicating a hustle and bustle of the market is happening there.
back to you, because we only have advice, regardless of how confident you are investing in Defi.
2029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: December 29, 2020, 05:07:57 PM

The patience that you will have into those times will help you grow and improve yourself into temperance. Many are complaining that their investments were in losses because they have sold at loss and they can't attain to hold further. That resulted them to being tempted to sell whether it is a loss for them.

yeah right, of course we have to learn to hold it for a while
  time, before prices rise again
It's easy to say, even old traders often get out of control when they see this kind of phenomenon.
but that's what we need to develop continuously so that we get used to it and don't panic easily.
2030  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: December 29, 2020, 04:55:47 PM
In my country, there has been no lockdown since the emergence of this pandemic.  The government only makes large-scale social restrictions to deal with the pandemic.  For the development of Covid-19 which has mutated in the UK and spread again to several countries, the government in my country limits the foreigners who come.  Maybe what will have an impact is on the tourism side which yesterday started to return to normal but was restricted again because visitors from outside countries were prohibited from visiting my country.

I think your country is quite disciplined, but unlike the country I live in, people are fed up with government regulations that only restrict people from interacting, whereas government officials are the opposite. they held massive celebrations and caused huge crowds. but there are no sanctions, on the other hand, if there are people who crowd around, they will automatically be sanctioned and even imprisoned.
Do you see anything that is abnormal with the regulations in the country I live in?
I feel like I really am in a dictatorial country.
2031  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin price start Falling? on: December 29, 2020, 04:38:02 PM

When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?

everyone will say that "I CANNOT SURE WHEN BITCOIN WILL DOWN" The reason is simple, because the market share of bitcoin is not owned individually. so it is very difficult to say when bitcoin goes down and when it will go up.
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done to you? on: December 29, 2020, 04:28:43 PM

What has bitcoin done to you? Is it Happiness or Regret?

Personally and have felt from what bitcoin has done for me, which is to provide a new platform to manage our finances as widely as possible, giving the advantage of freedom of transactions without having to involve a third party.

Why didn't I say profit from bitcoin? because profit is the fruit of your hard work. Even though the advantages of bitcoin are many, not only profitable, but also an investment alternative which until now cannot be avoided by all large investors so as not to be tempted by bitcoin.
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When This Scam Will stop?? on: December 28, 2020, 02:15:34 PM
We all know that it was a very popular forum back in 2017-2018.

after that, every altcoin announcement and project was like a total scam, Every new member became a copper member for management of a project.
I mean why isn't there any rules for this?
Every day there is so many coins launched in the market but they didn't even know about this forum.

because it is difficult to choose a project that is said to be a scam. need a reference and also a very sophisticated detector. In this forum, of course, there are a lot of scam projects that are scattered, and therefore we all here must also participate in destroying the project in order to maintain the stability of the forum. we can easily post reports indicating a project scam, so moderators can take action immediately.
2034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any relationship between Gold and Bitcoin ? on: December 28, 2020, 01:58:17 PM
first of all we can see how the positions of the two assets. Based on this fact, there is a lot of speculation that says gold and bitcoin have a correlation. and not a few also said there was no correlation. So which I think is both true, because gold is a real asset and can be seen from its physical form, it is mined with various heavy equipment. while bitcoin is digital gold that can only be mined using software on a computer, bitcoin is in limited supply whereas gold is not.
2035  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: December 28, 2020, 01:38:04 PM

KYC means : Know your Customer through documents, identity documents which does have your clear image on them and I do believe that there is literally nothing that could pay them money by keeping our identities. Except the FBI ofcourse but I rather not think that they gonna be paying anyone money.
The real reason why they do this is because they want to keep a track of everyone, of their money, where it is going and how much they have, how many bank accounts they are operating etc.. they just need it to track us down 🔻 if something bad happens and at the same time the government uses this to create a database.

Yes, you are right buddy, because the bank will not allow the money to be taken without strong collateral. this is very common in the world of any based economy. the point is always subject to guarantees for any behavior concerned with any bank. they do not want the system to suffer a loss if at any time the account holder is easily lost without collateral and data is submitted.
2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Won`t the central bankers still win in the end? on: December 28, 2020, 01:19:19 PM

It gives power to people with fiat AKA central bankers, not power to the people.

Coins are bought with fiat, Electricity is bought with fiat, Miners are bought with fiat, Fiat wins.

Should anyone win between Fiat and Bitcoin? What is the reason for that? There's no need to confuse fiat and bitcoin, because they complement each other. Bitcoin value is seen in terms of fiat value. and there's really nothing to worry about.
But why is it as if bitcoin never came to terms with fiat?
between bitcoin and fiat, I keep using both. and it's not a big problem.
2037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is a fair transaction fee for the Bitcoin transaction? on: December 28, 2020, 12:58:01 PM
A fair transaction fee should be free, otherwise it is a tax.

in my opinion if it's free it's not worth the results you get. taxes are very necessary, held for the sake of sustainability and the position of bitcoin as an important asset. However, the problem of high fees needs to be reduced to give bitcoin holders more space to continue to exist in the cryptocurrency universe. so this shouldn't cause anxiety for holders of bitcoins under $ 10-100. but until now, will the miners provide relief?
2038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy Bitcoin Cheaper on: December 24, 2020, 08:03:43 PM

Then there's no difference at all with that description through the usual exchange.

As buyers can also simply put up a lower price which how much they want to but the thing is, no one is willing to sell it at a lower price unless the market drops and reaches the price that has been set.

Right when you think about it, then what's the difference? I think it's the same, choose any price we want. I just realized, hehehe
What are the advantages and disadvantages that differentiate P2P exchanges from the exchanges we are used to?
why are things like this hardly discussed in more detail?
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time For Alt Coins.. on: December 24, 2020, 07:46:47 PM
Not bad if the altcoin price is currently undergoing a major correction, as a result when everyone is tired of not being able to own bitcoin because the price is not affordable, then the potential for altcoins is very large, considering that currently altcoins have not created a significant movement. as long as we can still choose which altcoins really have great potential in the future.
2040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price will Rise to $60,000 by December 2021 on: December 24, 2020, 07:34:42 PM
whatever you say can be true, because it does not rule out. considering the dwindling supply of bitcoin this makes bitcoin even rarer. You deserve to have that speculation. Meanwhile it is still predictable, because this year's ATH alone no one expected to have come this far. but we also need to look back at future market demand conditions.
