2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in Amsterdam on: April 29, 2014, 10:54:02 PM

Wow... the prices are really competitive. I heard that the Robocoin ATM costs more than $20,000. If the facts given in this picture are true, then this is much more affordable to common users.  Grin

Smiley Those Flies are not too expensive indeed Smiley and those looks so lovely! Nicer than Robocoin ATMs

I will make a litlle video tomorrow to show you guys how fast it's works.
Great prices. They look great.
Waiting to see how it works Smiley

Giftcoins! You said no changes would be made to your provably fair system when I last asked about it and now I am now asking again with a thread that proves your site is not provably fair.

Will you make the necessary changes to be fair to your players or are you happy as is? The thread is

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582687.0

Just in case you want to see for yourself. I don't want anyone getting scammed by a site that isn't provably fair so I want to bring this to your attention again.

I'll answer to the best of my knowledge.
There is a clock issue that will most probably fixed soon. It might be caused by lack of processing power since the site is pretty heavy. Causes it to stutter or to run late or early if you run it side by side in different browsers/computers.
Using server time in provability fair system seems fine with me. Showing it the ms in the website rolls, or removing ms from its betID checker will shut up those hating voices.

Tech stuff apart, that thread is confusing and not helpful at all. I am looking to understand this issue properly and I believe RGBKey is providing room for accusations instead of really helping out users. I just wonder sometimes why he mostly attacks PD competitors. But that's another issue.

Cheers
I am impartial. Just because your provably fair system sucks doesn't mean otherwise. Don't try to draw attention away from that. And changing how you use the time will not change anything, everything in my scam accusations thread still applies.

Saying that something can be rigged doesn't prove it is rigged . Yes it has flaws , but every system has flaws , every system can be rigged.
But that doesnt mean or prove it is rigged.
You are right. But if the system isn't Probably Fair, then I don't think it should be advertised like that (it is advertised as Probably Fair in the first post).

2028  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do YOU know a wallet is safe to use? on: April 29, 2014, 10:09:49 PM
So I see disagreement about open source wallets and beta wallets - so let me ask you guys:

(1) What exactly IS the official site?  Bitcoin.org, Bitcoin.com?
(2) The wallet I downloaded and have been using is Bitcoin-Qt version v0.8.6-beta and the new one says it is 0.9 - and I thought I downloaded it from the "official " site.  Have I already screwed up?

The official site for Bitcoin Core (previously called Bitcoin-qt) is bitcoin.org, and the latest version should 0.9.1.
Each wallet has its own official site (eg. https://electrum.org/ for Electrum)
I personally think the only wallets you should use are like these: real wallets where you actually own your Bitcoins.
Using online wallets is the worst decision you can make.

15 British pounds =
18.2874928 Euros

324.65089 (current kraken.com EUR price)*0.45=146.0929005 €

A bit overpriced, don't you think?

  • If one of your referrals clicks on someone else's referral link, they're still yours.
Does this mean the referral is always credited to the first link they clicked?
2033  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] Method to get ~0.04 BTC every day. on: April 29, 2014, 05:31:48 PM
my guess is using coinurl along with some ad promotion in a paid to click sites

btw coinurl is a nice way to make some extra if used in a right way  Wink

only thing, i don't know if they pay (haven't reached the payout limit yet)

Coinurl is paying pretty low, and I doubt you can get 0.04 btc a day with it...

This is a problem with CoinURL ...they pay pretty low and very few people have reached their threshold since Feb 2014. Should be avoided...

Getting 0.04/day from CoinURL with 0.001/30min is pretty difficult.

My guess is that secret takes your money then sends you some marketing materials about investing and whatnot.  Again, if this were a real 'secret' to free money, why sell it (and risk those people also selling it and risk it not working anymore)?  IMHO, logic says that this is a scam.
Maybe the secret is selling a method to earn Bitcoins on Bitcointalk Smiley
2034  Economy / Services / Re: New Faucet (25,000,000 satoshi sweepstakes) LOTS OF FUN AT OUR FAUCET! on: April 29, 2014, 04:09:35 PM
has anyone actually won anything beside the minimum amount of satoshis?  I always like to know this before getting involved in another faucet site.  GL
And, what is the % for each prize? It isn't shown on the site.

Never seen this. An awesome solution to make it much safer to use on public places (although one still needs to be careful, this surely would help prevent others read the Paper OTP codes as easily as if they were printed normally).

The following errors are found:

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined (learn.php:346)
It seems you forgot to include the jQuery js.
Also, you're using the "adblock" ID several times in the page - it's recommended to use classes in that situation.

To take a screenshot of your face:  Pull your big toe and middle toe together then press your belly button.
Only if you're a Samsung human being with an specific version. Else you need to root to get a screenshot.

Seriously, this is ridiculous. One thing is asking for documents, but this is going out of hand.
