2021  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 2011 Error 1BTC Series 1 on: June 01, 2015, 06:40:10 AM
That coin has been tampered with...I have tried taking pictures of some error coins from all angles and can not replicate that. OP if you bought the coin that way I would redeem it ASAP and just sell the peeled coin (they still fetch at least .2BTC)

+1. OP it does look like the hologram has been tampered with to about half the coin width which could have given access to the private key.

Either contact who you bought it from or redeem it yourself and sell or keep the blank as Blazedout said. Nobody is going to buy it just in case someone does have a copy of the private key and redeems the bitcoin themselves after the sale.

P.S. If you do decide to redeem it and wanted to sell I would be interested in buying the blank if you retained some of the hologram.

2024  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 0.2 btc for 50 euro paypal on: May 31, 2015, 11:04:15 AM
I will do this if you can send me a pic of you holding your ID and a statement that your buying goods via Paypal on "x" date.  The ID must match the verified paypal account associated with the transaction.

Have you done this before ? did you encounter any problems ?
Paypal is asking for 3.4% + about 0.4$  , do you also ask for that fee to be covered?

I think that's why most people ask for 7.5%+ above Preev rate when buying btc for Paypal to cover fees and make a little profit on top.

For the record I wouldn't sell btc for Paypal to a newbie at any rate, far too high a risk of charge back. I would sell to established members with decent trust feedback though.

Looks like a blatant scam.

2027  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Casascius 2013 Brass Halve (Graded MS-65) on: May 30, 2015, 10:17:25 PM
Hey Blazedout if you've got any more at this price I'm interested Wink.

The only coins I have for sale right now are more expensive. I was going to auction off a .5 brass MS-67, but after how low this went I will just keep it.

I dont blame you buddy. Only way to get what you really want is to sell at a set price rather than auction.

Well the 2013 brass market is tough with Camolist having so many for sale with such low prices. I like auctions for certain types of coins though like the brass stuff.

Yes I understand it must be a difficult market. I'll keep my eye out for your next auctions hopefully if I start saving now I might be able to afford one of your silvers Smiley. Any idea what you might be auctioning or selling?

I will do escrow with Tomatocage (no problems with him in the past).

Users that have purchased from me recently are MCHouston and blackheart13.

It would probably help with your sales if you had some trust comments from MCHouston and blackheart13 on your profile and Tomatocage could confirm he's escrowed for you in the past as looking at your profile you only have 1 negative comment which doesn't look very good. Also you havent left MCHouston or blackheart13 any feedback for their purchases.

This may be too soon to say this for sure, however I think that Brewins asked for a picture of the coin on the wrong auction.

Yes I think you could be right Cheesy

2035  Economy / Goods / Re: PlayStation 4 - $360/ Playstation 3 500GB - $199 + ESCROW on: May 30, 2015, 02:36:25 PM
I've removed negative trust as you've now changed your password and TECSHARE has vouched for you.

I'd still recommend that you post photos with name / date of the things you have for sale.

I'm keeping my eyes out for old inactive accounts that start posting again especially with things for sale after the recent hack, I think we'll start seeing quite a bit of activity from these old accounts from now on so we all need to be super vigilant to try and protect each other from the hackers / scammers.

How does he take a pic of it with his nick/date when he just claimed he orders it from amazon?

My mistake I hadn't read through the whole thread. At least escrow is being offered.

Bump.

Selling one PS4 and one PS3 500GB at the moment

Bit worrying that you haven't posted since September 13 before today or changed your password since hack.

You didn't sell the last ones because you never posted any photographic proof of ownership, you just disappeared after repeated requests for the photos. Not a good sign.
2038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Have to pay crypto ransome - Need to expedite block synchronization - HELP! on: May 29, 2015, 05:24:21 PM
Hi all.  I am new to this environment and am in desperate need of some help.  My business has been infected with a crypto virus and we are going to have to pay the ransome.  I have setup a wallet in the Bit Core ap and have transferred coins to it but it appears that there is a synchronization process that is taking forever to complete.  Is there a direct download of this data that would allow me to expedite?

Looking for any assistance you can offer.

I'm sorry to hear this, it really makes my blood boil criminals extorting bitcoin / money from people in this way. As advised above all you can do is wait it out I'm afraid.

Can you please let us know as many details as possible about your problem i.e. what its done to your pc or network, what message you're seeing, btc address you've been told to send payment too, how much are they demanding, do the criminals call themselves anything, did the infection come from an infected email attachment or download etc.
