Well in the beginning, everyone thought that Casimero doesn't want to fight that's why he is a no show in the weigh-in and there are speculations that he can't make the weight, hence his absence. So everyone writes him off and says that he is going to be stripped of the title.

But later we found out that he has some kind of virus and the WBO gives him a chance to submit a medical certification to clear his name. And thankfully, WBO is fair as they deem that Casimero has a valid reason so he was not strip of the belt and then they are going to push for the fight.
