2021  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Becareful from scam site Gate.io on: August 28, 2022, 04:40:39 PM
I have been using gate.io for quite a good long time since the very beginning of the bull run last time for trading some shitcoin as they aren't available on other good exchanges. I have never faced any issue like what you are mentioning as 2FA stopped working even when I had a few times more funds than you. Make sure that it's not a problem from your side. Did you try contacting their support? Also, as mentioned above, KYC has been mandatory to complete if you are going to use the exchange.
2022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy Tips: Don't send round amount on: August 27, 2022, 09:25:28 AM
A lot of the services and goods you pay for have a fixed value in USD, EURO, or some other fiat. So the amounts you send won't be round, and depending on how you earn your bitcoins, the UTXOs in your wallet aren't round either. Let's take signature payments as an example. You are mostly paid in a fixed USD amount converted to BTC. Therefore, it's unlikely that you will receive exactly 0.01 BTC. Getting 0.00991 BTC or 0.010005 BTC is more likely. And then if you are paying someone for some services, it's again usually a fiat amount converted to BTC. 0.00246792 BTC is $50 right now. Nothing round about that.
You are right but that's not the case all the time of course. There are also fixed BTC paid campaign. And also, I have paid 0.0025 BTC. Both are identical of course. People transacting with mutual contacts don't bother sending a few sats higher which make a round figure too. I have seen this many times, even in my currency exchange service, I received some round amounts which should be little less. Anyway, most of the times the payment should be somewhat not a round figure, having an on chain analysis would do the calculation. I will look if such data is available. However, you should know that there are a lot of chips (1 mBTC, 2 mBTC, and multiplier)- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5410924.0
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 27, 2022, 08:11:48 AM
I have played Live Casino a lot of times but to be honest, I never felt like I have someone special dealer nor I have ever tried to know their name even lol. However, in a poker game in Thunderpick (can't remember exactly), I felt like I used to win if the lady was the dealer. I had some gain when she was the dealer but when she got changed, I lost everything I won lol.
2024  Other / Meta / TriNinja's custom script to put note on user on: August 27, 2022, 04:00:29 AM
Title- Edited

Link-
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5411387.msg60834138#msg60834138

There are a lot of custom scripts here to track/check many stats. But I'm looking for some custom script if available here so that instead of putting a neutral tag NOTE, I can add note for specific user and whenever I interact with that user, I will see that note. This may not help a lot users but it would be beneficial for me.

PS- Not for commercial use.

2026  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: preev.net - what it should have and how it should look? on: August 27, 2022, 12:29:24 AM
The design should be simple IMO as like preev.com had. Having too much components make it looking awful. I really liked the simple design of preev.com and I believe most people would love that too.
For adding other currencies, having BTC as default option, while people can get ETH and LTC price too. I would prefer these only. If you were to add more, consider community coin lik Dogecoin etc.
For Fiat option, please add as more as you can. Also, I would prefer if it's something like you pull the data from Binance P2P for Fiat option. I would request you to add BDT of course  Cheesy
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 26, 2022, 05:50:04 PM
Casino is a business with a license of the operating country. They must strictly follow the rules/regulations. It is very possible that people use casino for money laundering. In offline casino, it's the heaven for money launderer. So, casino owner are subjected to co-operate with the rules/laws so that they can't simply be used as a money laundering hub. Though I personally don't like to be KYCed, there's no other option when it comes to your turn. They are forced to ask players to go through KYC.

Is this unavoidable in crypto based casinos? Or are crypto gamblers also required to do KYC? If so, crypto can't be as anonymous as it used to be because we realize that today's governments have gone too far in controlling a person's identity and what they use the internet for.
The comparison is not appropriate because the anonymity of crypto and KYC has no relation. You aren’t required to go through KYC because of using crypto, rather you have been asked because they think you as suspicious or they have the rules to follow in their system.
2028  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy Tips: Don't send round amount on: August 26, 2022, 02:18:00 AM
Probably, a loosely implemented feature without any meaningful criteria.
Actually they have some criteria to identify and score a transaction based on their criteria. Though these are basic and very much likely to get a wrong score (as shown by LoyceV), I think following their criteria would definitely give you some extra benefit for your privacy.

They have 100+ indicators to score a transaction. You can check all of them here- https://blockchair.com/api/docs#link_M6
These are basics but of course first step toward privacy. Anyway, I'm not vouching for them lol.
2029  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: August 25, 2022, 12:03:41 PM
So, you had this problem couple of times? I haven’t used betnomi. Created an account. But this doesn’t sound good to be honest. Why would they make such delay on withdrawal? Is this something like the amount is higher? Can you share how much was your withdrawal on March?
2030  Economy / Services / Re: crypto marketing manager needed on: August 25, 2022, 08:54:13 AM
Are you trying to spam the forum with your links? Seems like you are. I can see you have created useless topic in the bounty section people which doesn’t make any sense to be honest. Please stop spamming, rather try to get the best from the forum with following rules. There are a lot of ways to do that.

2031  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [privacy] How many Bitcoin chips are out there? on: August 25, 2022, 08:45:14 AM
The more there are, the better privacy they offer. So I collected the data Smiley
Technically yes but I don’t think this has a lot of things to do. How many people would put the Chips from ChipMixer idle in the address? We don't have any data but I think most of them are spent from the Chips address. And if they are spent, this is unlikely that these chips will be exactly 0.001 BTC or 0.002 BTC and so on.
That's my perspective though. Who knows what people do with their mixed coin? Maybe they keep them idle. I would spend from the source address at least.
2032  Other / Beginners & Help / Privacy Tips: Don't send round amount on: August 25, 2022, 06:45:49 AM
Blockchair has an option to check whether transaction privacy is good or bad. And from that, I learned that sending round amount decrease the privacy of a tx, at least make it almost confirmed and identifiable that round amount is the amount which has been sent to (recipient) and the rest is change address. It makes sense. We are always doing this. We sent round amount most of the times and the rest goes to the change address. Anyone can identify which one is receiver address and which one is change address. If you are concerned about your privacy, this is one of the simple strategy to follow. If you don't send round amount and instead add small amount to the fund you would like to send, it will not be that easy to identify the recipient and change address.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betnomi.com ⚽️ Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion (Prize Fund 0.3 BTC) on: August 25, 2022, 06:35:16 AM
The Yellow Cap reward is given to the Yellow Cap winner of any particular week. The reward is, indeed, a freebet worth $50. That will be paid out to your Betnomi account, though, so you should register for one before the tournament starts.
Thanks for the elaboration. I'm aware of what Yellow cap is as I have played some cricket tournament on superbru. I was looking for whether it will be freebet or in other form. Now it's clear. Thanks, anyway.

And here you go, my tx id- a8d48cc0c798a7bedc33458569cc577fb71a511c8b471122b6cd44792522dab7

Hopefully we will have fun.

Edit- Transaction is RBF enabled. Let me know if I have to increase the fee. I have used 1sat/byte. Hopefully it will be confirmed within an hour at max.

Edit again- It's confirmed now lol.
2034  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅Sicodice.com⭐ $5 Referral Bonus⭐ 25%Cashback⭐ 25%Rakeback⭐ 200 bets/sec⭐ Faucet on: August 24, 2022, 04:54:44 PM
KYC is not required.
Honestly, until now, just in less than 1% of the cases, we asked for KYC.
Just we wanted to make sure users are not in countries such as Syrian or Iran and to make sure users do not have more than 1 account

KYC isn't forced in most of the casinos but it is required when players win a big bet. Most of the times, we have seen most casinos asked for KYC when players win big and somehow they want to confiscate the winning. I know it's something you must have to follow because of the Juries, regulations but I hate to say casino uses KYC as a weapon. I really hope sicodice won't follow that too.

PS- Please make sure you aren’t posting consecutively because it's not allowed in the forum. You can quote and post in a single reply.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betnomi.com ⚽️ Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion (Prize Fund 0.3 BTC) on: August 24, 2022, 03:49:38 PM
Just have noticed this thread. Great to see that betnomi has sponsored this. Though I haven’t participated in previous seasons, this time I will join. I'm not in access of my wallet. Will send the fee in an hour.

I'm a bit confused on the yellow cap reward. Will it be paid through betnomi account in form of free bet? Pardon my ignorance. To be honest, I haven’t read all these pages.
2036  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com 🦵💸 | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels 🚀 🎰 🎲 🔥 on: August 24, 2022, 08:52:17 AM
Nice name picked. A single word domain register from 1996. Sounds good.
First impression: Looks like Punt.com is combination of Duelbits and Stake.
After observation: Punt.com is copy of Stake.com.
Is it really? I haven’t checked closely yet. But it seems like somewhat stake.com and if I'm correct, I have seen a few more casino with almost same UI. If they have copied everything from stake.com, I think that will be foolish. They must have come with some unique layout and of course, at least not copy/paste someone.

Looking for a clarification from punt.com and I really hope it will be positive.
2037  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for marketers for crypto eCommerce marketplace on: August 23, 2022, 09:01:39 AM
I can see "Earn up to 8% APY on crypto asset". May I know what's that referring to? As you are a marketplace, where's the connection between that and offering APY and also cloud mining. It’s not a good example IMO.

On a side note- Why are you only focusing on Australian GEO? You can target globally or have plan in the future.

অভিনন্দন @LittleMouse ভাইকে লিজেন্ডারী মেম্বার হওয়া উপলক্ষে।------------- শুভকামনা রঈলো আপনার সামনের দিনগুলোর জন্য।  Wink

Wink

It would be great if you shared the site you are planning to promote. However, I would recommend you to give the forum ad slots a try for a month with 1 slot and check the result if it's working for you- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5407725.0

Apart from that, you can try to reach some blog sites which write articles/news on micro earning or share tips on micro earning. You are welcome to PM me if you are interested on such deal.

PS- I think you should move this thread on service board to get better responses.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years ago mined 50 Bitcoin just moved on: August 23, 2022, 07:33:44 AM
whoever sent them to this address and maybe thought that they won't move  Smiley
Dust are mostly sent to track the address movement. You can check a lot of small BTC tx in many old addresses and they are sent for the same purpose, tracking the address.

I don't see why people make a lot of noises when they see a tx from an old address. It’s the same as our traditional currency, gold or whatever you can compare to. It’s hard to hold but they did and it paid off.
