2021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $100k? on: January 14, 2022, 10:42:24 PM
What you said about Bitcoin speculation makes sense to me, the decline and increase of the second method has always been in crypto speculation especially Bitcoin that people know today.

My view is of course there is, don't look at the current price of Bitcoin or the crypto market, stick to the phenomenon that has happened for years to Bitcoin, I will give an example in 2017 the increase, in 2018/19 a sharp decline and look again at 2021 and it continues to happen from year to year, not much difference also happened in 2013, do you believe something similar can happen again next year or 4 years from now.

The news you present here has a point for me in speculating the value of crypto prices in the next year.
There's nothing impossible about the price, at least that's the case over the years. I've had several periods of big ups and downs so far since 2018, it's been great. But the least important thing is that people want price as high as $100K while they are risking nothing. Totally useless, they believe in potential but they never buy. That means they are cheat themselves.

They do just go with the flow and its true that people been hoping for $100k but didnt really made out some accumulation while its still cheap which means its pretty useless that way.

Whenever you do hope for high price then it would be just sensible that you would really accumulating so that those kind of claims and hopes in mind will really be that worth it once the price had made out some good recovery or able to hit those new ATH's.

Everything is possible and Bitcoin had made us surprised for how many times and able to hit those levels which we didnt anticipate for it to happen.

The flow now is quite bearish, so $100k would not come soon. If the market will remain bullish, expect that we will see a lower price than the current price, it's not that I don't believe that bitcoin will achieve a new high, I just believe on the market trends as what I witness in the past.

So instead of thinking about the $100k price, why not consider the possibility of accumulating when bitcoin drops $20k?

Do you think it's possible?
2022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 14, 2022, 10:08:38 PM
It's possible that Casimero will lose, but based on the betting odds, he will likely win this fight as he is a heavy favorite. Butler considers this fight as a big fight that he has to win, so both fighters really want to win as this is their ticket to fight Inoue who is probably waiting for a unification fight.
Yes, he's the favorite of the crowd and that's why odds are obvious on him. But true to that, that, it's still possible for him to lose.
It's still unknown whether Casimero wins, Inoue is going to say yes and his team for the match that was once delayed and should be for the both of them. There's no answer yet if he's still interested in fighting him.
I would doubt Inoue's team will really say yes, I still have doubts until now because prior to this fight Casimero was already challenging Inoue but they didn't make a final decision, he was just responding but no signing of contract, that's why I have doubt man. you can't blame me.
If they will push this through, I still see Casimero to win the fight and that could be a great way for him to challenge Inoue, though for some medical reason this match was postponed right? Hoping that they can finally settle this since Casimero is slowly losing his fans because of the current situation. If its just a pure trash talk, I don’t think Casimero vs Inoue will push through as well, better to sign the contract now.
Casimero still has the fans, just like Spence getting out for injury, when he comes back he still has the supporters. Casimero has not lost a fight after a good win streak, so he is still very dangerous especially if he is healthy on the night of the fight. For sure he has already started his training because he cannot disregard his challenger and once again he can prove to the world that he is a world class fighter.
2023  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: January 14, 2022, 01:58:15 PM
I wonder when the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 100k +. Because at present the approval of bitcoin is increasing in different countries. And different countries based cryptocurrencies keep coming to the market. From that point of view, it is expected that the price of Bitcoin will increase the most. But in the next few years, the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise, so long-term Bitcoin will continue to improve. What is your opinion?

For long term, yes, but for short term, just expect that the market will remain volatile and we might see another huge drop again. it's not new to the crypto space, the pump and dump are happening unexpectedly, but looking at the big picture, the price is always going in a  positive growth

I wish I could travel to the past so I could change my life forever.  Smiley

We never know what would happen to the future of bitcoin, but as a bitcoin enthusiast, I always believe that someday it will benefit us as long as we invested it now. You are right, the bitcoin that we make in the forum like signature campaign earnings could be a huge value in the future, so it's always good to consider saving some of our earnings.

2026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 13, 2022, 10:38:22 PM
Go for the casino if you want to have fun but if you are serious about gambling I suggest sports betting as you can improve your skills there. This is my personal belief only, not saying that Casinos are bad because I think there are people who are also making money playing in a casino.

The point here is, the house edge will make gamblers lose if not now then it will be in the long run.

Take note also that you cannot win in sports betting if you are not a sports enthusiast as you need to love the sports first before you can enjoy betting and be more successful.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 13, 2022, 10:18:56 PM
The Lakers losing to the Kings is shameful...  I'm on board with Frank Vogel (one of my favorite coaches) being fired at the all star break.  It's clear his system is not working and he's horrible at managing his talent.  Another great outing by Dwight Howard in extremely limited minutes...  He made all 3 of his shots, was sent to the line 4 times, and grabbed 7 rebounds in under 15 minutes along with having a +/- of +9 in the loss.  It's crazy he's not getting ~30 minutes a night the way he's been playing.  Vogel has got to go.  The talent is there.  If they aren't going to trade Westbrook and AD immediately, they need to dump Vogel.

I thought that the Lakers are going to win this one against the Kings, I mean they should so I would agree that it's a shameful that after a 5 winning streak, they are back in the losing end again. Hard to really pinpoint what is the issue but it could be the Vogel is no longer the coach that is suited for the Lakers because of so many superstars and he don't know who and how to rotate them and still presses with the old process of going with Westbrook when he is committing a lot of TO.

I think folks should just accept that Lakers are not winning the Championship this season. What the lakers should be doing is playing awesome defense and slowing the game down so they can win in the half court. Lebron's offense for another day is elite and his defense for another day is very bad. And you can't blame him of course, he is playing the right way because he can't give you his energy for defense and then can't be elite offenser. Defense takes away a lot from you, much more from anything in the floor. That's why the bests scorer's aren't good in defense.

They are not getting any younger, if they will not win a championship this season then let's expect that we will not anymore see the same line up next season, and I have a feeling that Westbrook will be traded because he was ineffective with the Lakers uniform.

Agree, they are hyped this season, and then it will only result in disappointment, the management would not love that, they may retain Lebron and AD but Westbrook just like last season will be traded again. The Lakers are doing good in their last 10 games but the fans are just hard to please since we are expecting too much from them so now we are disappointed.

I'm with you there mate, I also believe that Westbrook will just end up being traded again or Carmelo Anthony, I mean, we have no doubts about their talent because we already knew about their capabilities. It's just Westbrook isn't accustomed for not being in the spotlight and only supports LBJ who leads and carry the team.
We can't blame the fans for being disappointed because including me, I expected a different gameplay from the Lakers who had lots of star players.

Let's accept the fact early that they'll not gonna win a championship this season, the hype died when they struggle in some games especially against a team that is 0.500 in standing. I would instead cheer my other favorite teams like the Bulls, Warriors, and now the Memphis.

2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 13, 2022, 11:08:22 AM
Today's game is unbelievable as most of us who bet on the Sixers and the Bulls to win lost.

I guess that's how the games turns unpredictable, I mean the Sixers is really playing very good and have their own winning streak and it seems that they have move on with the Simmons drama. But then again the Hornets win against the Bucks brings them into another momentum. The same with the Bulls, we thought that the Nets is somewhat messy and not in full strength but then Kyrie plays and Harden as well.

Hornets still have that momentum while Sixers might be exhausted. Oh well it's just another bad night for both Bulls and Sixers today.

I just noticed the offensive of Hayward he's bringing his worth to this team, remember that big contract personally i see him proving

that he worth it, Hornets really made a good one bringing him to help Ball and the rest of the Hornets franchise..
For me Hayward is the leader of the Hornets team, maybe he is taking his time though and allowing his other team mates to shine. But if he is on the night, he is hard to stop and it seems that he is on his prime just like when he was still in Utah. So it could be unexpected results that they have won against the Sixers, but if you look at how deep the team is right now, you can say that this win is no fluke.

Hayward has improved as a team player, he learns that back in the Celtics and now he is bringing that attitude. I'm so happy for him, after a bad injury, at once I thought his career will be over and good thing Hornets believe in him and gave him a chance to prove himself.

Not sure about Donaire though, it seems that he is fine with staying at 118 lbs and we all know that he is not getting any younger to bouncing off in weight might be a big problem for him in the future.
Donaire get a hard time on the higher weight division although he get a title but doesnt last long, and eventually decided to go to lower weight division where he dominate before which he want to get it again but with inoue reigning i dont know if he can do it. Thats true that age affects a lot so lets see how it will go.
Yeah, it comes with age, in my opinion, and since Inoue is still very young, then he can definitely move up in weight and win some belts.

In the case of Donaire, I guess the era when he went up was not good, I mean the timing itself, there are a lot of great boxers that time that's why he losses some going North. so he prefers in this weight category that he dominates even at his age.

You can't blame him with that, he was so confident that time because he was winning fights, and it's just normal for a boxer to try to push his limit and for Donaire, he already see how far he can go so he goes back to where he is more comfortable and he made the right decision.

Agree with you, at least Donaire is a real champion who is not afraid of losing, unlike other fighters who are just making sure they will not lose and because of that they will just choose to fight a fighter that they are certain they can dominate. I know some but I won't mentioned the name as I don't want to hurt the fans feelings, lol.

He can fight anyone, besides he does not have an undefeated record to take care of. Donaire is an accomplished fighter, at this age, he is still a champion and for sure he will have a bigger fight before he will hang his gloves. Donaire is the pride of the Filipinos, he makes us proud with his achievement so we will continue to support him in all his fights.
2031  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: is it really bearish? on: January 12, 2022, 11:52:28 PM
There's a small recovery, this is a good sign for the market, however, I think it's just a small pump but when the bearish mode is more dominant then we can expect more drops in the days to come. We cannot expect a lot after a bull run as based on trends, the market will be bearish afterwards, that's the fact.
2032  Economy / Economics / Re: Tonga will probably be the next country to make Bitcoin legal tender on: January 12, 2022, 11:22:47 PM
I wouldn't be surprised if they'll legalize bitcoin.  A country that is not good economically has all the freedom to try to make to develop their country and they see that opportunity in crypto, it just has to be regulated so everything will be under control and us investors seeing countries adopting bitcoin as their legal tender would boost confidence in investing and holding it for long term.

Looking forward to further development and great news, I hope this will work out effectively.
2033  Economy / Economics / Re: Is PayPal plannning to Launch of Own Stablecoin? on: January 12, 2022, 10:10:09 PM
Few Paypal users over the years.
I wouldn't say few, there's still a lot of their users. They've got an estimate of 390 million users worldwide and that's ain't few.

I'll compare this possible launching of their own stable coin to Facebook's Libra that has failed. They're both planned but not executed so let's see if PayPal will just remain on their planning stage and might end up the same as Libra's.

it would be a great idea, their stable coin should be traded in crypto exchanges, and with that, everything will be easy to use their platform. I'm sure they know how to handle the legal aspects so they'll get approval and everything will run according to plan. Anything that adds users to the crypto space is a good development that's why this one is good for me.
2034  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 12, 2022, 09:33:44 PM

Speaking of savings and investment plans then saving up in your wallet alone would be enough and let volatility would do the rest.
Don't worry about volatility if you are saving as it would only make you panic, almost every day the price is moving, you can't ignore that if you are so sensitive to price volatility. You'll only be affected by volatility if you are doing short-term trading as it's very crucial to understand the price movement so you'll do the right decision at the right timing.
2035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make $ 1,000,000 out of $ 30,000? on: January 12, 2022, 02:42:00 PM
Everything is possible, but you have to understand that investing in crypto is a risk, it's called a risk because you can be profitable or you will lose your money. Though some people may suggest the right strategy but like I said, it will not guarantee success. You have already recovered some of your money, so I guess you already know how to be profitable, but in terms of the targeted amount, you have a high target so you need to have a good skills to be consistent.

Ps. don't listen to anyone that's telling they can help you, because if they can really do it, they don't need to talk to other people, they just enjoy the profit on their own.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 12, 2022, 01:57:24 PM
I would be happy if the trade that we are looking for will eventually come into reality. Ben Simmons has been laid off for a while, he need a new team so him and the 76ers will be able to move on and everyone will be happy. If he will play with the Hawks, then so be it, as long as both teams are satisfied on the trade, everything should happen ASAP.
Deadline is near and most of the time they are doing the trades a day before it ends. 76ers might be looking for another offer that's why they leaked the news of a possible trade with the Atlanta Hawks. What could Tobias Harris be feeling right now when he saw he is part of the rumors?
It's not just that, Thybulle is also being injected on the gossip in exchange for the Harris gift pack.  Grin Why don't they try Phoenix Suns so that Kendall Jenner won't have troubles going back and forth Phoenix and Philadelphia. Just kidding.  Cheesy
That's less than a week from now, and eventually, we will know when Simmons will land after many months of waiting. If other teams will be interested on Simmons, they could have got him before the deadline, but it's still up to the 76ers on whom they'll approve as they paid a lot fo Simmons being one of the star players of the team.

2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Volume measured in $? on: January 12, 2022, 12:49:10 PM
There's an option where you can check the BTC volume, but since USD is the standard monetary value in the world, everything is measured by USD, it's just like a global language where everyone will understand.
2039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: January 11, 2022, 11:47:00 PM
In my opinion, risk management in trading is very necessary. Maybe we shouldn't be greedy to hope for bigger profits when we get a commensurate profit, but when we consistently survive in the long term it is much more profitable.

Yeah, "risk management" is very important in any investment.

however, the fact that we are investing in crypto, that means are ready to take higher risk without a higher goal of profit. If those who invested early did not take a high risk, then most probably they are not enjoying their huge profit now. My point is, invest what you can afford to lose only and take the risk if you see there's a huge potential on it too.

2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Estrada vs Gonzalez Trilogy - March 5 on: January 11, 2022, 11:22:27 PM
^^ Ok that is good news for boxing fans and as we all know that two fights are really classic and as you have said, it's 1-1 and this third fight will settle the score.

And as per sportsbet.io, the odds are the following:

Estrada - 1.85
Gonzalez - 1.85

Interesting that the odds is 50/50 as well.

This is one of the fights that i'm waiting for. Yes, for me it is exciting to watch and betting wise, you can get value of your money even if you only bet on the moneyline.

Though i'm a fan of Roman Gonzales but seeing him performed against Estrada last time, i don't think he would win unless something happens or Gonzales would hurt Estrada somewhere in the middle rounds.

This is just my observation, seems to me that Gonzales is on the down hill of his career while Estrada is peaking.

Same here, I'm definitely gonna put a bet on the winner last time, he has the momentum so I guess he could win the fight. The odds are great,  Estrada is not a huge favorite, so this is an opportunity for us bettors to place our bet early as I believe an odds movement might happen in favor of Estrada as the fight is approaching.
