2021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers aren't playing around, get serious with your money on: March 02, 2022, 08:18:50 AM
Its getting even more difficult to differentiate a real project from a scam project, there are few scam projects this year that was well spent on in terms of the website details and also information about upcoming roadmaps, I think I might just end up giving up on new projects totally.
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's meta here and there on: February 28, 2022, 07:47:56 PM
Only for the time being, very soon meta hype will slowly fade away and another utility will be the most talk about, the ones that deserves some blame are newbies who can't do their own research first before investing on those new projects.
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gulden bringing CPU mining back with SIGMA on: February 28, 2022, 07:40:08 PM
This is one of the PoW coins I had when it was new today this coin is suffering due to lack of volume and liquidity on and that's on the team to be blame, what have you guys been doing all this while? Even on bittrex exchange the volume is not up to 3000$ I guess it's just another shit pow coin.
2024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto wallets surpassed banks already but you need to know this on: February 28, 2022, 07:31:46 PM
Wallets can be non-custodial, which is good, but be closed-source, which is bad.

That's the case with the Trust Wallet that you recommended. It's closed-source.
Atomic Wallet is also closed-source, while some of its libraries are open-source. But even worse than that is their scamming and selective scamming history. Check out this thread for example.
I think Bread Wallet or BRD is fully open-source. I am not 100% sure though.
Any prove to clear that trust wallet is actually closed source? I'm currently using this wallet and it's worrisome, I did my own research but it was said it's half open source, any prove will be appreciated and I will stop using trust wallet.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Preparing for the future on: February 27, 2022, 11:29:36 AM
You should be worry, getting 1$ from a card that gives you 5$ before will get to you for sure but the oy thing that can make you keep going on is free electricity and I don't see how that's going to be possible unless you set up a solar mining farm.
2026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Linux Vs windows OS security on: February 27, 2022, 11:23:54 AM
Does anyone here only use linux as their main pc though?  Wouldn't that limit them from programs that require windows?
I doubt that because Linux now supports many software unlike few years back, moreover many use their PC for browsing, watching movies and storing funds and Linux supports VLC player, multiple browsers and crypto wallets, can you tell me any software you think is not available on Linux and let's do some digging?.
2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XEC Bitcoin Cash Fork? on: February 27, 2022, 10:54:08 AM
Isn't XEC the old bitcoin ABC? I believe that's it mate the name was rebranded to XEC and it's one of the few ones I want to mine and keep for long term, just because it's a BTC fork doesn't mean it's not good, these coins are better than most new projects raising funds through ICO/IEO and doing nothing after months of hype.
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Time to change thermal pad on memory? on: February 27, 2022, 10:28:38 AM
It's hard to install thermal pad on Vega cards, if you got the wrong pad your mem temp will increase alot, I stay away from AMD cards for few reasons like this one, Nvidia graphic cards are the best.
2029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Emotional Scam on: February 26, 2022, 05:31:11 PM
To all the good people out there I'm sorry for this reply of mine but it's plain truth.

OP no one have good intent for you when they text you or PM you first, it's better not to listen to anyone than giving them a chance because what they are about to say might get you good, every first PM from strangers are scammers trying to get the best of you, if you are using telegram change your settings to never receive any PM.
2030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakeswap? on: February 26, 2022, 05:21:46 PM
Can someone explain to me this?  I literally see the daily highest net gainers to be coins like shiba tron which are like meme coins as they call it.  Almost all these coins when i check where its traded is almost always on pancakeswap or uniswap.

So basically if you want to trade these coins, you have to get account there?  But how are the fees?  Do you need ETH for this?  BTC is no use for those exchanges?
Shiba is the meme coin not Tron unless there is meme coin called shiba tron, the truth about shiba inu is it has managed to prove itself as more than just a meme coin, this project now have better partnerships and better use cases, metaverse, swap and play 2 earn in one box, I'm certain that project will survive.
2031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Still running this bad boys? on: February 26, 2022, 05:16:30 PM
Sell the card while you still can, it's weak for mid range gaming this days only a rx580 8gb is worth having for mining as the oldest GPU among them all, there is a new coin that's worth checking out it's called hivecoin I'm sure your card can still mine this coin heavily because it's a new coin.. DYOR.
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How good is crypto mining for a newbie on: February 26, 2022, 05:05:29 PM
best way to start buy ryzen 5 3600 cpu with gtx 1660s and try it with cpu and gpu both.
CPU mining sucks in 2022 since Monero got out of cryptonight algorithm business, better buy two graphic cards and a very low end desktop with few pcie x1 slots, I've seen some having four of these pcie x1 slots
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Conditions of bounty campaigns these days on: February 25, 2022, 09:50:08 AM
It doesn't hurt to try, what are we even discoursing about here? How is making few posts on social media a big deal every day to get paid? To me bounties is fun, just follow the rules and do your thing, if you get paid it's good and if you don't it's still all well and good, just don't depend your entire life on bounties.
2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things are going with new crypto is worrisome on: February 25, 2022, 09:41:24 AM
Crypto is now the new money race for scammers hackers and dubious people around the world but my point still stands no one will do research for you if you can't do research on your own please stay away from crypto, with the right process of learning you will do just fine, mistakes are inevitable but you will thank yourself for not giving up on yourself.
2035  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do this to avoid stories that touches later on: February 25, 2022, 09:26:46 AM
There is every tendency that you can be hacked why storing your keys online. However you have power controlling you  keys but you must be in charge by taking care of their security.

Hardware wallet is best in time of security.
Hardware wallet isn't the best for two reasons

1. They always need internet connection.
2. You have to keep your private key safe yourself.

Isn't it the same thing with other crypto wallets except from those centralised wallet that gives user no access to their keys?.
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best overclock settings for 6600 (not XT) on: February 25, 2022, 09:23:13 AM

2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins are included in Web 3.0 on: February 24, 2022, 04:14:40 PM
Non is up and running already they are either in process or in beta version, web 3.0 will be cool but none is completed yet it's road to processing, it's better to have some projects base on web 3.0 as the hype isn't even started yet, you don't have to wait till it's completed before you can invest.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good price for 2060 super on: February 24, 2022, 04:07:55 PM
No one should be buying graphic cards right now because profits keeps going down every week now it seems bear season is finally upon us already so wait for a bit longer, also intel graphics card will be out soon so there will be lots of GPU out there for cheaper price.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pulsechain: A Better Alternative to Ethereum? on: February 24, 2022, 01:29:47 PM
Smart contract projects are hot cake but when they get too much it won't matter anymore it will be left for the developers to just choose which one they want, pulsechain seem good too all these smart contract projects are getting boring because there are too many of them in fact I don't know which one to stick with we have kadena, moonbeam, moon River, kardia chain, idena, saito and many more, sigh.
2040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT KEPT ME GOING WITH CRYPTO on: February 24, 2022, 01:14:03 PM
Some people will still choose going down the rabbit hole before learning their lessons, they have to feel the pain or let me say have the taste of losing before they wake up to reality it's the way it is with we humans, mistakes is how we learn and only a forever fool won't adjust after every mistakes.
