I've reported it, so you may not see this gem for long.
So, guys and gals, if you don't want to have problems with your bitcoin wallets,  make sure you clean them properly and use leather conditioner!  Cheesy Cheesy
This is not weird at all, don't you remember Trump's suggestion on how we could destroy covid? By injecting sanitizer.🤣
2022  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: January 26, 2023, 10:33:14 PM
Lol why do I feel a hunger games theme here with people congratulating each other on ranking up. Though there are other movies which I can't recall their names. Look what theymos did to forum members.😂
2023  Other / Off-topic / Re: Securing brains from satellites on: January 26, 2023, 10:07:27 PM
Imagine they read our minds, they'd go crazy to know what is on our minds. Stop watching sci-fi movies, or smoke less weed, doing both would widen your thought process spectrum.

So what is the consensus on using chatGPT? Since I'm not sure, I just post this parrot's comment here.

I'm a close friend of OpenAI so I recognize her tone anywhere I see it.😅
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: controversial / possibly dangerous proposals for bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 07:56:25 PM
Do they care about what others propose?
Should anyone care what they are doing even if it leads to centralization, if we can't actually stop them?
So bitcoin if centralized, #fork and dump the centralized chain.
2026  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WifSolverCuda - new project for solving WIFs on GPU on: January 26, 2023, 07:45:56 PM
when you never show your settings/command line, it makes it harder to help you without having to ask you 10 questions to understand what you are doing wrong.
Since you insist 😀 here, I'm testing puzzle 153. What am I doing wrong?

Code:
Desktop\WIF>wifsolver.exe -restore filestatus.txt -c -stride 1520000000 -rangestart 100000000000000000000000000000000000000 -rangeend 1ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff -a 18192XpzzdDi2K11QVHR7td2HcPS6Qs5vg
WifSolver 0.6.2

KwDiBf89QgGbjEhKnhXJuH7LrciVrZi3qYjgd9Mr4DWxM4mCemQa
-rangeStartInit=800000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001014671FC3F
-rangeStart=800000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000CF3D73599014671FC3F
-rangeEnd=80FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFEBAAEDCE6AF48A03BBFD25E8CD036414101271AA03F
-stride=1520000000
-a=18192XpzzdDi2K11QVHR7td2HcPS6Qs5vg
-checksum=
-c
-b=16
-t=640
-s=5000

Lol, I know I'm looking in a wrong place though.
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Issues with Proof-of-Work on: January 26, 2023, 06:49:54 PM
Why do I think this is an interview between OP and franky? Lol. I haven't seen any proposal worth discovering, have you? Bitcoin becoming centralized is equal to no bitcoin at all, no one will use it.

2029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: == Bitcoin challenge transaction: ~100 BTC total bounty to solvers! ==UPDATED== on: January 26, 2023, 05:25:46 PM
Rome nor any city was built in a day...the same is true for this challenge.
Agreed, however don't forget the original purpose of this challenge, which is to persuade people work together and find unforeseen weaknesses, so we should share all of our ideas publicly so the people in charge of development could have a chance of preventing any fatal damage to the system, because you know, it's not about one man becoming rich, it's about millions of people and their lives on the line.

I'm interested to know if there is any way to calculate how often on average a certain address pops up in the key range, for example, take the first half from #66 address and search in sequence to see if you can find any pattern, if there was any then you could follow that same pattern for any other address.

What I realize is that we can never find any easy way to solve the riddle of breaking EC.

My suggestion is not just for you, Anyone with enough hash power could do this.
2030  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Address reuse is simpler than alternatives and not always bad - discussion on: January 26, 2023, 01:16:25 PM
About the clipboard malware where it can replace your address with a fairly similar address, how can they generate such addresses at will, isn't that hard to do?

The creator of the malware could just include list of Bitcoin address from their wallet to the malware.
Well I know that, but it's the matter of similarity between your address and the atacker's.
For example if I use this address
Code:
111113DUwES2ZNWSJztA3oBuhzfcdmiaG
all the time, wouldn't it be easy for me to notice another address when I copy paste it? How can the attacker generate an address that looks just like my address? As I said above, it is possible for the hacker to generate look alike address if they have enough time, hence the disadvantage of re-used addresses.
2031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: January 26, 2023, 01:04:49 PM
what is your question about this uncompressed WIF key? What you like to find out ?
I wanna know what are the all possibilities regarding private keys, for example, what else could we find on private keys, what sentences could go into a valid pk?
Since this challenge has somewhat a more educational approach towards blockchain infrastructure, I'm asking this here.

In the process of generating bitcoin addresses, what are the needed factors, a decimal string, public key string, hashing, adding checksum, calculating the private key and generating the address. What can we set/change manually? And how to know if our input will result in a valid address?
2032  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Address reuse is simpler than alternatives and not always bad - discussion on: January 26, 2023, 12:20:09 PM

However if you are using one address over and over, and if your device is compromised, the attacker then has enough time to somehow generate an address to trick you. This alone could be a disadvantage.
2033  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WifSolverCuda - new project for solving WIFs on GPU on: January 26, 2023, 11:09:53 AM
Thank you for your time, I ran a device query and apparently my cuda cap is 5.0, however after running the program returned a kernel launch failed : no kernel image on device, any advice? I'm new to this stuff.

I have prepared a Windows build for compute cap 5.0 (cuda 11.Cool, try now:
https://github.com/PawelGorny/WifSolverCuda/releases/tag/v0.6.2

WOW, I'm really amazed by the performance, I used another tool and got 28MK/s with GPU use: 0, and now I'm using your tool with 450MK/s Also GPU use: 0%. either the speed shown is incorrect or I have a special system.
Why is it when I set -restore it shuts down? I tried it at the end of the command line and at the start, didn't work. Are you aware of finderouter that has an UI? Would that be possible to use his UI on your tool or not?

One thing though I couldn't quite figure out how to set my WIF with missing chars, calculating stride etc, which is something I should work on by myself.

Thank you man, your job is superb.
2034  Other / Meta / Re: [ASK] Does this forum really have its own wallet platform? on: January 26, 2023, 08:51:02 AM

That sentence alone should raise suspicion, dear forum users! imagine someone like theymos use something like dear. On top of that giving 100 free bitcoins. this is more of a funny joke. Lol.🤣 never repost a suspicious link.

Ps, I'll send a tip when I find my 1+ bitcoin address.😉

So what you are saying is that when you use BTC in your comment, forum should take a snapshot from the market price and save it? What if I edit my post after 2 years, which price should be shown, the first post or the edited post?
Good luck convincing theymos aka The Boss.

snip
Please use scientific notation for large numbers, it's really hard navigating the page reading your post.
Btw, what's your point? I see no conclusion.

I have something for you, want to see if you can figure something out of it.
The following is a real private key:

Code:
5KeysCompromisedStopUsingBitcoinSELLRightNow8AzDLiL
Could you figure out what are the other possibilities regarding private keys with the huge number of keys that exist?

A fun fact about bitcoin is that private key is private but is not a secret, because they are all known, out there sitting for anyone to see them, however this is not the case about addresses, they are actually the secret element which nobody seems to realize, this fact is hiding in plain sight.
Now after reading some of your posts, can you find any relation between addresses and their private keys, such as in binary/hex/decimal/wif?
Let me give you a hint, there is a relation but it's spread throughout the entire key range, we can actually map out all the addresses just like there is a map of all private keys, but trying to map the addresses will take decades with 50 super computers, though if we had a QC and 10,000,000 TB of storage, we could create that map in less than 6 month.

Hi, do you have any topic on your solver cuda or this is it?
I have a device with a 3.2 CCAP, it's nvidia geforce 920mx (GPU) with an intel integrated GPU. How can I change cuda settings in VS? Or do I need to install an older version of cuda? I currently have version 12.

Isn't there a way to automate these configs? Why do open source programs have these manual configurations?

Lol too many questions, appreciate the respond.

Hi there, is there any ETR( expected time of release) on GPU supported version?
2040  Other / Off-topic / Re: Investing in a mini-reactor on: January 24, 2023, 11:00:11 AM
People have become timid.
They can't answer a simple question.
Instead of the expected answer, you get some nonsense
Maybe for you is nonsense but for the rod is full of sense and joy.🤣 as you said, you need to turn-on your imagination, so why don't you do the same and give us the answer?
My answer/solution is pussy/vagina. What is yours? It's not good to make fun of people with limited understanding of science-fiction, if you have a science-factual question, shoot, I'll see what I can come up with to satisfy you. deal?
